About this house rental
A road that goes through the woods of oak and old chestnut trees, in a crossed by man but nature still wild, the 'Azienda Agricola Il Nido di Luca Ciancianaini is a place and a quiet space and quiet, to spend an holiday away from the rhythms and bustle of modernity. It 'a big newly renovated house on top of a hill. The magnificent location is enhanced by the large swimming pool located in front of the house, from where you can enjoy an amazing view over the natural amphitheater of the imposing Apuan Alps. Away from traffic, the property is bordered on one side with a small old village, and the other is completely surrounded by woods. To the warm and relaxing atmosphere of the place, it combines a relaxation area consists of a fitness room, sauna and sensory tub. The entire property is fenced and the access regulated by the closed gate. Around the house the activities in the farm for the production of some local produce (vegetables, jams oil) made with passion, respecting natural and environmentally friendly techniques rhythms. Situated between the natural park of the Apuan Alps and the National Park of 'Apennine, the property is about 35 km from the sea. The location is strategic to visit the area of 5 Terre but also the hinterland of Tuscany, in the areas of Garfagnana and Lunigiana: wilds, but rich in historical sights (castles) landscape (streams rivers, narrow Giaredo, lakes, mountain) and unforgettable flavors. Easily reached by own means also Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena and many other Tuscan destinations not to be missed. Lastly, the Aulla station is about 15 km away, and can be considered a good alternative for traveling to other tourist centers.

Il Nido offers wonderful views in a very private setting. It is a 12 minute drive to Fivizzano so you’ll want to plan your groceries for the stay. There are hiking trails accessible right at the entrance gate. The host is very accommodating. If want a peaceful and relaxing stay this is a great choice.

Séjour inoubliable
Nous avons passés 15 jours en famille dans ce havre de paix. Nous sommes tombés littéralement amoureux de ce cadre tellement magnifique et plus particulièrement de la Ligurie et de la Toscane. Que dire sur Luca qui est une personne extrêmement serviable, gentil, de bon conseil et discret. Nous recommandons à 100% cette location.

Wonderful Month at "il Nido"!
Just spent the month of June at "il Nido. We had a wonderful trip. The location is truly spectacular!. Our host Luca was a terrific host. You hardly know he is there...in our case we enjoyed speaking with him and he provided lots of information on sites around Fivizzano. He had prepared food for us when we arrived and he brought food to us on 2 other occasions that was really tasty and a nice treat. I had a few issues with tolls and the rental car and he provided help to me. I can not say enough about how nice and generous the host is for this property. We were really sad when we had to leave...such a wonderful place. I highly recommend this property. We are from the country in Tennessee in the United States, and this location while being in Italy, really became home to us.

Einmaliges Naturerlebnis
Die Liegenschaft ist wunderbar gelegen in der hügeligen Bergwelt der Toskana. Natur, Ruhe und Erholung pur mit sensationeller Sicht ab der Terrasse.
Ein sehr grosses Grundstück, vollständig umzäunt, ein Eldorado für unser beiden Hunde (Australian Shepherd). Auf dem Grundstück leben im Weitern 2 Esel und Panda der Hund von Luca, in einem separaten Gehege.
Luca der Eigentümer ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, lebt im gleichen Haus, ist aber sehr diskret und kaum spürbar.
Seine wertvollen Tipps waren haben uns einen guten Überblick über die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Badestrände rund um La Spezia geben.
Es war für uns ein unglaublich schönes Erlaubnis und wir werden mit Sicherheit widerkommen

Ein super Aufenthalt
Es war ein super schöner Urlaub. Luca ist so herzlich und kümmert sich um seine Gäste - einfach Klasse. Das Haus liegt auf einer Anhöhe mit einem echt genialen Blick auf die Berge. Der mega große Pool war für uns (5 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) einfach Klasse. Für die Kinder haben wir bei der Abreise Corona-Tests benötigt. Luca hat hier den Kontakt zu einer Apotheke hergestellt und uns Termine gebucht. Weiterhin hat er uns mit touristischen Informationen ausgestattet und am ersten Abend ein sehr gutes Willkommens-Abendessen gezaubert.
Diese Unterkunft können wir jedem empfehlen!!!

