Holiday started brilliantly when Kostas met us at the port and drove us to the apartment, with a quick stop to let us stock up on essentials. There was fruit, bread ,water, wine, coffee butter, washing up liquid and milk ready for us at the Villa plus cupboard staples like olive oil, pasta….❤️
He gave us great recommendations for restaurants, beaches e.t.c and drove us back into to town and helped sort car hire.
Inside the Villa is high spec and spacious. Kostas has thought of everything you could need, even down to the finer details like mosquito plugs and coco mat slippers!
Everything is spotless and the lovely cleaner, Verina, keeps it this way twice a week.
We absolutely loved the peace and privacy of this Villa and the beautiful view of Skopelos town and out to sea…all of which can be seen from the fabulous pool and the large terrace.
We used the great outside barbecue a few times, which had generous seating, outside sink and further stunning views. Charcoal provided!
If you are reading this review and hesitating on whether you should book…..worry not, it is a slice of heaven with Kostas on hand to ensure a smooth, relaxing holiday.
Do it!!

My family and I spent two wonderful weeks at this beautiful villa in August, and we really didn’t want to leave! We still have post holiday blues 2 weeks later!
The villa is perfect, so well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean (the coco mat mattress toppers on all the beds are to die for - I haven’t slept so well for some time!)
The outside space is incredible, with the most stunning views over Skopelos town. The only problem we had was deciding where to sit each day.. by the pool? under the shade of the trees by the beautiful bbq area? at the outdoor dining table on the terrace? It was a good dilemma!
The salt water pool by the way is fabulous, day and night.
The owners, Kostas & Voula, are the loveliest hosts. Kostas met us at the port on arrival, took us via the supermarket so we could pick up some supplies, and talked us through everything we needed to know at the villa. He had also left some things to help get us started .. wine, tea, coffee, milk, fruit, pasta, cheese etc etc. such a lovely surprise and very much appreciated! If you get the opportunity you must go and see Kostas sing and play the guitar in the town, probably my favourite night of all! Such genuine, kind hosts, we can’t thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home and for all the help you gave us during our stay. We feel very lucky that we found this villa, and really hope to be able to visit again 😊

The perfect gateway location
Firstly we as a family have to thank Kostas, the property owner. Given that we visited the property during such uncertain times due to COVID 19 his help and attention during our stay has been above and beyond expectation. Arranging transportation to the island after our ferry encountered problems and limited service due to the pandemic, to organising a hire car to be waiting on the port as we arrived in Glossa and not as planned in Skopelos town. Kostas was on hand with all the information about where to visit, locations he would recommend to eat out and other useful advice. Truly the perfect host. The villa, well it’s as previous comments suggested it would be. It’s perfect, clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need to feel at home away from home. Fully air conditioned and cool inside. The outside areas are huge, plenty of room to sit and laze by the pool in the sun or if you prefer shade there’s the covered areas closer to the villa and the BBQ area with shade provided by some large trees. It’s located on the hillside overlooking Skopelos town below, it’s access road is a challenge the first time round, but after that it’s a source of entertainment at the end of a trip out. If like us you are wanting to walk into town for a meal and drinks in the evening it’s possible in about 15 minutes, probably 20 on the way home as the walk back is a steep one up some steps out of town then a steep sloping road back to the villa but nothing that would stop you doing it. Once in Skopelos town the variety of bars, restaurants and other places to visit is plenty for a two week stay without having to retrace your steps if you like trying different things. All in all, it’s been an amazing two weeks, once again Kostas thank you.

Traumhafte Tage

Wonderful Skopolos
The villa is quite frankly amazing. There is everything you need or could want in this wonderful setting overlooking the bay. Kostas made out trip very special with his outstanding help and attention to detail. From picking us up and dropping us off at ferries to helping us with car hire and advice with where to eat and visit, he was superb. Amazing guy and wonderful villa.

