Awesome small town charm

Fun bar/restaurant and lodging, small town with lots of charm!! Chef Ryan helped us out with our heating in our room, he was knowledgeable about the surroundings and provided great recommendations to us in our adventures ahead. He's a great Chef and person!! Thank you!!

The room was ok for being in a remote area in South Australia.

The pub have good meals, great laundry for guesses to use.

The stairs going into the room were a bit insecure, the TV did not work and no internet connection in the room.

it was quiet clean and close to where we wanted to go in the Flinders Ranges

Won’t recommend the rooms to my friends and family

The staff we met at the reception was very friendly and professional that’s the only thing we liked about the whole stay.

No breakfast was provided. the power was turned off on both room middle of the night and never switched on until we checked out at 10AM. No one answered the phone at the night and in the morning when we rang to enquire about power being not there on both double cabins we hired. Only a couple of towels left at the cabins and soap were not provided in all bathrooms

Good and I will return. The Tavern, pub was a bright venue with good food, staff, good everything

I took my own breakfast. Cabin was comfortable and fine

The cabin was fine, except I couldn't get the TV to work and there were no printed instructions. The air conditioner worked but very very noisy. There was no tea towel so I couldn't dry the dishes.

value for money comfortable and a good base for exploring nearby places.

the location was great for our holiday. parking outside your door. Meals available at the facility if you wanted. surprised to have a microwave in the room.

the air conditioner was very noisy especially at night but glad to have it to keep room warm. no cleaning service in the 3 nights ok for bed and towels but no equipment for washing teacups and plates etc despite kettle, toaster and microwave in the room.

too expensive, bed like a rock but staff and food excellent

staff were helpful and friendly

room dirty, bed was like a rock no couch, old miners room. family room was just two of the same rooms with the door unlocked, not worth the money, get charged $25 extra if you leave the room dirty yet we couldn’t find a broom or brush, pretty pricey for what it was

Sadly it did not live up to it's name of being a 'Resort'. However it was inexpensive

The central bistro served good standard food without significant delay. The geographical location of the town. Despite other observations the place was clean

The rather tired worker's cabin was nothing like the room pictured at the time of booking. The steps up to the cabin plus the path from the parking were difficult with luggage. The decor in the cabin was depressing, (brown, cream walls and dark green bedding). There were no easy chairs. The carpet was patched with non-matching pieces. There was no wifi except in the bistro (ie the main building which was not within walking distance)

Unit was very clean

Our disappointment was , lack of directions / signage - not knowing where to go to get keys. Showers were cold , both of us really needed a hot shower after a day of travelling and there was no hot water.