Schitterend huis
We hebben het geweldig gehad in dit schitterende huis. Het uitzicht is adembenemend en het zwembad groter dan wij verwacht hadden. Luca stond voor ons klaar wanneer wij hem nodig hadden en had hele goeie tips voor leuke eet tentjes in de buurt. Het huis zelf is oud en mooi, maar alles werkt erg goed. De plekken om buiten te zitten zijn heerlijk voor zomeravonden en ook om overdag in de schaduw door te brengen als het te warm is.
Wij hebben enorm genoten van dit huis.

Geweldig uitzicht!
Uitzicht is fabelachtig mooi! Huis is verouderd, maar was netjes. Onze gastheer Luca was enorm vriendelijk en stond altijd voor ons klaar bij vragen of mankementen. Onze kinderen hebben genoten van het gezelschap van zijn twee honden Panda en Fifi. Tot ziens Luca!

Wunderschöne Lage, traumhafter Pool, toller Gastgeber, altes Haus
Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen und 2 kleinen Kindern für 8 Tage zu Gast bei Luca und hatten einen wirklich tollen Urlaub. Das Haus liegt wunderschön auf einer Bergkuppe und da wir die Tage quasi komplett auf der Terasse und am Pool verbracht haben, konnten wir das Panorama aus vollen Zügen geniessen. Mit dem Pool ist es ist wirklich der beste Teil dieses Ferienhauses.
Das Haus selbst ist leider ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen und viel Möbelstücke und Ecken würden eine Überholung vertragen, insbesondere eines der Betten.
Die Wohnung drinnen ist sehr dunkel und nicht wirklich einladend, was allerdings überhaupt nicht schlimm ist, wenn das Wetter mitspielt und man sich (wie wir) den ganzen Tag draussen aufhalten kann. Allerdings fanden wir die Einrichtung für den Hochsaison-Preis des Objektes nicht angemessen (es könnten zum Beispiel mehr Geschirr geben, Salatbesteck oder Espressotassen).
Das Haus liegt sehr abgeschieden und ist nur über kleinste Strassen steil berghoch zu erreichen. Uns hat das überhaupt nicht gestórt und wir sind die Strecke jeden Tag mit dem Mountainbike gefahren. Wenn man aber viele Unternehmungen plant, dann könnte die Fahrerei anstrengend werden.
Der Vermieter, Luca, wohnt im unteren Teil des Hauses, verhält sich aber total diskret. Luca war mit Abstand der herzlichste und hilfreichste Gastgeber, den wir je hatten. Ob Wäsche waschen, einkaufen, Autoreparatur oder Wanderempfehlung...Luca hat bei allem geholfen!
In Summe also ein gelungener Urlaub für uns und wir würden nochmal wieder kommen.

Wunderschöner Rückzugsort
Wir wurden sehr nett mit Pasta, Käse, Brot und Wein empfangen. Luca hat uns vorab schon mit vielen Informationen zur Umgebung und zu Ausflugszielen versorgt und war auch in der Zeit sehr unkompliziert und rasch per WhatsApp erreichbar und hat bei Bedarf sofort geholfen. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist unschlagbar und die separate Küche mit riesigem Esstisch ist sehr besonders. Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt!

Entspannter Urlaub
Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und ein Hund. Es war für uns ein sehr entspannter und ruhiger Urlaub, genau das was wir wollten. Die Lage des Hauses war sehr schön. Luca war ein sehr angenehmer Vermieter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Vacances de rêve au milieu des montagnes !
Nous avons réservé 15 jours en famille dans ce chalet à la vue imprenable à 360° sur les montagnes et ça a été au delà de nos espérances. Chalet spacieux, vue de rêve et un propriétaire (Luca) adorable et aux petits soins avec ses locataires. Les enfants ont pu profiter de la piscine (de taille considérable!) et la proximité des cinque terres, de Pise ou Florence permet de belles visites. Bref, nous avions envie de rester !

