Fantastic location. Lovely breakfast however I also would have liked a cooked breakfast choice too . Wonderful hosts . I will be back another time if I am down that way . Thank you .

The owners were very pleasant and helpful.
The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Good quality bed and bed linen.
I was irritated to find that there was an extra charge for breakfast because we had booked with booking.com. £10 per person per day is an unpleasant surprise and certainly adds to the cost.

was a little pricey

I would never have booked a room that did not have an ensuite. A tiny bathroom across the hallway is not acceptable unless it is clearly stated in the information available.

Really lovely property, the room had everything I needed and the decor was lovely

A pearl in the heart of West Devon. Quietness, cleanliness and utterly magical views of Dartmoor. This is a must for all solo traveller looking for mental and psychological replenishment
Hardly anything. I was in heaven, just so beautiful and amazing. I truly would recommend it to anyone visiting Tavistock and traveling solo like myself

Great view from the Room, ideal for my inspiration as artist who like open air drawing. Maybe not the Room d'Ambassador but still a wonderful room with a "vue impronable sure le Dartmoor"
I can't remember, maybe there could be a hot breakfast option like scrambled egg. Maybe I didn t think about that in first place. Althought I am very happy

A warm welcome, beautiful decor and very lovely stay thank you. Check in online was easy, we managed to park outside.
We had a lovely breakfast delivered to our room. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Andy and his family and he whisked us off to our room taking up all of our luggage in one fall swoop. When we arrived at our room in the top floor we were floored at how lovely and spacious it was. The TV was huge, the bed was comfy, and the room was large. We loved our stay here. We had breakfast every morning and Andy brought it to us exactly on the minute that we asked for it. The place was also a five minute walk to the historic town centre and a stones throw by car to Dartmoor. We’d recommend this property and stay here again in a second!
Nothing, the place was perfect.

Beautiful home, warm welcome. Small touches made all the difference, coffee machine, Netflix on the TV etc. Couldn’t fault the place.
Nothing springs to mind.

Very comfortable room with excellent shower and facilities. I love a room where there is a coffee machine that makes a great coffee rather than sachets and this had one! A great choice.
There was nothing we didn’t like.

Beautifully decorated, with a soft bed, amazing rain forest shower. Could watch the TV from the bath in the mirror and TV was large.
Great to have a table with two seats and both a kettle and a coffee machine.
Very friendly hosts and location is very cabral but hotel is quiet and set back from the road. Fridge in wardrobe so very quiet.
Can control heating in your room with lovely sash windows that overlook park.
