Loved the magic mirror that seemed to take a stone off when looking in it
Worth a fortune!!!!
What’s not to like
Everything including the local farm shop visit was simply gorgeous

The studio was clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. As we were going to a wedding it was great that there was a full length mirror. We loved the top hat theme from the paintings and lamp shade.
From reading the visitors book it seems that there are usually some welcome treats but there was nothing for us.

Facility was away from main house allowing early start in morning without disturbing others.
Sofa was not as comfortable as I would have liked, booking.com advertised as having satellite channels but not correct.

Everything, spotless.. and the pictures don't lie! the space is better than in the pictures!
Nothing, I just found the downstairs floor cold and the bathroom a little cold for those who come out of the shower! I caught a little cold, but I certainly want to go back!

We were here to visit Salisbury and Winchester Xmas markets with both a 15-20 min drive away, prices in town were too dear so The Studio met all we were looking for. A nice break both markets were good with Winchester being our favourite.
Alice gave a great recommendation for a gluten free eating place that was excellent.

Breakfast was fine all left in the fridge bacon, eggs etc, together with homemade bread and brownies, wonderful.
Studio was perfect location for visiting family and friends in Andover.
Alice was lovely lady and host.

Location, breakfast, layout, size of shower, cleanliness, host friendly and extremely helpful.
Mainly the WiFi let it down as I was travelling for business, otherwise it was lovely. Using my laptop the connection speed was great at 16gb down and 25gb up but ALL social media sites were blocked, everything else worked fine so it was nothing to do with the speed or connection, I even uploaded numerous photographs to my website for clients, however, I couldn't let the clients know they were available via social media so it impacted my business that weekend. I assume the WiFi had some kind of parental control activated for social media else why would other sites work fine. That said I managed a work round using my own data from the driveway. If I was travelling for work, I wouldn't hesitate to return though.

Perfect accommodation for a weekend in the country to attend a family wedding. The Studio is very well appointed for all you would need for more than a short stay. Breakfast items left on arrival ensure we had a great start to each day.
Nothing …. faultless for our needs

Nice area, lovely separately studio, very kind host, nice bathroom.
We got a home made bread and cake. Sadly I don't eat white soft bread, but it was really kind, my husband enjoyed.
We had made our own breakfast what is was in the price. It was enough only for one day. We paid two night with two breakfast. I hate do any cooking and washing up on my holiday. Plus I hate sleep in cooking smell.
Bed was too soft for me, I slept on the sofa.

A lovely spacious and well designed studio in a beautiful location, perfect for your young family with a park and playing field adjacent. The owners were friendly and checked in with us a few times. The provided breakfast was very welcome, as were the yummy brownies!
We would definitely be happy to stay again and would not hesitate to recommend to others :)

Great position to visit area.
Always lovely welcome.
Ultra comfy bed.

The Studio In The Field is located in a lovely village called Wherwell in Hampshire. Upon arrival I was greeted by Alice who is really nice and welcoming (she even baked me a fresh loaf of bread). The Studio offers everything I needed for my weekend visit, including some lovely gluten free home made brownies and off street parking. The shower is amazing along with the lovely smelling towels, oh and the hat shaped light shade is a nice touch.
It's very clear a lot of thought has gone into the accommodation and I will be returning at a future date.

Really liked the way breakfast components were provided - one less thing to have to think about. Food was good quality including delicious home made bread and brownies. Very cosy and warm despite heating not working - electric fires were provided.
4.7
Alice provided everything that is required for a variety of breakfast types.
If we stay again we will take our own slippers!

This is a lovely space, cleverly designed, warm and comfortable. Well kitted out kitchen. Excellent shower. Beds very comfortable but a little short. Good quality bed linen and superb towels.
Great first impressions on arrival with homemade chocolate brownies, a loaf of homemade bread. Bacon and eggs in the fridge and plentiful cereal boxes. This was not "topped up" during the stay though so supplies ran short. Another loaf and more milk would have helped on third morning.

Very good
Warmer bathroom

A friendly welcome from Alice.
Ample supplies for breakfast.
The property was tastefully decorated and clean.
Great location and would have no hesitation in recommending the Studio to friends.
The mirror on the dressing table was too low to use and needs to be raised. However, the positives far outweighed this minor inconvenience.
4.7
Everything was nicely presented and very well equipped.
Alice was very helpful and whilst we didn't have to have much contact with her we knew she would always be on hand to help if necessary.
There wasn't anything we didn't like but if we had been staying for longer than two night it would be nice to have some outside space especially if we had good weather.

Independent and easy!
4.7
Nice welcome, good location, comfy beds and parking.
Felt “breakfast included” on this website was misleading as you have to cook yourself with eggs & bacon provided in fridge then wash up; we didn’t bother. Also reference to “spiders” in blue information folder was not good to read late evening especially for people with a phobia.

Alice thought of everything for a perfect stay, perfect location to explore the surrounding area.
Nothing!
4.7
Very comfortable studio with everything you need.

A beautiful location, fabulous accommodation and very welcoming host.
Everything was perfect, nothing negative to say.

Alice was the perfect hostess, nothing appeared too much trouble and she kept us up to date on the local broadband failure which was out of her control. By far the best stocked self-catering kitchen we have ever stayed at. Beautiful location.
There was nothing to not like

Good location
Nice studio however could do with a small guest area for sitting outside, there was a bench in the car park but in shade and next to the cars. With regard to breakfast bacon, eggs, cereal and juice were left in apartment, however we didn’t want to cook as it was very hot. Maybe if guests were asked what they would prefer ie. continental - croissants, pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurts it would avoid wastage. Also a cheval mirror would be good for upstairs in the studio as there is no long mirror.

Amazing location, friendly locals. the accomodation was perfect, nothing extra needed. Little touches made it from a well stocked leaflet and info pack to the gluten free brownies. Thanks for a great stay.
I can honestly say there was nothing I didn't like.

Wherwell is the most beautiful village, with river walks aplenty. A far cry from where I live in London! The apartment is a very large room, including kitchen area at the end - it feels very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom downstairs. The window at the kitchen end takes up the entire wall, giving a lot of light. It's all very well done and would definitely stay again! (And yes, as others have said - the brownies are delicious! :-))

Lovely peaceful situation, warm, comfortable, well appointed studio with all we needed for our weekend stay, including self catering breakfast and delicious brownies too!
