I highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was a complete European breakfast with cold cuts/meats, cheese, eggs, breads and treats. The wait staff at breakfast and at the roof top restaurant was exceptional. They were so understanding as we were an extended family of 11 with different allergy needs as well as babies ages 3 months to 2 years. The rooftop pool was just the thing you needed after walking/touring around in Athens. BUT, the most exceptional part was the views from the roof! You could see the Parthenon and Lycabettus Hill while eating you dinner or just hanging out. The cleaning staff was so helpful in setting up cribs and helping when I lost an earring.

Chambres pas très chères mais très basiques. L'accueil dépend fortement de la personne. Certaines sont très agréable d'autre... beaucoup moins ! Piscinette sur le toit sympathique

Petit déjeuner pas terrible, fenêtres qui ferment mal, lits mou. Roof top qui ferme très tôt (19h30 me semble-t-il)

Panorama del bar all’ultimo piano, ottima pulizia, piscina all’ultimo piano, struttura dotata di tutti i servizi necessari, colazione buona e variegata, staff cordiale e disponibile, vicino alla zona turistica

Piscina poco pulita verso sera, qualità del cibo del ristorante interno non eccellente, vie attorno all’hotel poco raccomandabili ma comunque vicino alla zona turistica

There seems to be lots of beggars and homeless around but I think that is Athens in general People say be careful about pickpockets but we didn’t get harassed or anything

Hotel/Zimmer top, Lage Flop

Ansich kann man nichts negatives über die Unterkunft. Ich war alleine in einem Doppelzimmer, es gab ein großes Bad und es war alles sehr sauber.

Das Hotel liegt zwar ansich gut, da es nicht weit zur Stadt, aber die Umgebung in der es liegt wirkt sehr zwielichtig. Ich alleine als Frau habe ich mich gerade abends sehr unwohl gefühlt und bin dadurch immer sehr früh ins Hotel zurückgekommen und war nie länger als 8 Uhr unterwegs, was gerade in Athen natürlich schade ist.

Staff were exceptional Facilities provided by the hotel were excellent

Regrettably the surrounding and neighbouring area have deteriorated badly. We felt unsafe in the areas around the hotel.

The hotel it is old, poor, the rooms are very dirty. The price it's a fair one, the most beautiful thing is the view from the rooftoop and the pool.

The pool on the top, and the room. AC work’s perfectly. We slept well. We have been for 4 nights with a 3 years old kid. I don’t recommended a visit to acropolis with a kid, it was to hot, and it takes time to get up on 35-40 c. But it was not a big deal. The kid like every other kid, to many questions on that temperature. Red cross gave few bottles of cold water to everyone before entering Acropolis. AMAZING To many homeless people in Athens, crackheads, but they didn’t bother me.

Long weekend in Athens

Was a very lovely stay in Athens. Close to all main attractions and proximity to several metro stations, so it’s easy to navigate. The room was bright and warm with the exceptional view to the city. The roof top bar has great wine and 360 view to Athens. Really loved the place. Thank you.

Lovely staff, small but comfy room and no roof top access.

Staff were lovely and the bed was very comfy. That really helped. It is close to a train station and is a nice coffee shop that sells sandwiches and drinks which is a five minute walk.

Make sure when you book, contact Dorian Inn to double-check if there is any work being done. When we came there was no access to the rooftop pool/bar as it was under construction. I wish the owners of this hotel let us know this explicitly when booking as that was the main attraction to why I chose this hotel. Also, we traveled via Moped so we didn't walk around the area a lot. We parked the Moped at the corner of the hotel and that was safe. However, the corner connected to a street that lots of men would use wasn't safe for a woman. Luckily I had my partner and he was there if I got lots of stares. I feel if it's two young female travelers just be extra cautious. If you are a young south asian traveler like myself, be aware that you will get lots of south asian men walking past staring at you, so ensure you are not along and don't use that corner.
