We were welcomed by Anthony and shown up to our room. There was a bowl of delicious fresh fruit awaiting us. Anthony pointed out the route we could follow for a walk up the hill into nearby woods.
The excellent breakfast was presented according to our orders. There was a wide variety on offer.
Easy to miss the turn into the drive from the A413 because of the distracting HS2 notices.

Anthony and Felicity were lovely hosts. Breakfast was ordered the night before and freshly cooked. This is a small b&b of just 2 rooms in beautiful surroundings.

Nice garden & big room
Old fashioned furniture, felt like I was visiting parents. Man was very regimented & needed to know what time I was coming in at night! He proceeded to say to me & I quote “maybe travel lodge do later breakfasts but he doesn’t!) I thought that was very rude!!
Never stayed in travel lodge , what’s he insinuating ?
My friend was trying to get in door with keys he’d given her and although he saw her struggling, he pointed to where she was going wrong, instead of just opening it, he was literally the other side of it and it was glass so he could see her?!
Breakfast finishes at 9am!!!

Very pleasant welcome from our host, who introduced himself and spoke about the area. Showed us our room and pointed out a couple things applicable to the room, gave us the breakfast menu, keys to the front door and left us to get settled. We made good use of the tea and coffee provided in the room and also a very welcome fruit bowl. We left to go to a family party and had no problems accessing the property later that evening. A good nights sleep followed by a wonderful breakfast all cooked freshly by our host Anthony. Had the most enjoyable time there and plan to return for a few nights so as to explore the surrounding area, hopefully before not too long.

Beds were very comfortable and the shower is modern and well pressured. Breakfast is ordered the evening before and was very satisfying indeed. Home-cooked jam and marmalade were a welcome addition. Anthony and Felicity were very welcoming and friendly.
Eventhough the property is alongside a fairly busy A road, the road noise wasn't an issue.

You chose what you would like for breakfast the night before and everything was on the table as requested. Breakfast was very good and the host was very attentive and friendly. Very large bedroom, bathrobes provided. Very large private shower room down the corridor (not the usual setup but was acceptable).
Toiletries in shower room consisted of shower gel and shampoo combined (2 in 1 for men). As a female I would have preferred to have separate shampoo and shower gel (just a minor point).

We were impressed with the age of this property and the very large comfortable room (the twin bed room). The room overlooked a lovely garden and fields. Our hosts were very kind and we liked the homely feel with the opportunity to meet the two dogs and one cat who lived in the owner's part of this house. We could sit out in the garden. We felt like part of the family. I had asked in advance for a later breakfast on the Saturday morning - which must have upset our hosts' timetable for the day - but they were very gracious and accommodating.
The room had an ensuite which was good for our purposes, but the shower had limited head room and the space around the toilet was a little cramped. However, there was a bigger bathroom just along the corridor which I am sure could have been used. This cottage is just off a fast country road (60 mph), so you do get some road noise (which quietens overnight). I don't think that you can easily walk to any eateries - but they are a short drive away.

My host Anthony was extremely attentive, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious - especially the scrambled eggs from the property's own chickens!

Anthony was most welcoming despite our unexpectedly early arrival. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a fresh modern feel. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options available. The accommodation is situated less than 10mins drive from RAF Halton where we were visiting for our son's passing out parade. There is also a great pub less than 1/2 mile along the road for some delicious food! Had a nice walk up into the wood at the back which is situated on the Chiltern way.

Breakfast was excellent. Individualised and on time. The rooms were well furnished and of a good size. The surroundings of fields and a wooded ridge were refreshing. The instructions for how to find the cottage were precise and most helpful.

Friendly owners and very accommodating the room whilst it said was an on suite you had to cross the landing to the bathroom however it was not shared so no issues. Breakfast was fantastic with the eggs from their own hens and home made jam for the toast spot on.

Great hosts. Great place to stay. Ample parking. Loved the extra touches such as fresh milk for the room, for tea/coffee, and some fresh fruit.
Will be my first choice to stay in the area when I next need to.

Obliging hosts, we have been given detailed travel directions prior to our arrival. Varied breakfast, served at a previously agreed time, with some delicious home grown/made products. Spacious twin room & a well appointed double room; in both rooms there were grapes and sweets awaiting us. Nice touch!
The double bed was too narrow (and too short) for two adults and the mattress offered no support (this is a shame because the room was otherwise bright and well appointed, with excellent bathroom facilities across the corridor). Side bed tables were also taller than the mattress, squeezed between the wall and the door frame, so we had to be mindful of sharp corners when getting in/out of bed.

Friendliness of hosts. Nice bedroom, nice breakfast, although my wife could not eat it the first morning because she was ill. Triple glazing on bedroom window so you could not hear the traffic noise.
The weather was wet and windy, but that was not the hosts fault. Difficult to find in the dark, but that was just one of those things. There were cob webs hanging from the ceiling to the light in the stairs and dust and muck on the extractor in the shower room.
