Personal unfreundlich
Personal unfreundlich (vielleicht aufgrund spätem check in), sehr weit vom Schuss entfernt, zu weit außerhalb. Die Zimmer sind sehr abgewohnt. Maximal 1 Nacht, nicht mehr.

Nice back garden and the cat around 🐈⬛❤️
Everything was clean and friendly atmosphere.
The location is nice area but far away. Buses are going all the time or taxi is easy to get.
Good for you if you have a car or healhty legs 🤔😁

I appreciate the assistance of the receptionist who accepted to change my bed .
The hostel smells terrible. Maybe it’s only applicable to my room. There were some towels that seems to have been there for weeks.
I went straight to the laundry room as soon as I got home.
Maybe others could verify my claim.

I will not recommend this hostel, for English speakers they will not help and will pay more cuz of language barriers. If you can’t speak polish or Russian they will not help, and the manager was so rude. Was expectation and reality, photo and reality did not match. Was so sad, cuz we paid for 97 pln and while others paid 60pln and I didn’t understand why we paid more. Anyway this is the worst hostel ever, please save your mental health don’t go there!!!

I want to highlight the cleanliness of the bathroom. Even though it was shared, It was extremely clean. And i did not notice eny queue. The location was good as well. Fresh air.
There was noisy. Especially in the mornings. Due to the fact that the doors of the rooms were with glasses, that did not soundproof. The door with glasses was another challenge. Even though glasses were opaque, it was uncomfortable

Madeira Hostel is one of a kind experience. Our first impression was one that could be described as surprising. After arriving, we had to wait some kind 15 minutes for someone to receive and guide us to our designated accommodations.
The sympathy was nonexistent, as the basic hygiene of Madeira. If words could describe the proper present smell, I would apologize to the reader for almost vomiting, because that’s what Madeira Hostel provides.
Nevertheless, if you are searching for a place to hangover, fight drug addiction, or stay in bed scrolling to tiktok for 15 hours- Madeira is heaven on Hostel. The 10 person rooms contribute to these graphic visual images.
Madeira formulated a story to be told, about a vacation of a group of brave youngsters battling the conditions in which they spend the night.
If you’re searching for a crazy night, like the ones where memory is absent, Madeira is the place for you, because that is what you would wish.
Despite the cheap price, the cost and benefit is unworthy. An experience of a lifetime.

The lady from the staff was nice, but informed me that there was a pipe fault(?) and I could not sleep in the room I had booked. I only found this out on the spot and had to sleep in a room downstairs (which looked like a basement) with dodgy people. I am disappointed that the owner didn't inform me in advance about the room change!
The rooms downstairs are the cheapest, I paid more during reservation because I booked the upper room , but still slept in the spooky basement room.
I didn't like the atmosphere there, people are strange and noisy. They come back, for example, at 5 a.m. and walk loudly around the room, they do not behave culturally. The guy next to me had a couple of empty beer bottles next to the bed, making it stink and no one from the staff paid him any attention!
I do not recommend sleeping in this place for single women. The downstairs bathroom has a broken lock and I was afraid to use it because there were a lot of sketchy men hanging around.

A mistake happened and I got charged two times. When I called the house lady about it she immediately corrected it. She was very kind in general and very eager to help.
It is not the type of lounge hostel that young people - travelers go to and meet and do activities. It is more like the sketchy hostel where sketchy people go. But other than the looks there is not even the slightest feeling of hostility. Everyone is just minding their business. The conditions and facility indeed could be better but hey... it's a 10eur hostel. It is value for money. Common rooms are super clean, beds too. But always remember that it is a hostel :) Overall it is value for money

- it's a park or a forest nearby
- the beds were fine
- the room had a balcony
- 35 mins by bus to airport (buy a ticket in advance!)
- it's noisy because of other people: doors are thin, so when other guests start to walk 5-6 am in the hall, you cannot sleep.

The location wasn't too far from the center, it was a ten minutes walk. The kitchen was ok, but the toilet was small and a bit uncomfortable. The shower was also ok, and the dorm was also good enough.
The kitchen was a bit messy and there was no order in where things were put, so I had to look around for the items I needed. The toilet was a bit small also.
