Beautiful property
It is a bit off of the camino trail between 5 and 6km. A taxi service would be nice.
8.0
Excellent facilities with a fully working kitchen. Tastefully decorated matching the rustic charm of the property.
These are just observations not intended as criticism. An information pack would be of a great benefit showing the local shop and opening times. We understand there is one bar/restaurant in the village. Instructions of how to get there and opening times would be excellent. As I speak Spanish I was able to ask locals for directions. Kitchen would benefit having an electric kettle, together with instructions on how to operate the electric hob.

Excellent facilities, good Wifi, good location and a brilliant host.

This is probably the nicest house in the town. Two living rooms and a kitchen. Very quiet.
No camino stamp. The person who checked us in was not local and told us the store next door would open later but it didn't. Get a stamp and leave it in the kitchen.

The whole house is excellent with balcony on the top, a very good kitchen and dining room. The access via key safe is excellent organized. Nice bathroom as well.
There is even a small place for shopping in Oliva but NO RESTAURANT !
The instructions for the access should come much earlier. If you are walking at the camino you don't have access to e-mail all the time. Godd was that the instructions are coming in both Spanish and English

The House is amazing, really beautiful and nice.
The location is perfect to visit Plasencia and the Ambroz Valley.
The hosts answer quick and were helpful.
We'd like to have a kettle.
The other users were noisy and the soundproofing wasn't efficient.

quirky. finished to high standard.

a room in a beautifully restore house
The reception. We arrive at arranges time and was meet by a very aggressive women who told us to go away. one phone call to the number provided all was resolved. The woman came out again and showed us to our room. total confusion all around. NOT A GOOD IMPRESSION WHEN WE HAD DONE EVERYTHING THAT WAD ASKED AND PAYMENT WAS ALREADY TAKEN DAYS BEFORE!!! It also was the only place they did not ask Igor our passports??

Everything a pilgrim could want! Lovely house with kitchen and great rooms. The owner prepared the room earlier for me because it was raining.

Everything BUT being below Room 4
There are FOUR letting rooms. Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are on the 1st floor.
Room 4 is on the 2nd floor - DIRECTLY OVER Room 3 - which was the room we were allocated.
Having driven 400 miles that day, I wanted to sleep, unfortunately the people in Room 4 did not allow us to. The lady was wearing fashionable ankle boots and wore them whilst she paced around her room. Our ceiling being made from paper meant we heard the clonk clonk clonk until late, plus we could hear quite clearly each time they used the toilet.
So, if you want a decent night sleep choose Rooms 1, 2 or 4. They have nobody above them. I am sure this would not bother younger people, but if you are like me and have difficulty getting off to sleep i suggest when booking to specify you do NOT want Room 3.
I am very angry as I had to do another 420 miles the next day and felt tired. Trying to stay awake on the motorway the following day was difficult.
Remember, being Spain, rooms are not carpeted. We had laminate flooring in Room 3 so i assume they had similar upstairs.
Only other points - to wash up there was no hot water in the kitchen and no drying up cloth. I don't know if this is normal for the establishment?
The village is very quiet and i was able to park directly outside our building.
All in all, the bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Shower was fine and we sat in the large dining room for dinner and breakfast (our own food).
There is a coffee machine there which takes pods, which can be purchased in the small village food shop 3 doors away. However, knowing that you seldom find a kettle in Spain, we had brought ours with us from the UK + T bags etc and bought FRESH milk en-route - bliss!

Very beautiful.
Owner did not have time to make it easy to check in. Did it all through WhatsApp. It was NOT EASY, we had to call him. So, he sent a real human to get us in.

The house is beautiful, very clean, gorgeous room, and very good price. The kitchen is also impressive. Beautiful scenery all around. Would recommend for pilgrims despite the conduct of the manager, just make sure you follow the rules or she gets very upset and overreacts.
The behaviour of the manager who lives next door, very rude
