Very nice beach and surrounding. Nice and helpful people. Super quiet place.
The restaurant is quite good with normal prices.
The room smelled humidity ; it might be a good idea to avoid the budget room.
Toilets are with a bucket; not a problem for me, but don't expect more.

‘Secret’ location made the beach resort feel very special
if you’re looking for luxury, this is not the place for you, but if you’re prepared to rough it, the idyllic location makes up for the rustic buildings.

It was lovely to stay here. Where would you get such an authentic longhouse stay at the beach ? Everything is very tasteful, well organized. The room in longhouse is very cozy with good comfortable bed. All is very clean. Owner communicates well with guests via whatsapp.
Beach and water was clean, had no jellyfishes in January.
From my impressions , I would really very much recommend the longhouse room and I felt very happy with my choice, NOT the tents, that.might be too narrow and hot and a bit a problem at heavy rain, which is very common in this tropical climate.
There is a restaurant for dinner, and food was excellent. They also sell cold drinks including beer and one can order breakfast. That is convenient, as it is not recommended to drive by car over the small narrow path back to the city.
Bathroom : many complained here about that. It was simple but good. Of course, no hot water. Shower cubicle had sandy floor, but a chair for your clothes and it was clean. Toilets were clean, too. People often expect much comfort but everything must be very cheap. This does usually not work in beach locations. Those who cannot survive without a private top bath should book one of the upmarket resorts for which they have to pay triple or more as price.
Long steep narrow path on the last 500 meters down to the resort. But one does not need a 4wd car.
No TV and no hotel wifi... but isn't that good to read a book and switch off electronic devices ? But mobile and internet coverage from the air is ok.
Breakfast a bit weak. I had somewhat oily fried noodles and they were served in a plastic box. And coffee half cold and not tasty.

The location is the only good thing this property has to go on.
Bathrooms are not clean. Do not book tent on the beach if you want a comfortable stay. Everything wet and smells damp. If you want to stay in this area go to bigfin divers.

we arrived it started raining heavely so the staff

Nice location, with beach in a secluded bay.
Have booked a 2 pax beach cabin, then received a message from the property that it wasn't available. No explanation given. Maybe it was to accommodate local or direct booking. Have been proposed a triple-room in the long house, which doesn't provide the same privacy.
Lots of signage giving "do & don't" instructions, including "Respect the other guests, keep the noise down after 10pm"... Unfortunately, looks like it doesn't apply to all the guests, as we had to endure loud music until 2am.

location is nice.
there were notices everywhere telling guests what to do and what not to do. there was a price list for each item in the room, in case such items went missing or broken.
the ‘resort’ is ran for the convenience of the staff not the guests. I.e when meals are served 18.00 latest and whole putting th food in Dropbox of me I was told if I wanted to buy anything from the shop, I had to do it now as the shop was. losing!

After seeing KK’s beaches (including islands), this beach resort felt really nice and clean. We booked a “cabin” but it was basically a tent. Surprisingly cozy and cool in the evening. No many guests at the time of our stay. It was peaceful. We rented a kayak for a day and visited a nearby island. Good place to snorkeling. When it was low tide, we could walk along the shore. The food was rather simple, but reasonably priced. A small shop at the resort was convenient when we wanted some snacks and cold beers. No mosquitoes when we stayed.
No toilet papers (luckily we had our own). They seem to sell at the shop though...slightly salty shower was a bit wired. Watch out the coconut trees. Coconuts fell without warning time to time. Better to bring own shampoo.