Das schönste Landhaus der Toskana
Ein traumhafter Urlaub ging leider zu Ende..
Aber für Sie, die sich gerade das Objekt anschauen bietet sich eine große Gelegenheit!
Wir waren zu viert in diesem wunderschönen Haus, vier junge Erwachsene im alter von 20- 23 Jahren. Es ist ein älteres Landhaus mit genügend Platz für bis zu 10 Personen. Die Zimmer an sich sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet.
Die offene Küche mit großem Essbereich ist neu gemacht und hat jegliche Ausstattung die man sich wünschen kann!
Die Highlights jedoch sind ganz klar der gigantische Pool und die einzigartige Lage des Anwesens. Die Sauna und die Möglichkeit auf dem Laufband mit Überragender Aussicht zu laufen sind da nur die Kirschen auf der Sahnetorte!!
Luca, der Besitzer des Hauses, ist ein von Grund auf netter und gelassener Mensch. Er wohnt sehr zurückhaltend im unteren Teil des Hauses und ist für Fragen und Probleme jeglicher Art immer zur Stelle. Auch bei Ausflügen in die nähere Umgebung ist er auf jeden Fall der Richtige Ansprechpartner.
Auch wenn es abends mal etwas länger lauter war, hatte er kein Problem damit. Im Gegenteil, er freute sich das wir uns in seinem Haus so wohl fühlten.
Ich denke für uns wird das wohl eine jährliche Sache werden!!

Séjour parfait, hôte charmant et vue incroyable
Nous avons passé 5 jours très agréable avec 4 enfants en bas âge. Le gîte est très bien entretenu et aménagé, secure avec des petits, la vue est incroyable et le calme au rendez-vous. Lucas est un hôte accueillant, attentif et très sympathique. Plein de bons conseils. Nous espérons revenir un jour 😊

Not up to our expectations
Luca is an amazing host, extremely helpful, and he made us feel very welcome.
Luca cooked a meal ready for our arrival, which was very tasty - even tho we arrived an hour later than anticipated. Much appreciated and still very edible .
The property is quite remote and the track leading to the house is narrow, winding and steep. We hired a 7 seater Ford Tourneo (Diesel), it really struggled getting up the track and you’re best off in a 4x4.
The treadmill, in the gym, is dangerous - the stop button doesn't function!!
The bicycles are not roadworthy they are rusty with flat tyres.
There is a stray dog that Luca has adopted, she is well behaved but has taken over some of the furniture and can get under your feet.

Allow plenty time when driving around as the roads are winding and fairly narrow.
The accommodation is a bit tired and requires some updating – curtain poles falling off the wall, shower brackets broken.
The shower water pressure is low and would intermittently stop flowing.
The beds very hard and uncomfortable and creaky.
Cooking facilities are limited, with lack of utensils and no storage cupboards for holding food, also the dishwasher doesn’t work correctly
The swimming pool is great. However the pool ladder is a bit tricky to negotiate.

Wunderschöner und erholsamer Urlaub
Obwohl das großzügige Haus schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist, hat es doch seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Die Ruhe und die grandiose, unglaubliche und wunderschöne Aussicht sind faszinierend und berühren die Seele. Jeder findet hier seinen Platz, sei es am Pool, auf der gemütlichen Terrasse oder im Haus. Die rustikale Küche im Wintergarten bietet auch genügend Platz, um schon beim Kochen ein Glas Wein zu genießen. Der Pool ist mit seiner Größe und Lage nicht nur zum Relaxen, sondern auch zum sportlichen Schwimmen geeignet. Dabei noch die beeindruckenden Berge im Hintergrund zu sehen, ist Erholung pur.
Luca ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber, hält sich sehr im Hintergrund, ist aber bei Fragen immer sofort zur Stelle und hilft gerne weiter.
Wer dazu noch Tiere liebt, besonders wie unsere Tochter Hunde, der findet in Panda, Lucas Hund, einen treuen und liebevollen Spielgefährten. Natürlich nur, wenn man das möchte, ansonsten ist dieser bei Luca untergebracht und kommt nicht in den Gästebereich. Wir hatten als Familie mit 3 Kindern einen wunderschönen Urlaub und der Abschied ist uns allen sehr schwer gefallen.
Ein herzliches Danke an Luca für die tolle Zeit, wir hatten viel Spaß und haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Da kommt man gerne wieder :-)

Sehr empfehlenswert für Leute die Ruhe und Erholung suchen
Das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Haus entspricht in vollem Umfang der Beschreibung auf der Homepage. Wir haben nicht nur die gigantische Aussicht, den sehr großen Pool und die Gegend um Mazolla genießen können, sondern auch die sehr herzliche Gastfreundschaft und Freundlichkeit des Vermieters Luca. Obwohl Luca ebenfalls mit im Haus wohnt, bemerkt man ihn zu keiner Zeit, steht aber bei Fragen und Problemen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Danke dafür - Luca.