Private stunning helpful lovely owner
Kostas picked us up at the ferry
There was food and fruit and wine and water at our arrival. He was ever so helpful in all aspects. Pool house and cleaning top. The cleaning lady came every day and changed bedding and linen as needed. Mattresses, linen, towels first class. Perfect stay for skopelos, garden is wonderful and so is the pool and the house.

Amazing villa in an amazing island!
We were so lucky to stay in this beautiful villa owned by a super nice person.....the greatest Kostas!!! The villa is even better than in the pictures. Extremely comfortable, bright, spacious, fully equipped, relaxing, quite and with a wonderful swimming pool and barbecue area with stunning view!
The villa is only 10 minutes from Skopelos town and we had a great time there with our friends.
A special thanks to Kostas for his kindness and availability....he was always ready to help us with very good suggestions on beaches and restaurants.
Kostas....please forgive us for having missed your musical performance.....however, we have a good excuse to come back to Skopelos!!!

Very nice stay, our expectations were fully met.
Our holidays were delightful.
The house is really pleasant, very well maintained and not far from Skopelos town.
The design of the property, its equipment and the service provided were perfect.
The view on Skopelos bay is so nice and changing depending on the moment of the day.
We received a warm welcome from Kostas, the host, who gave us plenty of advices to fully enjoy our stay.
We won’t hesitate to return.

JUST A DELIGHT!
We were so impressed last year, we just had to come back and am pleased to say we had yet another fabulous stay. Kostas was his usual perfect host, can not do enough for you with Galina unintrusively keeping the place spotlessly clean. It really does feel like a home from home, so peaceful, so relaxing, a week just was not enough.Looking forward to returning already.

Stunning villa!
A week was certainly not long enough at this stunning villa on the beautiful Island of Skopelos.
From the minute we arrived, where we were greeted at the port by Kostas to the minute we left, we were made so welcome, with Kostas attending to our every need.
The villa exceeded our expectations, along with the outside kitchen area and eco friendly pool - we couldn't have asked for anything more.
With the location of the villa set high above the town, the views were superb. The walk down to the town took about 15 minutes, the walk back up does take a little longer especially after some Greek red wine or Ouzo!
We would recommend hiring a car for a few days to explore the Island, and if you have time the Mamma Mia Chapel is worth a visit, especially if you are a fan of the movie.
Additional recommendation would include Dinner at Anna's restaurant where you can hear Kostas play traditional Greek music.
We would like to thank Kostas for his outstanding hospitality and would love to return one day.

A Truly Wonderful Villa
I am slightly compromised writing this review as it feels like we have found something really really special that we want to keep to ourselves, our own little corner of paradise ! It was our first visit to Skopelos and it was so good we came back again in August and are already planning a return next year. It is a truly beautiful island easily accessable from Skiathos by ferry. We were a party of four and were met on arrival by the owner Kostas who along with his wife Voula couldnt have been more helpful throughout our stay, even helping me sort an issue with a hire car !!!
You are always a little anxious when you arrive at your holiday "home" as you so want the pictures and description to exceed your expectations. We had no need to worry. I can honestly say that the villa, pool and surroundings were exceptional. It is truly a little corner of paradise sitting above the town with stunning views of the port and the sea. The furnishings and facilities were of a very high standard. I can honestly say there was nothing we could fault
Skopelos is an amazing island and has many great restaurants, too many to list and review . I have no hesitation in recommending the villa and the lovely owners Kostas & Voula

