Disappointing
This property could be so lovely. It sits in a secluded area with total privacy and is spacious. Unfortunately that is where the positives end. As per previous reviewers, please take a multitool in order to sort things as you go along. Prepare yourself for noisy air con which makes one room unusable, noisy ceiling fans, window handles falling off in your hand and filthy kitchen utilities.
We consoled ourselves with days out and meals eaten locally. Check out Coin and Alhaurín el grande for delicious and cheap food and ice cream!

Hardly luxury - green pool, no power, no running water
On arrival the pool was green ...it took 3-4 days to get it clear. A power cut for 2.5 days due to a power bill not paid, meant no power and no running water. So many things were broken in the house (oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, shower, ineffective fridge and air conditioning etc etc). On making a complaint and request for some recompense, the Manager is yet to respond. A disgrace.

Indifference
Indifferce is the Best Way to describe the owner of this House. Very hard to find, before going to Spain, i asked for a detailed direction. Not hard to give, but no.. they give you a phonenumber to a cap driver, if you cant find it.. he hung up, because he did not speak english. When we finally found the House, the code for the key box was wrong. The House and therarsse is very nice, with an amazing view.. the House was cleaned ok, exept from the kitchen witch was very dirty.. the fridge was SO descusting!! The pool was dirty as well, green on the bottom. They sent someone to clean it, but it never really got that clean.. the aircondition in the downstairs bedroom, was leaking with water( so it could not be used). The Owen Door was broken.. this House could be so Nice, with a little effort. We had a great holiday, but we will not reccomend the house, unless you bring a toolbox.

Villa great. Needs some attention.
Villa is lovely..town is Lovely. Villa is in much need of attention. Don't go on holiday with a tool kit!! I think the list of items that needed repair was over 50...not good enough really.

The villa was beautiful but difficult to find.
We had a lovely stay. The villa itself was perfect. We found it difficult to find and it was a bit further from the cost than we expected.
We had plenty of space and if there were any issues we found it easy to contact someone.

Lovely spacious villa with panoramic views.
Myself and seven other family members had a lovely relaxing holiday. The villa was really spacious and catered for all our needs. The swimming pool was a must especially in the lovely hot weather. The views from the villa were amazing and there was something new to spot every day. Rachael did a fantastic job and answered any questions we had very promptly. I would recommend this villa to others looking in this area. Thanks again Milly.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views
The house is set at the top of a hill and whilst there are neighbouring properties, there is a wonderful sense of privacy. The road up to the house is narrow and steep (and the last portion was stony rather than tarmac) but with our car there were no problems.
In terms of the living space, there is one double bedroom on the ground floor, by the lounge, and the master and two twin rooms on the first floor. There are balconies throughout the house so you can enjoy the view. The kitchen is in the circular part of the house overlooking the pool and the town. The kitchen has everything you might possibly need and the house was clean, modern, well decorated and well equipped.
To get to the pool, there is a set of steps down from the main house, this is where there is a great outdoor barbecue and bar area, with fridges. Access to the self contained flat (double bedroom, shower/wc, lounge and kitchen area) is from this lower ground level as is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. We made use of the barbecue on an almost daily basis. There are lights on the patio which mean you can enjoy sitting out on warm evenings.
Overall we had a spectacular holiday and rarely left the villa. We went to Alhaurin el Grande town a few times and it was lovely, Fuengirola beach town is also fairly near for a day trip.
Rachael the host was excellent: very helpful, reliable and on hand for any questions/assistance- thank you Rachael!
The only downsides we felt were:
-Hot water did not work a lot of the time and due to the location of the villa the water pressure is sometimes not enough for the shower.
-The air conditioning outlet is located on the first floor balcony (outside one of the twin rooms) and is so loud my son could not sleep if it was on - we had to ensure the units were not running in any of the rooms at bedtime.
-the door lock of the apartment was so stiff only my husband could unlock it, due to the hand power required when turning the key.
Would stay again and we would definitely recommend the villa to large families.