Een geweldige woning in een hele mooie omgeving met een hele lieve behulpzame eigenaar
Wij zijn in juni 2018 ruim 2 weken geweest bij deze woning. En hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad. Mooie ruime woning en fijne leefruimte met keuken. Zwembad was grandioos, groter dan verwacht en werd elke dag schoongemaakt. Je zit echt in de natuur met de 2 ezels in de weide. Super uitzicht en heel rustig. Luca de eigenaar is erg op de achtergrond zodat je behoorlijk privé hebt, maar als je hem nodig hebt staat hij direct altijd voor je klaar. Deze woning is echt een aanrader. En het dorpje Fivizzano is ook erg gezellig.

Séjour exceptionnel !!
Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve dans ce magnifique chalet et dans un décor féerique durant une semaine. Toutes les conditions étaient réunies pour se dépayser et apprécier cette région non envahie par le tourisme. Luca nous a reçus divinement bien avec un repas que nous lui avions commandé le jour de notre arrivée. Outre ses talents culinaires, il est dotée d une gentillesse naturelle et d un sens aigu de l hospitalité. Il a su nous donner d excellents conseils sur les visites à effectuer dans la région . Le village à quelques minutes en voiture est très sympathique et les habitants aussi. Nous avons hâte de retourner dans ce lieu magique. Encore un grand merci à Luca

Een Italiaanse droom. Hoog op de berg ligt een verborgen parel; alles wat je nodig hebt op vakantie
Fantastisch verblijf gehad met mijn gezin in Mazzola. Prachtig door zijn eenvoud en als in een film waan je je in het echte Italiaanse leven. Mede door de eigenaar Luca die streekgerchten voor je kan koken in zijn traditionele houtoven in de oude schuur. Het zwembad was nog groter en mooier dan we verwacht hadden en de veranda is heerlijk om iedere avond te genieten van het uitzicht en Italiaanse wijn, kaas en vleeswaren. De weg erheen was de eerste dagen beetje eng, maar dat wende en al snel en zoefden we de berg af om de omgeving te verkennen. De locatie is perfect voor dagtrips naar Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre, enzovoort. Maar ook de directe omgeving is prachtig. Er zijn mooie autoritten te maken door de bergen en prachtige Toscaanse dorpjes. Een echte aanrader.

Beautiful and relaxing stay !!
We didn’t imagine our vacation in this authentic Italian property would be so relaxing and beautiful. This is the preferred place for everybody, especially if you’re looking for a quiet, secluded location with a cheerful host. After many visits in Italy, this was by far the best, prettiest and emotionally rich one. Thanks so much to Luca and all who supported him for this atmosphere, the culinary delights, pleasure, support and impressive lesson of Italian hospitality, which is in fact existing and priceless. The house furnished with love and care is large enough for two families and has enough space for privacy. The breathtaking view makes it difficult to leave the estate to explore the interesting surrounding countryside. The large and always maintained pool assures quick cooling. The animals (donkey, goats, etc.) highlight the natural character of the accommodation. The manicured backyard offers enough space for diversified leisure activities.
We were happy to spend our vacation in the house and we wish all the best to Luca and his support team. We would like to spend our vacation here once again in the future.

A real get away from it all
We stayed here for five days in March and it was really what we needed. A real get away from it all retreat hidden in the mountains, great to relax, unwind and appreciate the important things in life. The accommodation was beautifully maintained, clean and met all of our needs. The views from the dining room were stunning, as were the sunsets that we watched most nights with a glass of Prosecco. Luca the owner suggested us typical places where to buy a very good local food and wine . The atmosphere was relaxed , a very magical place....
Our first visit to this part of Italy and we thoroughly recommend a stay here. Thank you.

We had a great time in this lovely house. The house itself is spacious inside, quiet and very welcoming. There is also lots of room outside with an incredible view. The pool is really big and well cared , the spa is nice and really enjoyable. The farm was a great entertainment for our 3 children. The surrounding area is rich with walking paths and the trip to 5 terre is a breeze. Also visit the city of Lucca and Florence is very easy: we did it by train from Aulla. Luca the owner is very friendly and cordial. We will be back!
