Classic décor with a Nautical Flair! This fully furnished Townhome is beautifully decorated with many custom features, and includes high speed internet (300 Mbps), and WiFi. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath town-home boathouse on Carnegie Bay is perfectly located.
Within 5 mins you could be boating on the St. Lawrence River, swimming, fishing, touring Boldt Castle, Singer Castle or Rock Island Lighthouse, or seeing the Islands. In walking distance is the village of Alexandria Bay where you'll find many shops, restaurants small beach and park, and boat tours available.
The kitchen is fully equipped, plenty of cupboards and storage, beautiful Granite counters and a large breakfast bar with seating for 5. The open floor plan into the living room is equipped with an internet ready flat-screen TV, comfy Leather seating and a wall of windows with sliding door leading out to the balcony.
The balcony overlooks Carnegie Bay and leads to the St. Lawrence River. It is a great place to have your coffee at sunrise while watching the heron fly by, families of geese swimming or fish jumping!
All 3 bedrooms, have plush mattresses, lovely quilts, ample closets and dressers. The 2nd floor loft is open to a beautiful cupola with windows to see the fabulous stars at night and sun to greet you in the morning!! It has an internet-ready flat-screen TV.
The 3rd bedroom adjoins the loft, separated by pocket door for privacy. The a-frame roof and twin beds make this the kids favorite! The 1st floor bedroom is the queen master, with full closet and dresser, next to main bath with tub/shower.

We often boat on the St. Lawrence, particularly near the Massena, NY area. It was a fantastic experience; Michelle was an incredible host, the home was beautiful, and having a garage for the boat was an added bonus. The marina across the way was excellent, although the entrance was not well-marked. The town was crowded, but we drove to Watertown in the evening for some shopping, which was pleasant. The home had everything we needed and it was quiet to sleep.

Awesome experience. Villa is clean, comfortable, linens and towels are top notch. This was a great place for our family to call home while we were visiting the Thousand Islands. Boat garage was super convenient on quiet bay/marina. It’s just a quick walk or bike ride to Alexandria Bay shops and restaurants. The owner was so kind and helpful, made the rental process super smooth, she even contacted us to suggest activities for the rainy days. Couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience!

This location was absolutely perfect for our quick summer getaway. It is such a relief to open the door to a rental and find it that it matched and exceeded the description. Communication with owners was superb, even going out of their way to return left behind items.

We had a great stay in this unit. It was exactly as described. Clean and nicely maintained. This was our first time in the Thousand Islands area. Michelle was such a help suggesting restaurants and activities to do in the area. Very prompt responses to all my inquiries (I think I may have asked too many questions but she happily answered all!). Will come back again soon!

We stayed in unit 10 and this place was spotless! Great location...secluded and quiet but still very close to town. We had a great time and everything was provided (minus the food and beverages of course)! We didn't have a need to get in touch with Michelle because everything was seamless. However, prior to arriving she was very responsive to any questions we had. There were five of us (2 adults and 3 tween/teeanagers). The living room was tight but the kids were able to spread out into their own sleeping area when they needed space. We rented a boat for a day and getting in and out the the "boat garage" was easy. I would absolutely recommend this unit!

It had been many years since I was last at the 1000 islands and it didn't disappoint yet again. The property was well maintained and right on the water. The owner recommended a great restaurant as well as a place to rent a boat...everything went perfectly! We will becoming back!

The townhouse was great. We ended up I only having 4 people instead of 6 and that probably was a good thing. The 3rd bedroom would have been very tight for 2 more adults. I would definitely stay here again. Town was great, cute shops and everywhere we ate foot was delicious.

This place was very clean and made us feel very comfortable even during this crazy covid world! The interior decor was beautiful and even gave us ideas for back at home! The location was perfect and made boating with our new 24’ boat so easy. The marina was close and not busy allowing us to take our time with our new boat. Also, lots of space for trailer parking with an additional fee. All neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this place to anyone!

1000 Islands getaway
Having fished in the lakes of southern Ontario for many years, and not being able to cross the border this summer, I found this nice Condo to stay at, in Alexandria Bay, NY.
It was very clean and decorated beautifully. My pop and I mostly fished the St Lawrence, but headed to town for a few meals, and found the town quaint and charming. Lots of boaters, who are generally very friendly.
I will definitely come back. It’s quiet and comfortable, plus the fishing was excellent.
If you’re looking at staying in the area, I’d highly recommend this condo. Both thumbs up!

Birthday Week
We had a great 5 day stay at the Villas with our adult kids. The villa was absolutely adorable, spotless and comfortable. We cooked 3 meals and ate out two nights with our family of 6. The boathouse was perfect to store our boat the entire time. The boating was amazing ... highly recommend a gps. We fished and cruised daily. The area was very quiet and just outside Alex Bay. We would definitely stay again.

Unit was very comfortable and super clean. We loved that the kitchen was fully equipped and the washer/dryer was great to have. You’re close to town (walkable) and we loved having the boat garage for our rental. Perfect little getaway!

Good place, better with few changes
Pros:
Beautiful home. Kids loved fishing off balcony. Lots of dishes. Washing machine and dryer. Loft bed very comfortable. Good location. Response from owners quick and helpful.
Cons:
Upon arrival appeared clean. After a while noticed cob webs and lots of dust on hanging lights and by ceiling. Rug in living room needs a good ceaning. But overall pretty clean. Balcony is small but works...lots of cobwebs and dead bugs...could use a cleaning. AC was at 74 for a long while...took at least 24 hours to get to 70. No where to store non-perishable food. Needs new pans...all food stuck to it no matter how much spray and butter we used. Lots of tupperware but no tops that fit. View is not as pictured...was very unpleasant looking. Downstairs bed extremely uncomfortable...my back is killing me. Room with twin and pull out very small...my kids hit their heads when getting up and with trundle out no room left. No where to store clothes in that room either. Walk to town is not bad but not as close as details seemed to make it. About a mile away. Very dark by building and cannot use outside lights due to bugs. Bring a flashlight! Lots of stairs to carry up luggage and groceries. Wifi not good.
Overall a decent place to stay, just not for my large family.

Wonderful First Time Trip!!!
This was our first time using VRBO and our first trip to 1000 Islands. Michelle, the property manager, was so patient with us and recommended great things to do and places to dine. I couldn’t be more impressed with the communication. The property was perfect. Excellent furnishings and well stocked kitchen for cooking. It was great not having to tote linens and towels along - & what was at the property made you feel like you were in your own home!! Boat garage was great to have. The kids LOVED fishing off the deck!! You drop your line in and get a bite right away!! Even the turtles were fun to watch. Boat launch was right across from the property, making it easy to navigate. Great stay. Would definitely stay there again.
