The reception staff
A/c leaked over bag, was noisy and not very efficient. Scrambled eggs for breakfast were stone cold. Bathroom smelt heavily bleach and the room did too. Light in room flickered. Curtain rail came off wall. No bed side lights. Handle came off drawer. There was a fridge door in drawer.

Fantastic big room. Tour agency at the reception with discounts to guests. Very friendly and helpful staff. Laundry service available. Every evening I was asked which breakfast would I like next morning and what time. And every morning it was there just as ordered, with brewed coffee.
The fridge in the room went also off when I exited and took the key with me. So I had to leave the keychain only in the socket.

Firist i asked to change the amount of dates from 3 to 2 nights. Asked same day as booking. Never got an awnser.
After missing my flight i couldnt make it at all. Requested to cancel. They ignored my request. I would have bin fine with them declining the request, but ignoring it is not ok to me.

Spacious and calm rooms. Nice staff. Good location.

Location is down an unpaved street and away from main road traffic. As other reviewers have noted, the roosters crow and not just at dawn. Staff is efficient. Pre order your breakfast and time.
They respected my wish for a quiet room which was very kind!
Communication about where to catch the van at the airport could be better. Not everyone has a sim card for the country and it would have been helpful to know, before arrival a) where to wait for the van: (answer: outside on the middle strip), b) able to communicate not thru booking but directly using Whatsapp (& using the free wifi of the airport) upon arrival and c) that there were other people who were being picked up.
It wasn't clear to me in the property/room description that the bathroom and shower didn't have a divider and to exercise a little caution so as not to wet the entire bathroom. This is fairly common in many Asian countries but would have appreciated a heads up in the property description. Appreciated the personal pack (small soap, shampoo packet , tooth brush and toothpaste) since there was no soap/shampoo in the dispenser unit .

Good location and friendly staff. They are also a travel booking company so they helped us book our trips and our bus to el nido. Rooms are also spacious, clean and comfortable.

Really nice staff, unlimited coffee, cheap beers, free water top up
We paid for breakfast which really was not good and tv- we'd actually booked because we fancied a day in bed watching old movies but picture quality was so poor we couldn't watch anything seemed to be an issue in every room.

Great location, hotel was less then 10 min from airport. The staff was kind and the owner even greeted and talked with us and was very accommodating.
The lights in one of our rooms were flickering.

Quiet location, friendly staff, nice garden into the property, tasty breakfast although plain, helpful tour desk on spot, near the airport with coplimentary airport transfer
Puerto Princessa is an ugly city, with lots of noise and traffic

Staff was usually helpful though confused and forgetful...
Room cleaning was bad.
Staff was overheard bad-mouthing me and my girlfriend.
Dirty towels and not enough of them. Dirty towel on bathroom floor when we arrived. Most towels had brown spots!!!
Ant's in the room all the time. Ant nest with ants crawling from floor to ceiling 24/7.
Had to buy my own toilet paper.
Very noisy. Other guests, chickens (roosters) and angry dogs kept us awake most nights. No sound isolation at all.
Very dirty surroundings. Muddy, stinking dirt street and so much garbage and pollution.
Their car rental partner rented us a very dangerous car. When it was raining and dark it was impossible to see anything out of the dented, scrathed, old front window. Whiskers made it worse. My most dangourous, crazy night drive ever. Car also came 1 hour later than we ordered. We had to postpone plans and skip others since we could barely drive at night.
Was served wrong breakfast and waiting up to 30 min for breakfast to be served, even we were the only ones there. Table's were dirty and so was glasses, forks, spoons and knives.
Ended up checking out early and left for another hotel which was a very significant upgrade - for the same price.

Kind and helpful staff, close distance to the airport. Beds were firm and comfortable. Breakfast was 150php and prepared fresh and quickly when we woke up. Rooms were clean and tidy, air conditioner was great. Rooms also had coffee, toothbrush, shampoo etc.
Rooms can be noisy in the morning, a lot of roosters nearby if you are a light sleeper.

Location is central with restaurants and shops in walking distance. Friendly owner and nice garden setting.
Very basic room with old furniture. It was clean enough but I didn’t like the strong smell. to me it smelt of old body odour covered by chemicals which seemed to be largely emanating from a dirty old sofa in the room. I don’t recommend the breakfast.

Rooms are clean and the staff is very kind.
The summary on Booking.com states they offer a free airport shuttle but this is not true. You can book a paid car transport and we tried to do that but they never responded to our messages. We paid for a taxi (which cost less).
The breakfast is ok. Although I asked with no bread twice and was still served bread (I don’t like that it just went to waste). Room was not cleaned until we checked out.
We booked the shuttle van to El Nido through the hotel, they said it would be 5-6 hours. We left at 9am and arrived at 4:30pm! Our driver made unnecessary stops randomly and appeared to be sick. He spoke no English and it was never clear when had to get off. A lovely couple who was bilingual helped us get off at the right spot.

I highly recommend this hotel to all those who like a homely atmosphere. Here you will meet the owner and his family, they are very nice and open to guests. They will help you reserve anything you want. excursions, journeys, flights, etc. Price-quality ratio 10. Location 10.
