Excellent host, beautiful setting and value for money

I really enjoyed the idyllic setting, the quiet and it's excellent position to Harrogate and RHS Harlow Carr.

Quiet, peaceful, well equipped property, exceeded our expectations.

Secure covered parking. Well furnished and comfortable seating. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Friendly owner.

Lovely private, beautifully furnished flatlet

It was obviously a home from home, really comfortable but not too prissy to relax in... Kate the owner was an abdo delight, and lovely to meet...

Oo the stairs inside. But I never like stairs, and I should have investigated further before booking. Rooky mistake...

Very enjoyable stay, lovely host

Location ideal. Not too far from a local pub and was a nice walk into Harrogate approx 45 mins

location was ideal for traveling into Harrogate and around Yorkshire lovely and peaceful friendly and helpful hosts, homely accommodation will definitely be staying here again would highly recommend this accommodation and location

Great weekend away

A lovely place to stay to access Harrogate and the dales. We had a really great, restful weekend. Lovely, thoughtful touches abounded and the barn is comfortable, stylish and spacious.

Lovely property with a warm welcome

Great rural location, good sized extremely comfortable accommodation and lovely hosts.

An eye mask is useful if you struggle with light from early sunrise, as large velux window above the bed has no covering.

A hidden gem near Harrogate

What a lovely apartment in a picturesque location, we loved everything about our stay. Kate was friendly and welcoming and even the family cats came out to welcome us! The accommodation had everything we needed as a home away from home, including a full kitchen. A DVD player and DVDs was a nice touch, as were the flowers and provisions (including wine and chocolates!). We really didn't want to leave.

Welcoming and friendly hosts, accommodation very clean and comfortable, excellent location, very rural and quiet yet close to Harrogate. Very thoughtful of the hosts to leave some essentials for us on arrival

Should have booked for at least the week, instead of a weekend.

Really Thankful the owners were home upon arrival, as wasn't sure exactly where the accommodation was, a wee bit confusing which building was the accommodation as there is (no sign saying Thrashing Barn), where to enter & park. The bed is truly fantastic - Best Sleep in ages. Never heard any car traffic as this is set well away from the main road. This is most definitely in the country, there are sheep close by, and the next door neighbours have dogs, horses & at least one really cute Pig.... that you can see and hear....We are very appreciative that this is a Dog Friendly accommodation - Will Definitely come back if they will have us again !!

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The courtyard is shared with the owners, and not sure if we were allowed to use the enclosed green area leading from the kitchen/dinning area, therefore it is not exactly 'private' with saying that, I never saw the owners when I used the outside courtyard area on the Saturday as they were away.

Great stay in a peaceful location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Threshing Barn, the cottage was immaculately presented and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Kate was a superb host, very friendly and the little touches of chocolates and juice were appreciated. Harrogate was close enough for a slow stroll and the dog friendly pub nearby was also good. We'd happily stay here again and recommend to others.

Wonderful place to unwind & relax.

This place is right in the countryside surrounded by fields of sheep & horses but only a short car journey into Harrogate town centre there`s a lovely garden to sit & relax in which has the sun on it all day, plenty of room in the accommodation lovely decor fresh flowers too, our hosts Kate & Andrew live next to the the Threshing Barn & are a very lovely couple nothing too much trouble & very kind, a perfect place to chill out.

Definitely worth a stay...beautiful!

The space and location were great and the facilities were brilliant. The host was lovely and very easy going. The kitchen was well equipped and we would love to go in summer so we could sit in the lovely garden.

Delightful hosts and lovely apartment

Nice quiet rural location but Harrogate easily accessible. and pleasant pub within walking distance. Self catering but tea and coffee and chocolate all supplied as well as a bottle of chilled fizz - Prosecco.

The weather but hey this is Yorkshire and we are softy southerners.

Wonderful

Exceptional hosts, beautiful accommodation. Andrew and Kate were welcoming, generous and helpful. The accommodation was clean, warm, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

There was nothing I could find I didn't like or wasn't provided for however had there been I'm sure Kate and Andrew would have done everything they could to provide and accommodate.

Everthing 😍 The Threshing Barn was perfect for our New Year/my Birthday celebrations 🎉🍾🥂 Kate made us feel at home. All the extra little touches - fresh flowers, prosecco, chocolates, biscuits, orange juice and milk. Decor was beautiful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Exceptional stay in a beautiful location with a great host.

Our expectations in relation to our stay were greatly exceeded. From check in to check out, we couldn't have asked for more. The accommodation is beautiful, the host was welcoming and left milk, fruit juice, choclates and fresh flowers. The location is amazing. Can't wait to stay again Kate. Thank you.

Excellent accommodation at a very good price

Breakfast wasn't included but the host left milk and orange juice. There were fresh flowers, chocolates and a bottle of wine.

Excellent stay, very cosy.

Everything, the property was excellently furnished. Lots of little touches that made the stay an excellent one. Hosts were very pleasant and there was nothing that we needed but I am sure if we did it would have been catered for.

Visited my daughter , the barn was big enough that they could visit us definitely b going again

Everything , little choc sweets everywhere , fresh flowers and bottle of wine in the fridge , excellent hosts total luxury peace and quiet
