We had a fantastic time. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio with view on garden and fields. The lodge was very cute, clean and had everything you needed. The host Liz is lovely and easy going. Area is god for cycling and the coast is also just a short drive away.

Lovely lodge, decor 10/10, the welcome package was a nice touch (especially the delicious eggs). Has everything you would ever need!
Nothing really. (The only thing is the pigeons making noises in the morning, but there's nothing that can be done about it, as it's nature)

Beautiful place. Lovely and clean, fully equipped, lovely welcome pack, and in a lovely location.
There was nothing not too like

Welcome hamper was amazing. The host had thought about every little thing you could ever need

Liz left an array of breakfast and complimentary food/wine for me to use. Thanks. I like the decor and small touches. The accommodation is perfect for one or two people. Good to be able to cook as well when I wanted. Great to have The Banningham Crown pub a short walk away for good food and cosy atmosphere.
TV channels limited.

Quiet private location, very peaceful. Friendly welcome. Cosy accommodation, and thoughtful, helpful provision of groceries and treats - best we've experienced!
bed small double, could be upgraded to a king size, and dining chairs uncomfortable

The property is an absolute gem. Clean, comfortable and totally private. Everything inside the property was of excellent quality and there were many extras such as wine, chocolates and a good selection of breakfast items. What could be nicer than waking up to the sunshine shining over the fields. Highly recommend this lovely, peaceful little place.
Absolutely nothing!

Everything was thought about from our arrival basket down to the essentials, a fan for hot nights and plenty of blankets for chillier evenings which we didn't use as weather was perfect for our entire stay. Outside seat pads, lighting and most of all private parking space.
It was perfect. ten out of ten.

Breakfast items provided were excellent, the lodge was beautiful and layout of the property was great.
The curtains let through too much light. Unclear if the crockery could be used in the microwave and dishwasher.

Everything about our stay here was perfect and wouldn’t change a thing!
Nothing.

Very clean and comfortable.
Host leaves extra comforts in food supplies to get you started, added bonus 😃
Finding the location was tricky as the postcode doesn't take you to the property

if you want to get away from it all this is the place. but if you do want to eat out the pub really is only 1 minute walk and it’s great.
the host provided all we needed for a short stay, bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, cereals, eggs, juice, water, sauce do not need to shop before hand .

The property is in a perfect location for visiting the coastal area of Norfolk and nearby stately homes

Its a lovely place to stay with really friendly hosts. We raised a couple of very minor problems with the facilities which the hosts sorted very quickly and in a friendly way. They were really helpful.
We would like to go back at some point.

Great location for what we wanted to do. Cosy, modern with good facilities. Great host who left us with an exceptional starter pack of essential food.( beyond the normal )

Very clean and private. Had everything needed for a short stay. Thank you.
Nothing.
However we would suggest a little more signage would be helpful to locate the house and be sure it's the right one (i.e. the lodge name at the entrance).

Privacy and bird life In the garden.
The decor, modern facilities throughout , large T.V.
Fantastic complimentary breakfast items.
Pub on doorstep with excellent food and all in all a superb holiday location with very friendly and helpful hosts.

Beautifully presented hideaway well placed to escape the city life! We loved our stay here, it was like a home away from home.
Not their fault at all but the local pubs food was overpriced and inedible so we would recommend going further afield!

We enjoyed our stay at Walnut Tree Lodge very much and would definitely recommend it to others thinking of staying there.

Location is great, and the lodge was very comfortable. A very nice and useful welcome pack on arrival to get you started and lovely hosts.

Really lovely lodge for a cosy and comfortable escape to the country. Good location for exploring the area, easy check in, helpful and friendly hosts. Such a treat to have breakfast provisions waiting for you. If the weather was better we would have enjoyed eating meals on the patio overlooking the fields. The lodge was well equipped, clean and safe with side access and privacy. Very enjoyable stay indeed.

The property was as pretty and as well equipped as on the description. It was spotlessly clean, tidy and a selection of provisions was provided, which was way beyond our expectations.
It was too cold to use the terrace but it gets the sun in the morning and in the evening and it must be a delight to be there in the summer months.
The pub in the village had reopened after Covid for outdoor drinking / eating so we enjoyed a drink outside and took a delicious takeaway meal back to the Walnut Tree Lodge.
I would highly recommend this little gem.
The tv and sound system are a bit outdated but it does not diminish at all the enjoyment of the place. The wifi worked really well when we were there.

Excellent location for North Norfolk sight seeing. Lovely peaceful location. Great decor and really well equipped accommodation, with unexpectedly generous supplies to keep us going for breakfast for several days. Very pleasant owners. Lovely garden, with birds singing in the morning!
The wash basin is small with strong water pressure, so the water overshoots and splashes a bit if you're not careful with the tap. Helpful notes in the accommodation warned us of this, so it was manageable, though the tap was a bit stiff.
4.7
Location. Quiet. Clean. Bird life. Off-road parking.
No internet. Some of provisions ran out. Slow draining shower.
