Great stay in gorgeous old farmhouse

I loved staying in this property so much. It is a really old farmhouse. It feels lovely inside. All the rooms are spacious. The view from the garden / house is stunning, and you are able to walk from the door into really beautiful countryside. There are sheep just next to the garden. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms so we all had our own en suite! The owner was so kind and left us fresh eggs from the farm as well as bread and butter and tea and milk.

The downstairs bathroom could do with updating.

Despite everything, we felt comfortable there, but only with a maximum of 4 people again.

Outstanding, quiet location, landing approaches to Gatwick Airport didn't bother us, and there was also a ban on night flights. The landlord family received us very friendly, we got fresh eggs and milk, which we didn't expect. Also during the stay with words and deeds to the side.

Having visited England a number of times we are very familiar with the local standards, however the bathrooms could use a makeover in time. We were there with 2 families with a total of 6 people. The children were in their teens. We only recommend this house for 4 people because the bathroom including the toilet on the ground floor can only be used to a limited extent because it is right next to the dining table. Sharing two bathrooms with 6 people proved to be a challenge. The access road to the property is not recommended for lowered sports cars. But we had a van and therefore no problems. The wifi was temporarily overloaded with 6 users

A lovely stay in the heart of the beautiful, unspoilt & quiet Kentish countryside.

Janey was very kind & provided farm fresh free range eggs, bread, cereal, butter & milk for breakfast, which was greatly appreciated. Janey was also very helpful with any query.

Exceptional

Set in idyllic surroundings, the house is really comfortable and well equipped. Spacious yet very cosy, a real home from home. The owner Janey makes sure you have everything you need. We really appreciated the breakfast essentials she left for us. Having three bathrooms with plentiful hot water was perfect for us getting ready for a family wedding in Penshurst. Can't fault it, and would love to return someday to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Thank you!

It felt like a home from home, without the builders. Our host made us feel relaxed and this helped us re-energise for when we returned to the building work at home.

Comfortable farm cottage in a peaceful location

We each had our own bathroom which was great. Lovely views from the bedrooms. Great walking and close to some nice villages and attractions. Janey is a fantastic host!

Could do with a slightly better pre-clean - oven and a few cobwebs here and there but Janey went out of her way to correct it

Comfy traditional home from home

Lovely peaceful traditional cottage packed full of all the things you might need as if you were at home. Shetland pony to goes out through the kitchen window lots of beds and space for us to have a family gathering. Janey our host was friendly and there if we needed her but otherwise we will have to make ourselves completely at home. Thanks Janey.

Instructions for the television in the lounge would have been useful but that might just be us who found it difficult. I didn’t really effect our stay; we played some boardgames anyway and there are televisions in every room.

Very good

The owners are wonderful very accommodating. The scenery and back garden is a lovely view. The cottage is rustic which make the experience that more nicer.

Be aware you will be confronted with spiders! Nothing else everything else was lovely.

Very homely and comfortable stay

The guest house is lovely, very homely and welcoming perfect for a weekend to spend with friends. It’s set in very pretty grounds and it exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend to stay at this guest house.

Lovely, quaint house that was very comfortable

Location was beautiful Host was excellent Breakfast was provided Comfortable beds Shetland ponies on site!

Some unwanted furry house guests kept us up a bit during the night, but I suppose we were on a farm
