About this house rental

Stylishly updated 3 bedroom/3 bathroom Sun Valley home that backs up to the open hillside. Only a five-minute drive to River Run Lift and Dollar Mountain for skiing or Ketchum and Sun Valley for entertainment/dining. The home is just steps away from the bike path that connects you to Elkhorn, Sun Valley, Ketchum, and Hailey. There is also a bus stop (wintertime) two minutes away where you can catch the free bus to town and the ski lifts. The mountain out our backyard is popular for back-country skiers who use skins to hike up for untouched powder.

Entire home was recently updated with new furnishings. Home has an updated kitchen with high-end appliances, open living room with large cozy couch, fireplace and large flat screen TV. Enjoy the large private backyard with bocce court overlooking the hillside. On the main floor are the master bedroom with king bed and attached bathroom along with a guest room with a queen bed adjacent to a full-size bathroom. On the second floor there’s a large bedroom with full-size bunk bed, sleeper chair and TV for the kids and an attached bathroom. Private hot tub with mountain views is right out the back door. The attached garage will keep your car and toys nicely sheltered.

In the summer, enjoy the spacious backyard with lots of room to relax in hammocks, play games on the grass (corn hole boards available) or try out the bocce ball court. In the winter the hill in the backyard is great for sledding or for the adventurous skier, put your skins on and get some great runs down the mountain directly behind the home.

Guests have seasonal (summertime) access to the Elk Horn community amenities (two pools, hot tub / spa, tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, basketball, etc.) which is a short bike ride from the home.

For your convenience the home is equipped with a washer and dryer along with Youtube TV (80+ network/cable channels) and high speed Internet.

There are two portable computer desks, 2 monitors plus wireless keyboard/mouse are available so you can set up your remote office anywhere in the house.

One dog is welcome for an additional fee after approval from the owner.

Clean, well appointed, great open dining/ living room, annex kitchen. We used the garden mostly in the evenings as it was too hot during the day. We were right on the bike path which made it easy to use al of our bicycles allo around SV and Elkhorn.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peter’s house. Very well stocked kitchen, hot tub with a beautiful view, comfortable beds, and plenty of room. Peter was fast to respond to questions. We appreciated the plowing and shoveling service when it snowed. And the garage was a real bonus! Would not hesitate to book again.

This was the perfect property for our stay in Sun Valley. Well equipped for time and home, cooking, hanging out in the yard and in the hot tub, and perfectly located for outings throughout sun valley. We hope to be back again!

The owner is super responsive, the location is convenient yet private with great views from the master of the hills behind the home. We’ve been here twice, and have found it to be a great place for our family. Quick access to the bike path, easy walk/drive/bike ride into town and access to the Elkhorn pools.

We’ve stayed at a few different nightly rental properties around Sun Valley and this was our favorite. Great location. Great layout. Just a short drive to the ski slopes and restaurants, but in a quiet spot with beautiful views out the back. Loved it. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed at this lovely home while my husband worked online and kids did school online. The house was perfect! We got lucky with snow and the kids had a blast playing in the snow and building a snowman. Our golden retriever loved it too! Would definitely stay here again.

This house is warm, well equipped and very comfortable . Nicely decorated - perfect for a family . The temps were in the 90’s and the house was hot during the day . That’s the only negative . It’s normal for homes in the mountains not to have AC and it’s rare that they have 90 degree weather . Thank goodness we weren’t around much during the day - bc it was very hot inside - especially the 2nd floor bedroom . The bike path is right there . Nice bike ride into town . The owner was very nice to deal with .

Our main requirements for any rentals now days is accessibility and comfort for my husband who needs a walker at all times. Therefore my request was "universal bathroom facility for handicapped". The shower was walk-in, but too small. The toilet was too low and room was too small. We had to remove the door for him to get in.

We loved staying at this place. It truly had everything we needed, and dealing with owner Peter was a pleasure. The back patio was a great place to hang out in a beautiful setting. The kitchen had all the bells and whistles needed. And the main living space was very comfortable. No complaints at all, and we expect to be back next summer.

Our stay here was great. The house and yard were beautiful and having the cool mountain air was a bonus. Peter was very responsive to our needs. Would have been great to have the hot tub up and running, but did not detour from our vacation Would highly recommend this property

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of space, extremely clean, convenient proximity to both Sun Valley and Ketchum and plenty of amenities including soft bedding, a fantastic backyard with a gorgeous view and grill, bluetooth speakers, fully stocked kitchen and even shampoo and soap in the showers. And, of course, the membership to the club/pool was a huge score for our three kids ... we went every day in between all of our other activities. Peter was always responsive, gave us very good advice on where to go and made everything so easy. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Wow, what an amazing house and location! The house was even better than the pictures. It was contemporary, yet warm and cozy. The upstairs bedroom was a great escape for the kids with their own tv and couch and the master bedroom suite was inviting with walls of windows overlooking the mountains in the backyard. The kitchen and family room made it easy to stay in and relax after skiing. It was so nice to have a garage to load and unload our skis and the 5 minute drive to the mountain was great! Peter was a great host and very accommodating. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

We loved this house! Could not have chosen a better place to extend our stay in Sun Valley. The house was impeccable and had all the amenities we would need. Great hikes right out the backyard and Baldy and Dollar mountain only a few minute drive away. Highly recommend...we will definitely stay here again!
