This Palmetto Dunes unbelievable upscale vacation home will provide you with everything you need. So no need to bring beach chairs, beach towels, bikes, kid carrier, pool/beach toys, fishing pool, board games, puzzles, crib/high chair, gas grill and a kitchen fully equipped to fix a huge meal for family/friends!
Grand enough for entertainment, serene enough for total relaxation, and it is only a 7 minute walk to the beach.
This fantastic nonsmoking, pet free, Hilton Head home offers wonderful water views that extend from the back yard and wrap around the left side of the house. Beautifully and professionally decorated with spacious rooms, high ceilings, paddle fans and wood flooring throughout.
The first floor offers a beautiful formal dining room with a long wood table that seats eight. The dining room opens up to the spacious living room with a fireplace surrounded by floor to ceiling 20 foot windows, as well as three glass-pained doors that lead out to the screened in porch.
The living room is furnished with two couches, a chair with an ottoman, 47 inch HD TV w streaming For those rainy days we have equipped the house with 7 HD flat screens and streaming options.
The kitchen is fully equipped with, stainless steel appliances, double ovens, granite counter tops, five burner bosch cook top on the island with four bar stools, and dinning table that seats eight with lagoon view and entrance to the back yard and gas grill. There is a half bath on the first floor.
The lower level pool room offers a great get away for kids and adults. The screened out door living space provides soft seating with 47 inch HD flat screen (w streaming app) soft seating, granite counter top bar area with 6 stools, second frig with ice maker (which every house needs) and the pool table. The room opens to the pool deck and offers lagoon views.
There is a first floor King Master Bedroom with exceptional large bathroom with double vanity, walk in closet, jetted tub, stand up shower. The toilet and the bidet are located in master bathroom with door for privacy from the rest of the bathroom. This master bedroom over looks the water with incredible views.
The second floor master bedroom has a king bed, armoire with TV (streaming apps) and DVD and lagoon views. There is a private bathroom which features marble vanity tops, porcelain tub, and a separate walk in shower with glass door.
The Third bedroom with a lagoon view has a queen bed, TV (streaming apps) and shares a bath with the Forth bedroom which has two full beds and TV w streaming apps, 2 twins stored under full beds for additional beds for kids). The Fifth bedroom has trundle beds (can be combined into a king) and a large TV w streaming apps. There is another full bath in the hall. The house has 1 porta crib and a high chair in the walk in closet. The second floor features a landing with a leather sofa which overlooks the living room.
The screened porch with paddle fans and wonderful lagoon views can be accessed from the first floor master bedroom or one of the three double patio doors off the living room. The porch is spacious with a large dinning table with seating for 6, rocking chairs and soft seating for relaxation.
Steps take you down to the sundeck, which features lounge chairs. Another set of steps lead you down to the pool (heating optional) gorgeous lagoon views, lounge chairs, and patio table and chairs adorn pool deck and yard. You can relax on our private dock admiring the beautiful water views.
For more fun and adventure enjoy the Palmetto Dunes premier tennis/pickle ball courts, (additional fee), 3 kayaks (one double) with life jackets, 6-10 adult bikes, double wagon, large cooler, foosball table and ping pong table in the garage. This is an unbelievable house. Not only is the interior spectacular but the
outside backyard is incredible, with unmatchable privacy and views. We have a private dock for easy launching of the 3 kayaks.
It is about a 7 minute walk to the beach, over the lagoon and through the Omni Hotel. The Omni caters to the beach lovers with island music and island café open to the public. Guests can also drive (or use the free Dune Buggy shuttle) around the corner to the Disney beach access which has outside snack bar, showers and restrooms, and chair and umbrella rentals.

Our family, ages 12-75, enjoyed our stay on HHI in this beautiful home. Everyone had a comfortable bedroom, the screened in porch was a gathering place, we played games in the evening around the large wooden coffee table in the living area and the pool and hot tub were very refreshing for all. What a peaceful view of the lagoons and local wildlife. The kayaks were enjoyable and we caught fish from the dock. The pool table and bicycles were very popular, also. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen by dining in every night. It was a wonderful week - we made memories to last a lifetime.

