Superb

The view is exceptional. So quiet and perfect for relaxation.

I didn't like the door handle wich were very noisy. I think something about that is to be done.

Overall I think it is over priced for what it is.

Room was very nice with beautiful views. Staff was very nice and friendly! Food was good but not worth the price I would say.

Room/bed didn't seem that clean. There is no was to communicate to reception unless you go down all the stairs and into the next building which is not very helpful when one has to book meals.

Lovely stay in a beautiful landscape

The location is gorgeous, although important to note that it’s fairly difficult to reach - it’s preferable to have an SUV, especially during wintertime. The accommodation is beautiful - big beautiful yard, the rooms are also very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and the food they prepared was delicious - they also were keen to accommodate vegetarian needs.

Having your meals there can be quite pricey, but comfortable if you don’t want to leave the location. The shower cabin was broken - a piece of the panel was missing so water would get all over the place. There is also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Maybe a smart TV would be a nice addition for the rooms.

Highly recommend for couples, families or even singles. It's great all around.

It was an amazing stay. the staff was very responsive and eager to help. The food was delicious. And the view was just amazing. We will certainly return for another stay, this time hopefully longer.

I couldn't find anything that i could say bothered me. everything was great.

Everything was just as we expected

Cleanliness Rich breakfast, excellent and tasty dinner, beautiful view of the mountains Nice, cheerful and friendly staff, willing to help We will be happy to return!

The road from Zarnesti exit to the guesthouse, but this is not the property's fault

A very pleasant stay , as always .There are some years since I keep returning to Samedru and is always a very nice exper

Comfortable rooms , clean and very nice stuff. Simple and tasty food.

A bit darker in the room would be better.There are curtains but in some rooms still in the morning the light comes in easily, as well as in the night .

Great stay, exceptional views and lovely accomodation

Great location, exceptional view. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is welcoming, attentive and quick to help. Food was also good, especially the breakfast and the deserts! Would come again!

Perfect mountain escape

A great panorama view from the hotel, perfect location for mountain hiking. Nice breakfasts, well equipped rooms. Cute kittens on the terrace. Very friendly and helpful manager.

The WiFi works only in shared areas of the hotel. Recommend getting a 4x4 if accessing the hotel by car.

Good place

View, food, staff, position, quiet place and friendly cat. I dont say road is bad because if you want a good view and chill atmosphere you need to walk for it. I bet on the winter is top. Great for families with kids.

All good, i was scared a bit by the dog, dont keep sticks in hands, but he is friendly.

Exceptional

Amazing atmosphere and views. Super clean. Food is fresh and most is sourced from the village. Perfect place to go if you like hiking, outdoors and relaxing with great views.

Perfect retreat

Big comfortable rooms, very warm, including a fully working fireplace. There was a second room upstairs were I am sure the young ones will want to spend time, though you need to be careful since stairs are a bit steep. There is also a sauna available on the premises, but not always operational. If you are interested ask beforehand. The weather was great, it was snowing like in fairy tales and they have their own slope for sledding.

When booking directly with the owner you will also have meals included in the room rate, so take care when comparing prices. Nevertheless, you will not have too many options to chose from. They will usually prepare 3 types of meals per day witch are rather good, but if you are looking for something more diversified there are no alternative options around.

Awesome views, room, food & people :) Can't wait to come again in the summer and in the winter :) Highly recomend.
