About this apartment rental
A cozy room with a queen-sized bed and it's own private bath at When Pigs Fly Inn at the historic Frank A. Moss House, circa 1902. You'll be a block from the water and three blocks from Washington's Downtown Harbor District and waterfront. Park your car and never get in it again til you leave. Everything you'd want to do is within walking distance. Quaint shops, restaurants, and the waterfront await you. There's also a beautiful (and rare) estuarium one of only a handful on the east coast. You can walk there and learn about the eco-system where salt water meets freshwater as the ocean comes inland (or is it, as the river goes out to sea?) Come find out! Also, we have a cat, Milo. As friendly as he can be.

Betty is a great host and her place is like a home away from home . Second time staying here and we are looking for some dates in the near future to return. Love the Bisbee area!!!

Although we cut our stay short because of weather we enjoyed our brief time in Washington and our stay at When Pigs Fly Inn. It was very pleasant and Jeff was a most gracious host (Linda was out of town so we missed her). It was a great experience in a quaint historic house. Downtown Washington by the waterfront is a lovely revitalized town with interesting shops and plenty places to eat...it's all within a few blocks of the Inn.
If you're in the area you should give it a try.

We loved our stay. We were in for the holidays visiting family and we could not have found a better place for our quick trip. It was warm and inviting like a home but with the privacy of a hotel. We stayed in the Green Room and it was decorated so nice with an antique and historic touch. It’s close to everything and we enjoyed the waterfront downtown. The hosts Jeff and Linda were very friendly and informative. We just can’t say enough good things about our stay. We will be back! -Traci & John

Jeff and Linda Provided a very comfortable paradise. There was a coffee bar near our rooms, some breakfast bars and cheese and crackers to hold one over till dinner.
Alll residents during my stay were happy to engage in conversation, toucan become fast friends. The Inn is within walking distance of downtown easily. As well one can walk the waterfront and catch the morning or evening breeze and sunset

I don’t want to share this gem…
I worry that writing a fabulous review will reveal this gem to more folks and then not be available when I want to come stay again. But, it does indeed deserve a fabulous review. So cute and charming and in the perfect location. You won’t be disappointed if you book a room at this inn.

Perfect weekend get a way
Jeff and his wife were very inviting and communication from arrival to departure couldn't have been easier. The room had everything we needed and was clean. The house is 2 very short blocks to downtown where there is one of the best deep fried hot dogs joints. Also there are plenty of eating options just make sure to verify hours and make reservations if possible. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful
My wife and I stayed at this property for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Jeff and Linda are super hosts and are always "there" should you need anything (but give you space and privacy). Our room was extremely comfortable and the Inn is in a great location (close proximity to downtown and waterfront). I loved the porch swing on the veranda of this beautiful old house...spent some time relaxing there every night. Also, the coffee / tea/ refreshment center was definitely appreciated and utilized. I strongly recommend this Inn and the expert innkeepers to anyone considering a trip to Washington NC.

Why Haven't we been here BEFORE!?!?
Beautiful town with lovely people and a most impressive Inn. We came on a quasi business/leisure visit and couldn't have picked a more lovely place to spend a few days. The courtesy water and snacks at the coffee/tea bar were a pleasant bonus. Wishing I could go back tomorrow.

Very cute little inn
The room was exactly what we needed for the night. We are buying a house in town and wanted to stay in the neighborhood to get a feel for the town and explore a bit. I would highly recommend the inn for anyone coming to the area.

Great place to stay!
Great place to spend a weekend. Definitely walking distance to downtown. During our stay there was major construction on Main St, but the walk on the water front is beautiful. Would recommend staying here if you're headed to Washington.

Wedding weekend getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Little Washington and our stay at the When Pigs Fly Inn. We were in town for a wedding and to our delight the Inn was directly across the street from the historic Washington Methodist Church,
the wedding site. The Inn proprietors were friendly and helpful, yet allowed us our privacy to go and come as we wanted. The room was comfortable and allowed us to relax and since there was no TV in the room, we disengaged from the world for a couple of days. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay!!
