Perfect house for our group. Plenty of space and beds for everyone. The courtyard was a nice spot for us to hangout too. And the fact that snacks and water was provided was great. Definitely would stay here again if we ever return to Pittsburgh

This is a great home for the family to gather. We were here for our daughter’s graduation and it was nice that we could all fit in one place together. The extra touches were much appreciated…. Girls Weekend
There were 7 of us met up to celebrate my 35th birthday. The decor is awesome awesome, and there was definitely plenty of room for us! It’s so cute, and I’ll definitely keep it in mind if I ever come up to Pittsburgh again. Not to far of a walk to a bunch of bars, restaurants, and shops.

Beautiful House!
We absolutely loved it! There were 6 of us girls away for the weekend and this was a beautiful house. Close to walk the main strip of Carson Street and we drove to the strip district for some shopping which was only 10 minutes away. Review parking policies! We were able to street park with no tickets thankfully. Also I found the best way to contact Eileen was calling her! Everything was amazing from the breakfast bar to the courtyard. It was amazing!

Best experience so far
Staying here was a great experience! Eileen was very kind, communicated with me perfectly and made everything very easy. It’s even bigger inside than I thought it would be; it’s very spacious. Everything was very clean and very organized. They have a breakfast bar in the dining room area with fruit/cereal/English muffins/keurig/juice/milk. Everything I needed, I could find easily. Walking to Carson street took maybe 5 minutes. The beds were very comfortable also. Overall, this was my best experience staying at a property.

The home and our host, Eileen, far exceeded expectations. So much attention to detail in this rental. The house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and larger than it appears in photos! Other reviews mentioned the coffee and snacks provided by the host, but this spread was beyond anything I have ever seen offered at a home rental. It was like staying at a luxurious B&B, but with an extra amenities package! There was coffee and tea, breakfast and snacks, and a fridge full of drinks. And the bathrooms were stocked with soaps and shampoo and even face masks and essential oils. Thank you so much Eileen for making our girls weekend special! We are city people and used to street parking, but future renters should know that the parking options available nearby are super easy, and there is even free parking a block and a half away. The neighborhood is super charming. You are close enough to Carson Street that you can walk to bars and restaurants, but the home is a few blocks away so you don't get all of the noise. You can also walk to a riverfront park, and there is a nice hike up the hill behind the house with lots of steps (great workout) and gorgeous views of the city!We managed to blow a fuse the first night there and Eileen responded the second we reached out and fixed it for us within minutes! I highly recommend this home. We definitely plan to return!

Charming Home
This place exceeded our expectations. The house was immaculate. The dining room was perfect for sharing meals and playing games. The rooms were charming with lots of character. Plenty of hot water for showers. Beautiful bathrooms and fluffy white towels. Nice comfortable sheets and pillows. A coffee bar with fruit, oatmeal and granola bars. Nice cookware. An interesting book collection. Awesome patio! We were sad to leave because everything was lovely. Walking distance to many restaurants. Eileen thought of everything- lots of little extras that will make you smile. We would go back in a heartbeat.

This gem of a house is perfect for a family or group stay in a great neighborhood. We actually had two families and there was plenty of room. Everything about this property is charming, right down to the decor. We arrived the day before Thanksgiving and were welcomed with holiday decorations outside and in, including a beautifully decorated tree!Eileen was super responsive both before and during our stay. There was an issue with the heat in the first floor bedroom and she immediately had a space heater dropped off. Everything described in the listing is spot on--the breakfast/coffee bar was wonderful. This place really feels like home. Don't know if the photos have been updated to include the renovated master bath, but it is beautiful. I have marked this property as a favorite and will definitely plan on staying here again. Thank you, Eileen, for being such a wonderful host. Kris

Diamond in the rough
Where do I begin...this house was beyond what I expected. The house was immaculate! The little touches of the breakfast bar, which included Keurig pods, cereal, biscotti, breakfast bars, fruit and also juice and milk, was perfect. The outdoor space was small but was definitely enough room for us (6 adults) and quite/private. Eileen, the property manager, was pleasant and accommodating for our slightly early check-in. Parking right outside the house was nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Eileen is a wonderful host; highly recommend her home!
Eileen's home is spacious, clean and very comfortable. We rented it for ourselves and our families (6 adults and a child in total) for commencement weekend and we were all very happy with the stay. The home has a lovely courtyard, and even though Eileen follows an annual schedule of opening and furnishing the space around memorial day weekend, she was very kind to bring furniture for us from another property of hers so that we could enjoy the courtyard and also hold a small get-together for friends and family. She even brought candles for us, helping create a beautiful ambience for the evening.
Eileen ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was very thoughtful to have the kitchen well-stocked with complimentary snacks and breakfast items. There were also plenty of towels and other bathroom essentials for all guests.
Communication with Eileen was very easy. She was quick to respond to any questions we had. And did so warmly.
We highly recommend Eileen and her home for a stay in Pittsburgh and look forward to being back ourselves!
Thank you, Eileen, for your hospitality!

Best place to stay in Pittsburgh
I recently stayed at this property for my bachelor party and this place has exceeded my expectations completely. The property was very well kept and super spacious to accommodate our entire group staying in the house. I had searched through many properties on AirBnB and Home Away (VRBO) and most of them were overly priced for not nearly as many benefits as this property. This was the best location to stay at in South Side to get all of the benefits of being very close to Carson street without being too close that would making parking impossible. I would 100% recommend booking your next stay in Pittsburgh with Eileen and this house.

Came to Pittsburgh for a game with group of friends. We fit very comfortably in the home without ever feeling cramped. Would absolutely rent again.

Terrific hospitality; great attention to detail
Five of us (2 adults, 3 teenagers) stayed in this historic home for two weekend nights. The house is clean and well appointed -- crisp sheets, fluffy towels, all the comforts of home. The terrific hospitality refers not only to the breakfast bar complete with cereals, granola bars, clementines, a Keurig machine with coffee, tea and hot cocoa, but also the ease of communication with and responsiveness from the owner/host when we ran into an issue on the night of our arrival. We felt welcomed and cared for like old friends. Note that the house can sleep many on the 2nd and 3rd floors, but the only bathroom is on the 1st floor, and the steps inside are quite steep to ascend/descend in the middle of the night.

Beautiful and comfortable location
We had a great stay in Pittsburgh and this location was perfect for my family. The house was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area which was much larger than I had imagined. The host was super quick and responsive to any questions, and very helpful. Additionally they offered a lovely breakfast bar with cereals, coffee, and tea. I would highly recommend this place and would certainly stay here again if returning to Pittsburgh.

Great Home in a Fun Location!
This historic home is charming and has lots of space! Our group of four stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a graduation at Carnegie Mellon University. It was an easy Uber ride to all the graduation activities. The home has all the amenities and was a wonderful place to have as a home base. Carson Street with lots of great restaurants and fun pubs is a short walk away, and a grocery store is also close to pick up a few essentials. Eileen was a charming and helpful host - she even offered to pick up a cake and decorations for my son's graduation! We found parking on the street to be easy and never had an issue with finding a spot. Thanks for a great visit!

Just what we were looking for
A group of friends stayed in this property for a baby shower weekend. It was a great home base for going to and from various events around the city. The complimentary breakfast bar with coffee, tea, fresh muffins and cereal was a thoughtful touch.

Great New Years Weekend
The property was exactly what we were looking for and we had an amazing time! The bedrooms were all amazing and were even better in person than in the pictures. It was decorated for Christmas and New Years, which added a touch of home. Eileen was easy to deal with and always quick to respond and we will definitely book this house any time we're back in Pittsburgh.
