Pratique et agréable.

Great host and lovely clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was traditional and excellent.

The triangles past often, starting at 4.23am! In Costa Rica they sound the horn at every crossing, so you can hear it coming well beforehand.

Clean, comfortable rooms in good location.

Good location close to central San Jose with a spotless bathroom.

The walls were a bit thin so bring earplugs! But the hostel was quiet in general.

Quiet Hostel. Clean.

IMPORTANT: Breakfast is not served in the restaurant on Sunday. The breakfast was served in the hostel which was terrible. Extremely small; tiny amount of pinto Gallo, one egg scrambled, literally the smallest slice of tomato I've ever had. That's it. If you pay in local currency, you will get a bad exchange rate from the owner.

Place’s location and cleanliness is okay, but needs some upgrades.

Location is close to the touristic parts of the city, safer looking neighborhood. Breakfast at the restaurant was quite good.

There was a small window on top of our door. BUT, there was no glass on it! We heard everything that is going on in the hostel; people talking, the TV etc, which was very inconvenient. I don’t have a light sleep, but one night I woke up at 2:30 am to hear someone talking on the phone… Moreover, our bathroom door was eaten by termites, every day we had small dust from the door on the floor. Also beware, the tram passes in front of the building, you hear the honk of it, but it wasn’t a problem for me.

The wonderful breakfast and welcoming staff

- The train that runs just beneath the hostel every half hours starting at 2am (with noisy and very loud honking) - The corridor light just in front of the transparent curtains, which is turned on easily by each passenger during the night - The outloud conversation between the staff and newcomers at 1am (thin walls)

I enjoyed my stay, I was able to relax in a nice, clean place. I would recommend.

Great price, the location is very near downtown but quiet. Getting there was easy, The room was quiet and clean. Wifi worked good, I loved they had books all around that you can read. Breakfast was good. Flor and restaurant staff were very nice.

The bed had not secure boards, so they dropped a couple of times, they should be secured; And there was a little struggle to check in, because there was no one at reception or answering calls, that should definitely improve.

Alright room but wasn’t convinced it was worth the price

Welcoming host, and good location.

Private room next to the kitchen was loud till about 21:00 and then again from 06:30 with people cooking and chatting which was a bit annoying. Room was fairly cold with cold shower. Cleanliness could have been better with some hairs of some type around. We had a free breakfast booked with our reservation but no mention or evidence of it in the morning before we needed to shoot for a bus.
