Perfect weekend get away with nice value for money ratio

Fast and easy check-in, parking spot directly in front of the hotel (payment only from May until September), just around the corner of "Zona pedonale", cozy but spacious room, perfect for families with two separate sleeping rooms, both with a direct door to the bathroom, big beds with additional pillows, heating/air conditioning worked perfectly fine, broad breakfast selection (even a wide range of savory options, gluten-free, non-diary, vegan)

Rooms are badly sound-proofed, even during low season the neighboring sounds (voices, shake up of furniture) kept you awake. Might be an even bigger issue during the summer months. A towel rack with drying function in the bathroom would be nice - especially in winter it's really freezing when stepping out of the shower.

Poor

Hotel offer is very low for extremely high price. Very small room with view on the city, average furniture (barely 3*). No welcome water, or anything in mini bar, no coffee machine in the room. We had to pay sunbeds 40€ at the hotel beach (or 20€ after 18h) plus beach towels 5€ each, just for the rent, and 5€ each time we want to change for clean ones. I am shocked. The pool also looks very poor and sad. Internet is very poor. They also charge their own parking 20€ per day. No comment….very inhospitable. We expected much more for 250-380€ per night.

perfect if you want to live by the beach!

Super nice placement - almost ON the beach and also very close to the Main Street, but still quiet and nice. the breakfast is top!

very warm and nice.

the hotel is well positioned. in the city centre. a dedicated parking is available. the breakfast is complete and delicious.

I’m the same street very close to the hotel there is the rubbish collection point. very early in the morning the collection takes place. @6.10am ta big lorry collected the glass bins.. I let you imagine the sound of a big bin full of glasses thrown into a collection basket. a different way to early wake up. anyway this is not related to the hotel and its management.

To offer everyone, who desire rest!

The staff is very friendly, we were very satisfied with all of the services. In the hotel prevailed cleanness, the cleaning lady on our floor was very precise and conscientious, the hotel was prepared completely for the COVID-19 situation. Besides the location of the accommodation is perfect too, we could approach everything fast. All in all we had a great time in Hotel Athena and we can offer to anyone, who desire rest in friendly atmosphere.