Outstanding, can't speak highly enough of this stunning villa!
First time visitors to Skopelos and first time we have stayed in a villa so what a great start. If future villas come anywhere near this one then we will be extremely happy.
Firstly, the owner Kostas could not have been more welcoming and attentive. From picking us up and dropping us back off at the port, helping with our cases, to taking us to the supermarket en route to the Villa initially to collect supplies as we did not have a car, to providing invaluable advice throughout re restaurants, beaches etc.
Kostas had also supplied some basic food and drink provisions which was a very nice touch.
The villa itself is stunning, both in its situation, magnificent views of the harbour from up on the hillside, the scale of the place, lots of room inside and out. Extremely peaceful and private, not overlooked at all, just you and the crickets. The pool and pool area was lovely and a good size.
Inside the villa is extremely well thought out and clearly the attention to detail is evident everywhere, cool white simple decor with lots of individual pieces to add colour and interest everywhere. Outside, the landscaping is equally stunning, of the highest standard with a magnificent barbeque area.
The Inside and out of the villa and pool area was maintained spotlessly throughout by Galina's daily morning visit. Would recommend this villa to everyone.
Just one note, that a car or suitable mode of a transport would make the trips back & to into the town a little easier. The magnificent views you enjoy from the villa mean that it is up on the hillside. We walked up & down which is no more than 10-15 mins but is quite a challenge. To be fair it seemed to get easier and quicker as the week went on but is a consideration.

The warm welcome we received from Kostas began the moment we booked our holiday, several months prior to our two-week stay in June 2015.By the time we arrived on Skopelos we felt almost like old friends, met by Kostas himself at the quayside and chauffeured up the steep, winding road to the villa – a helping hand we appreciated enormously. Our first sight of the house exceeded our already high expectations; the impressive photos on the website don’t do full justice to how smart, clean and spacious it is – and with those breathtaking views of the bay from the terrace. The villa is secluded, quiet, well-equipped and very comfortable, a perfect spot to get away from it all.Skopelos is beautiful, its inhabitants are friendly and everything is good value – perhaps unsurprising for a visitor from the UK benefitting from the favourable £/€ rate and pre third-bailout economy in the early summer of 2015. It's not a big island, so you can cover most places with a car in a few days. That leaves plenty of time to lounge around the pool, explore the town, seek out the best restaurants. As well as all these clear positives, perhaps our overwhelming memory is of the friendliness of Kostas and his wife, Vroula. Their good taste, attention to detail and care of their guests really are second to none. We found nothing to be too much trouble for them, whether assisting with occasional food shopping, helping out with a place to hire a car (go to Magic Cars for great customer service and a complimentary jar of homemade preserve – take note Hertz), advising on where to eat out, or being handed the secret of the shortcut walk into town.We certainly plan to return.

Super stay in Villa Aloupi on Skopelos
A beautiful Villa, all the facilities were excellent and well thought out. Everything in the Villa is of a very high quality and very tasteful. The villa is very spacious, very clean, light, air conditioned (which we needed during our little heat wave).
Beautiful pool area and floral garden. We used the BBQ and its seating area with super views over the harbour. Well done to Kostas the owner ! Kostas is a super host and really good to talk to about Greece and travelling around. We were collected at the Port and dropped off again when we left. The path to the town was a good walk in the heat but the pool was excellent to jump into afterwards. We travelled around this small island during our 2 weeks and found super beaches and tavernas. Our 2 weeks were simply splendid. We have enjoyed listening to Kostas CD which we bought from his shop. Many thanks again to Kostas and Voula for the fantastic holiday we had. Lisa, Max, Harry (18) Verity (18).

Absolutely Wonderful Villa!
We spent a week at Kostas's beautiful Villa and really didn't want to leave! Kostas is a delightful man and so helpful. He very kindly met us at the Port in Skopelos on our arrival and drove us to his Villa and spent time showing us around and giving us lots of local information. The Villa was spotless, fully air conditioned with luxurious fixtures and fittings and a fabulous selection of goodies to welcome us. The outside area was beautiful, on two levels, with the pool situated down a few steps from the terrace. The views over Skopelos Town and the sea beyond were stunning. I really can't praise this Villa enough and anyone planning a visit to Skopelos will definitely feel the same if they decide to stay here. Hiring a car is a good idea as it is situated high above the town and up some very steep roads. However, there is a lovely walk down from the Villa via a locked gate at the edge of the property. This is just a 10-15 minute walk and delightful taking you directly to the Port and the pretty cobbled streets of the town. By the way, when you stay you must go and see Kostas sing and play his guitar with his friend on the bazouki at Anna's restaurant they are very good-a real Greek treat! Anna's restaurant is very good and set in a beautiful court yard in the heart of the town. Another excellent restaurant was the Orchard, just a short walk from the Port. This is set in beautiful gardens with excellent food, we thought the best. Skopelos is a beautiful island and as we had a car, we managed to see much of it including the Mamma Mia church and many of it's secluded beaches and towns. Kayaking on a sunset trip out of Elios, was fantastic too. We would love to return one day and so happy to have met lovely Kostas and his wife Vroula-a big, big thank you!

