Excellent location, room with an excellent size. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is very good! Love the fact that there is a huge parking area.
The bathroom and the shower box could have been a bit bigger. Also there was some trouble in having the hair dryer working properly for a while.
4.1
The location and the fact that you can park the car very easily in the parking space of the hotel.
Not a positive experience. They promised information that did not correspond to reality. There was neither air conditioning nor a minibar available, although they were charged for daily. Very poor service at reception, with disregard for the guest by the two employees. As for accommodation, the bathroom stall, in addition to being very small, had an shower to handle.
The sun shone directly into the room and as there was no air conditioning, it was very difficult to sleep.
The breakfast was poorly served, as there was only one employee trying to serve all the tables. He managed to serve me two days in a row by serving burnt scrambled eggs, with a dirty pan. It didn't have the basics, that is, toast and sliced cheese. They served roughly just Italian bread and pieces of cheese that looked like they were from the day before. By the way, in one of the dinners, the cheese tasted old. Lots of pies, juices and boxed milk. I liked the yogurt, which was from the supermarket, and which we had to eat with a coffee spoon, as the hotel did not provide us with a dessert spoon. In fact, no spoons, other than the one for coffee.
It never deserves 4 stars. I would give it a 2 without hesitation. It is a shame, as my nephew lives in Campobasso and was glad to recommend it to our family. He said he will not recommend it to anyone anymore.

Good location with parking, excellent breakfast included, with very attentive staff

It was a last minute stay, so I was not expecting anything but for the price paid I thought it could have been a more contemporary hotel, however they made up with a very nice breakfast. Overall not a bad experience.
I didn’t like that Air conditioning was listed but not working.

This is the very nice hotel in Campobasso. We stopped here on our way to Rome because my husband’s grandfather was from Campobasso. We climbed the hill to see the old Norman castle and 2 beautiful old churches. It was a fantastic view of the city. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was great. Manuele and Marangela were so friendly and helpful. They spoke English very well. And the main reason to stay at this hotel is Luigino! He made our stay here so special. We ate at the restaurant and our food selections were delicious. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy. They had everything you could want. We highly recommend visiting Campobasso and staying at this hotel. When you stay here, be sure and say hello to our good friend Luigino!

Staff were excellent. Super friendly at both the front desk/reception and especially in the restaurant. Francesco was particularly great, helping us with the menu and making recommendations. The room was spacious and very clean.
Like some other reviewers noted, the furnishings had seen better days. The bed wasn't very comfortable (of course this is very subjective) as it was just a thinner mattress atop a platform base. Given there were only two pillows I asked the desk for a 3 additional which they kindly brought up. Unfortunately the pillows as a whole just had no substance and fell very short of what we experienced throughout the rest of our 2-week Italian holiday. Lastly, there was no seal strip on the bottom of the shower door, which caused the bathroom to flood when each of us showered.

location
beds not great.

Good location, free and big open parking, nice staff. Welcome drink (tea I suppose) served upon check-in. The location is fine, close to the railway station but also if you plan to explore the city, including the castle.
The breakfast could have been better. I asked for the bread and there was none. In the morning they were reorganising chairs and tables in the breakfast room, and it was disturbing so I could not sleep (I arrived late at night).

The fantastic attention of Luis and all the staff including Emilia a Alise.
That attitude makes the difference. thanks a lot.

Very clean and easy parking.
Generally felt that the hotel was a bit tired and staff seemed a little disorganised and unenthusiastic with the exception of a nice girl on the front desk who directed us to a good pizza house for dinner. Decor is clean but dated and to be frank boring as it is the same throughout. Breakfast was a disappointment with a non-help yourself buffet with no option for hot food and service a bit take it or leave it, with the waitress disappearing outside for a cigarette half way through leaving a guest standing at the breakfast counter for about five minutes until she helped herself ( after which it sounded like she was reprimanded... ) It would have been nice to have been introduced to the breakfast service and offered tea or coffee instead of having to work it out for ourselves and go and catch the waitress to ask.

location
we did not get the room we booked.
Because we do not speak Italian, we were ignored often.

place was lovely, room was perfect, breakfast was great. Restaurant on-site is gorgeous and pretty high end.
The pool is new and really nice but there's no clear way to get into it. Have to either walk in along some slippery rocks, or sit on the edge and swing your legs over - as someone with a bad knee, neither wasn't possible for me so I didn't go in.

Location was perfect; breakfast and staff was exceptional. You will never have a better breakfast anywhere! The staff there was incredible. Plenty of parking. Comfortable room.

Location, staff, food. Room needed some updating. Nightstand drawers were missing handles, not a good bed, too few pillows and blankets. Bathroom shower very small. More towels needed. easy fixes.

The staff was very attentive, the place is super clean. Breakfast pastries were of excellent quality and appeared to be homemade. The place offers parking which is a big plus in this location.
Although the vast majority of the staff were friendly and attentive, some of the desk staff could use some people skills training. Nothing unpleasant transpired but the demeanor was less than expected, especially at the greeting point.

Check-in was easy. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Large lobby and big breakfast room/restaurant.
Bathroom was very dated, rooms rather dated as well. View from room was of parking lot to large urban building next door. Hotel location is among very busy roads and not conductive to exploring the city on foot. It was raining very heavily when we arrived and the city was bleak (not the hotel's fault, but the hotel didn't help lighten the mood).

Although a period property, it had modern amenities throughout. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was beautifully furnished; the bathroom modern and exceptionally clean. It was next door to a supermarket. We ate in the hotel as the town seemed very quiet for a Saturday and the food was lovely but pricey. Breakfast was pastries, meats and cheeses. The fresh fruit was very refreshing.
There was no shaver socket to charge a toothbrush.

The food was great. Lots of local produce used in the Menu. The food we had was excellent.
The Hotel was a vast area of emptiness. It felt deserted on occasion with no lights on the bar and staff hard to find. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever found in a Hotel. Housekeeping staff insisted everyone had to get up at 8.30am due to the incredible amount of noise made. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Complimentary breakfast and good dinner selections
