My second visit here. Love this little chalet! Beautiful location & easily walkable to Sandown with buses running regularly.
The only downside this time was the weather
Someone a few chalets down (older man) constantly smoking cannabis which stank 😞

Quiet location within the park which is a short walk to fantastic family beach.
The main bedroom is small...very little room round the double bed.

The wild life was amazing , if you love bird watching, fox cubs, rabbits and butterflies. Shower worked well once you found the right setting for you. Welcome basket was helpful. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Great walks around , and wonderful sandy beach close by.
My dog not being allowed to be left in the property. I do understand , but made it hard doing a food shop, my dog was not used to travelling in a car and then being tied outside a shop.

Lovely location. Easy parking. Big enough for myself and three children (aged 8, 9 and 12). I shared the double room with the eldest and the younger two shared the bunk beds. There was a good amount of pots, pans, utensils etc and we found the collection of leaflets very useful. We had everything we needed for our stay.
The kids said they thought the TV was a bit small for watching a film on.

The property is ideally located for walking to the local beach and amenities. There is lots to do within walking distance. The rest of the island is easily accessible until car or local bus.
The property has everything needed for a family to enjoy a comfortable stay.

The quiet location, decking and outside space was great. Home from home, everything you could want/need and more during our stay. Location brilliant for days out.
The only thing were the bed mattresses. Too hard, couldn't really get used to them

It was self catering and we ate out every day and had the odd cereals before we left
The leaning was an issue as I had to report to david ,we found food mess down the side of the table and also cobwebs next to the unit by the table ,and the main thing was in the granddaughters room there was a wet wipe with poo on it left in one of the draws

Location close to car parking area. Easily accessable with terrace area have mobility issues at times. Hosts were easy to access by phone with call back or response to texts. Deposit was refunded promptly upon return home.
We had a restful stay park was not too busy when we booked. Great base from which to access the beach and coastal path. Close to local town with good convenience stores. Well situated to drive to other parts of the island. with clear safety advice regarding entry and exit to Sandown caravan park. Highlighted how not to cross lanes with oncoming traffic.
Welcome pack with tea coffee milk jam and cookies was thoughtful. Appreciated the nautical theme and the touch activated side lights in main bedroom .Slept well beds were comfortable and bedding was smart and clean. Beds were made up in preparation for our stay. Smart window blinds appreciated as adds to the privacy factor.
Would definitely consider returning to this location hopefully in the near future. Very peaceful with local wildlife including bunnies and crows. Interesting light features dotted about visible come nightfall adding to the ambience.
Premises very clean throughout. Fridge needed turning up on arrival as was on low so took a while to reach temperature. This would be problematic in the hotter months perhaps an oversight. There appeared to be a milk spillage in fridge which we cleaned difficult to see until putting items inside. Oven door was slightly grubby but otherwise worked perfectly together with the microwave. Toaster accomadates larger slices of bread for optimum pop up. Like all toasters best to turn down temperature until best toasting time is established!?!
