Exceptional customer service - super kind and helpful staff who also helped us with excursions. Thoughtful touches throughout. Lovely food and pool. Wonderful location in jungle surroundings. We’re going to miss this place.
Tin roof accentuates sound of rainfall!

We LOVED our stay. The staff is phenomenal -- Rodel, Oscar, Blanca, Raina, Lyda, Ezekiel, Ronaldo, and everyone else, we SO enjoyed getting to know you, and your extraordinary hospitality, service, and warmth made us so sad to leave. (To the owner: your staff is amazing!! Give them all a raise!) The location on the beautiful river, remote enough to feel very secluded and "in the wild", yet close enough to town that it didn't take too long to drive to activities, is perfect. It's a eco-friendly, rustic-chic vibe that makes you feel like you're really living in the jungle... because you are! We visited a couple other nice hotels in the area during our stay and those visits only made us fall even more in love with Table Rock -- it was by far the best in terms of offering a comfortable, beautiful, unique, and authentic experience. The food was amazing, too (our compliments to the chef!) with a wide diversity of options and daily specials. We are vegetarian and the chef made sure we had vegetarian specials available, so we felt very well taken care of. (Plus, the produce tastes so fresh and good! Most of it sourced straight from the beautifully managed organic farm on their property!) We weren't sure if we would miss having A/C in our room but it ended up being perfect -- we were there during the hottest part of the year but we still used an extra blanket at night because the cool breeze of the jungle created a perfect temperature in our cabin. We also loved how intentional Table Rock is with sustainability -- they offered so many amenities and comfort, yet they do it in eco-friendly, nature-forward ways. The bed was super comfortable, the room was huge, the shower was gorgeous, and our balcony's view was incredible (we had a river-view cabin -- highly recommend). The salt water infinity pool was fantastic; sitting in it while drinking a margarita, listening to howler monkeys in the distance... perfection.
We loved everything! I suppose the only warning I would give to visitors is that you may want to bring earplugs as the jungle noises can get loud at night -- but they sell earplugs at the front desk, and that will be true for any jungle stay. We quickly got used to the sound of the jungle -- it started to feel like a soothing white noise machine.

The resort is amazing! Small and very detailed in it's jungle lodge design. Food was fantastic ... but the staff was really what makes this place more special!!!
Expensive, but worth it.

the staff!!!! the staff was fantastic. the rooms were beautiful. the food was incredible. they thought of every detail. plenty to do on site (pool, hiking trails, canoeing, tubing). we didn’t want to leave
a little far from San Ignacio (but that’s also a perk because it felt like an oasis) & a shuttle allowed us to easily go into town
