There was blood on the sheets and the AC wasn’t working in our room.
1.5
We stayed 2 nights....bar and restaurant were awesome....the room was a disappointment....seemed old looking....was neat enough...just outdated fixtures etc...tiny bathroom for a King room....jacuzzi was nice...no microwave...

Pool was in a separate building and you had to walk outside to get to it. Weather would impact that situation. That fact was not mentioned in write up

Booked off season with a room with water view. If we wanted to look at a parking lot and marina with boats pulled for winter it was 170 US. We asked the nearly empty hotel to give us a room with clear water view. They charged an extra 95 US so I paid as water view was the only reason we stayed there. Very old, smelled of mold, room had dirty walls. Very disappointing.

Best checkin experience I have ever had. Great staff that cares

An amazing property with great sunset views. Perhaps in need of some updates.

The Jacuzzi didn’t work. The signage was bad. The site was a campus, but there’s no clear path for pedestrians to move between buildings or signage for the rates that were paying we would expect That the show would be included not an additional fee

The check in girl had a nasty attitude regarding our room not being ready for 2 hours past check in time

Property is showing its age and needs a facelift

We were charged $20 incidental charge for each room but there were no incidentals.

The room was nice, however the bathroom was out dated and the jetted tub didnt look like it was cleaned. The balcony needs new railings. The wood is deteriorating and needs to be replaced. The swimming pool was never vacuumed.
Did like the views from the hotel and it was in walking distance to the village.

Although the location is stunning, the hotel is in disrepair. There are many details that have been neglected from maintenance to housekeeping, all of which can easily be rectified for little money and a lot of needed effort. The housekeeping staff was rude and oblivious to the fact that customers can hear everything they say (none of which was nice) as we walked by on more than one occasion. There was what looked like blood on the lampshade that was shoved against the wall in an attempt to hide it. The office chair was peeling, the sitting chair was stained, the door to the balcony was moldy and covered in crushed bugs, and the balcony was rusty and covered with spiders. The view was amazing however once we looked past all that grossness. It is apparent that the owners need to be more hands on. This place could really be something with some TLC.

Front desk staff was average on check-in. Nothing to rave about. Checkout was better. This place was probably amazing 20 years ago but now it looks like it is just being milked for all its worth. Beds werent great, busted ceiling tile in the bathroom, pool room had rotting wood around edges and i fixed the hottub button to make the jets work. Despite this we still had a great stay...the place just needs a lot of work and someone to care about taking care of the customers instead of making top dollar...the cleaning staff however were incredibly nice and helpful when we asked for more pool towles and i was thankful for their cheerfulness...nicest cleaning staff i have ever met

Needs a table & 2 chairs for double room.
There was no microwave.

Convenient to the Main Street and Boldt Castle. The rooms were clean, but could use some upgrades. Would visit again.

Definitely outdated, but overall very clean. Staff was super helpful.

We went for a wedding .. stayed 3 nights. Entertainment on site .. live bands

First thing I walked in and had to kill a spider that was in a cob web. Then a bug was on the bed (not saying there were beg bugs.. I don't know) the room was outdated. The TV was old... Looked like you were watching old TV shows. The air unit brought in all the pot smokers fumes. We couldn't enjoy the patio because of all the pot smokers.

Great.

It’s a bit outdated but is a place to lay your head. Would probably stay there again.

Two restaurants shut down; room had a musty smell, bathroom could be updated. Won’t return for a second time.
2.0
Older place but comfortable and good enough for what we needed.
3.0
Nice view, rooms lacking quality

View of Boldt Castle and the river from our balcony. Though aged and tiny, the balcony delivered.

Great place. Our room was nice. The whirlpool was a bit old but overall worth the price because the place was very conveniently located and had multiple places to eat and get cocktails on site. Great staff as well. I really liked this place and would definitely stay again. Live music too. It's a few minutes walk to everything.

We had ants in our bathroom

if you are looking for a modern updated property, this is not for you and you probably won’t find one in Alex bay. Bonnie’s is an older motel that brings you close and beautiful views of the ST Lawrence and Boldt. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Don’t expect anything extravagant because that’s not what the motel offers. It was a fine trip and stay.

We had an okay stay here, the room was clean but very outdated and the shower was damaged. We found all property accommodations dated and tho the staff were kind, they were very understaffed and waits for meals were extremely long.

Facility is dated and tired. Staff very pleasant.

It was probably really nice at some point but, is in need of some upkeep.
Spiders everywhere.

room was old and smelly of dampness

We walked into the room & it smelled very musty. It was very small, so small that the chair that belonged to the desk was off to the side against the wall instead of under the desk. The doors did not have a second lock on them, such as a chain or bolt. When we checked in I asked if they we were on the River & was told not with the standard room that we booked. So, if you go there be sure to ask for a riverside room to be on the River. We went to one of the restaurants there and waited for over an hour for our food, which wasn’t the best. I had the sliders, which I asked to be well done, and they were rare. My husband had the chicken Caesar wrap and he said it was very dry, like there was barely any dressing on it. The only nice thing about it was the view. Not once while we were waiting did the waiter stop by to advise us of the hold up on our meal.

It was dated but clean. Had a little issue with spiders, but to be expected in that area.

The hotel is nice. The bathrooms just need to be updated.

Room and staff were good. Boaters that rent slips are a party crowd.
2.5
Hotel staff was very accommodating. Restaurant suggestions were great. Outdoor pool area was very clean and well maintained. Although the hotel is dated the room was very clean and comfortable.
1.5
Plus: comfortable bed and room
Cons: entered hotel with strong smell of cleaning products.
Hotel needs lots of TLC
Cement block walls in halls with no elevator which should be in details.
View of hotel was marina with rusted tin roof.
Would not return.
Hotel looks nothing like website

Quiet area. Light doesn’t work in shower. Switch didn’t work to turn off outside balcony light. Lots of spiders in the room.

A little far to walk to places to be visited in Alexandria Bay (dining, shopping, boat tours).
