Its a cheap option, centre of town

The bed and whole room smells of cigarette smoke. The WiFi is dodgy, it doesn’t feel clean.

Exceptional

Hostel Center Plovdiv is located at the very top centre of town, in the main walking street. The room was very clean, the bed is very comfortable. It's very quiet at night. There's an open-space terrace for smokers. I'd highly recommend it!

- location - private room for a reasonable price (25 leva per night) - wifi was stable and fast enough

- my reservation indicated heating is included, whereas in reality it was not, and they asked me to pay an extra 10 leva (~5€) per day for an electric heater (?!) when I showed my reservation which states heating is included into the final price, they said something like "so what?", and "it's an old information". when I said I'm gonna write a complaint to booking.com, their reaction was smth like: "yeah, whatever..." - no fridge, no kitchen, but this at least matches the description - last floor (4th) and no elevator, so you have to climb

Good Location

Owner was an older man who was very friendly and nice. My room had a balcony. Perfect location, good value.

Perferct location. Good value for this money

Location. Location. Locatioin - it's perferc. Close to everything. From the shower we can see old town. From rooms - main street.

Quite noise at night - it's a flip side of good location :) - people are working (and talking) all night. But the view is super.

good price for quality

the property is clean. there are towels and slippers. the bathroom is clean and big. the administration is very helpful. the administrator called us and supported us on finding the hostel. the hostel is on the Main Street of Plovdiv-great location for going out and enjoying the night life.

everything was ok :)

Good location ,helpful owner

The hostel write on booking that guests enjoy the view while sitting in a big balcony and put a pic of that with some guests sitting but i didnt see this balcony or sat on it ...the owner chose the worst room with a small window on the top of the room so i couldnt look from it to see the street

OK for the money.

Most of all I liked the location - right on the main drag. Another thing I liked was the balcony of my room. The hostel offers decent accomodation. For a night or two, it's absolutely OK. For this little money, you can't expect a 5-star hotel.

The room wasn't very clean. It was not filthy, but you could see it hasn't been cleaned after the previous guest. And there was dust and hairs in the wardrobe.

Good location, bad hygiene in the rooms. Only a one time stay if you don’t have others options.

The location was amazing.

The whole hostel smelled like cigarettes including the bedding underwear. The floor and the furniture were dirty.

Basic, convenient centrally located. No frills accommodation will suit budget or emergency ..

Just a bit difficult to find as most buildings in this busy street are unnumbered... .can be very lively and noisy at the weekend....Hostel is on the 4th floor at top of steep staircase...As Plovdiv has become much busier over the years ,some visitors might be better to research other quieter locations, but getting to your destination may be difficult due to variability of public transport.. The Central Bus Station desk did not know about the Airport Shuttle bus...

Fair price -reasonable condition -excellent price

Excellent location. Balcony view of old town (my room - single). Terrace for smoking - relaxation. Fair price for reasonable condition.

It's quite a hostel; maybe a old style low rate hotel - NO common kitchen, tv, fridge, almost nothing just a bathroom for 5-6 rooms. Noise isolation is missing- you hear neighbouring doors openings/closing. Cleaning of the room/bathroom is poor.

On the main pedestrian street. Totally central and very quiet. Large common bathroom with a beautifully functioning shower and all the hot water you need.

Definitely the room needs heavy curtains! There's too much light in the morning, at least in this period. And a bedside lamp.

Wonderfully interesting trip made even better by friendly locals

Location was absolutely amazing, room had everything required for a comfortable stay and the balcony was a great bonus. Most memorable thing about my stay is how wonderfully helpful the owner/manager was - not only did he meet my taxi in order to escort me to the property (as property is in pedestrian area), due to monetary issue on my part he not only let me stay the night without having any kind of payment but also took me out the following morning, showed me cash points/exchange bureau and then bought me coffee and pointed out various interesting areas to visit. After all of this he even allowed me to keep my room until evening on the last day as I had a late flight. X

Whole trip to Plovdiv was excellent and although there wasn't anything I particularly disliked it's worth mentioning that the accommodation is on the top/4th floor of the building that has no lift. I know this is common in many of these countries and I usually remember to ask before booking as I am actually disabled due to neurological disorders. I managed fine albeit slowly to reach the accommodation as the stairs are thankfully wide and sturdy with a good handrail.
