Dog friendly, warm, helpful and welcoming staff.
My wife is sensitive to noise, so the open-plan restaurant can be too noisily when there is a lively crowd.

Lovely size room which great super size double bed. Great to be able to open the windows and have fresh air in the room, meant it was just the right temperature for us.
Took our dog with us and very accommodating for having your dog with you, just an extra £10 which is a lot less that some hotels charge you.
We have dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both meals were delicious. Really good for dietary requirements, my wife was very excited to be able to have a dairy free sticky toffee pudding.
Would very much stay again.

Very clean and bright room. The restaurant downstairs served good food. Perfect location for popping into town. Bar and restaurant staff were lovely.
The shower wasn't great, not much pressure. We didn't opt for breakfast as we felt it was a little expensive and there were plenty of nice options in town. Dinner was good but pricey

Disappointed by the bar as it was covered with dirty glasses.