Beauty, peace, luxury in a homely setting
Our family of two adults and two children (10 and 13 at the time) enjoyed a wonderful relaxing holiday in this wonderful, comfortable, spacious villa. The photos on the Owners Direct website attracted us to this property so our expectations were high, yet they were exceeded the moment we set foot on the island. Kostas is the perfect host. No effort was spared to make us feel at home. The villa is wonderfully spacious, tastefully decorated to give it a very homely feel. There has been great attention to detail as all conveniences are present and even things like a comfortable cover for the sofa means that the house is lovely, clean and maintained to a very high standard. Every 2 or 3 days the place is cleaned and linens are refreshed (even pool towels) and with airconditioning throughout the house it is always comfortable. Our favourite bit was the outdoor table where we would sit each morning enjoying the breathtaking ocean views. Also the beautifully landscaped garden and pool area with outdoor kitchen and bar were a highlight. This property could have easily been made into a 3 or 4 bedroom accommodation if the rooms would have been made smaller, but as a 2 bedroom dwelling the extra space makes it a so much more luxurious place to stay. If I were to say that the accommodation doesn't match it's description it would only be because I believe it is better! I would highly recommend this villa for anyone who would like a relaxing holiday treat. A car is essential to get to the property as it involves a steep climb uphill so not suitable for carrying heavy groceries, but for those who enjoy walking a walk into town at night for dinner is easily manageable. I cannot fault this place. Beautiful beaches and nice restaurants are a short drive away and Kostas will be more than happy to point out where to find the best food. His advice is worth following as there are also many less exciting places to eat too. There are other properties that are bigger or cheaper, but I cannot imagine they will be as nice as this one. I am looking forward to booking our next trip to Skopelos soon.

Most Unforgettable Experience
For of us (two adult couples) spent a week at Villa Aloupi in August 2014. I am extremely well travelled and have stayed in vacation rentals many times before. However, never before had I felt more privileged! This is a luxurious accommodation in a fantastic island. From the comfort of the beds to the quality of the linen, and from the quality of the kitchen utensils to state-of-the-art and beautifully designed facilities such as the salt water pool and the barbecue space outside, this is like a five-star hotel (though with a totally private pool) at a fraction of the cost (especially if you go as a group). The cleanliness of the place is just unbelievable, and a housekeeping is included every three days. Kostas and his wife were the most amazing hosts (picking us up at the port, arranging our scooter rental, promptly responding to every query we had during our stay, and taking us back to the port at the end of our vacation). You will need some kind of transportation to explore the island, but you can easily walk (and it's a beautiful walk) to the very centre of Skopelos town from the villa (despite the fact that the villa sits thankfully in a very quiet hill right behind the centre). You can walk to all supermarkets and restaurants (through a secret path behind the house), if you do not mind a little hill ascent on the way back. Kostas even helped us with restaurant reservations and with arranging a boat trip. Just incredible! I cannot recommend Villa Aloupi more wholeheartedly. In fact I am slightly hesitant to make this precious secret too public! I feel fortunate to have found Villa Aloupi and to have met Kostas. I will definitely return soon!

The perfect retreat - Skopelos
From collecting us at the ferry terminal to sadly dropping us off a week later, Kostas, owner of this idyllic villa couldn't have been more welcoming. We have travelled around the world and can honestly say we have never before stayed in a place where the photos and description were so accurate. The villa, grounds, amenities and all the little thoughtful touches made our week one of the best breaks ever. We will certainly go back - in fact if it was for sale, we would buy it tomorrow!
Thank you