Great Stay. Just as advertised, perfect location and beautiful home. Perfect for our large family vacation (Four couples, and two extra people.) Has all the extras, no need to rent anything for your vacation. Highly recommend!

I am impressed. I was actually skeptical regarding all the 5* reviews but this is one of the best homes we have ever stayed in (20+ years regularly renting). The contact with the owner was outstanding; it was clean, big enough to fit everyone; plenty of space (extra refrigerator was handy). And SO much to do. We LOVED being on the waterway – it looked beautiful, it was peaceful & all of our group enjoyed the kayaks, pool, bikes, and hot tub. We brought some wagons and used the ones in the house to walk to the beach every day – the weather was perfect! We'd love to stay here again and highly recommend this rental. Thank you for letting us spend some really quality time with extended family. (before shopping...check out the house...there are LOTS of extras the host has provided!)

We had an amazing time at Peggy’s home. The listing accurately showcases all that the home has to offer. Amazing location, incredible water views and no complaints what so ever. Such a relaxing and quiet area, yet a quick 5-10 min bike ride or walk to the beach. Peggy has thought of everything to make your stay complete in the home. We lacked for nothing and her hospitality was nothing short of incredible. Communication was so easy and returned within minutes. Highly recommend this property. We will be back again in the future for certain.

We had a wonderful week. We found the house to have everything we truly needed to have a great and enjoyable week for our whole family. The double masters were great for our older parents. The games, activities, bikes, pool, kayaks, were amazing for the kiddos. We loved the location and the property. The corner lot on the lagoon was beautiful and fun to fish and watch wildlife. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We had a wonderful stay. I believe the 11-12 people would have a little bit more comfortable accommodations. But overall, what a wonderful stay and great hospitality!

Peggy was such a wonderful host. Extremely attentive, helpful & communicative. The home is located in a perfect location on the island-mid point. Plenty of restaurants, mini golf, shopping, beach within a walk, bike ride or short drive. The Palmetto Dunes property alone has a General store, a restaurant, tennis, pickle ball, golf and loads of bike trails.
The home is stunning and is fully stocked! Situated on the water, Peggy graciously supplies bikes, beach towels, chairs, bedding, towels, full kitchen supplies, toilet paper and my personal favorite touch-Q tips!
The property is laid out nicely with screened porch, wonderful deck in front, pool, hot tub, game room with pool table, couches, refrigerator, TV, outdoor grill and platform by the water.
During our stay we were visited by alligators, blue herons, osprey, egrets, an owl, ton of jumping fish.
We will definitely be back!!

My family and in-laws, totaling 13 people stayed in this house for a week over the 4th of July. We all fit comfortably in the house. The location is AWESOME! Loved sitting out on the lawn every day drinking my coffee and watching the wildlife around the lagoon. The pool and hot tub were also a great addition to the house. The house had everything we needed to be able to cook our meals. I also was very happy to see all the bikes they provided and the kayaks, which we used to explore the lagoon. Communication with the owner was also very prompt and informative. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 13 stayed here in June and had a great time. The first floor primary suite was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and upstairs bedrooms are a little small but overall it was a nice house. Just to note: there are lots of stairs.

Peggy was the most gracious hostess! We came in for a family reunion and this house did not disappoint! Peggy thinks of everything from all you could ever need in the kitchen to bikes and towels for the beach! She even had a side car for my niece who couldn’t ride due to injury. It was the perfect home for a much needed break. Wish we didn’t have to leave!

This was our first time in Hilton Head. The house was beautiful with a gorgeous view! It was spacious, clean & well equipped with everything you would need. Perfect for our family. The neighborhood was great. We enjoyed biking around the neighborhood. A lot to do in the area. Only a short bike ride / walk to the beach. Peggy was a great host, very thorough and stayed in touch. We didn’t experience any issues but knew we were in great hands. We would highly recommend this home!

Beautiful layout from the outdoor surroundings, to the spacious floor plan. Everything stocked—won’t need a thing. Used bikes, pool table, shuffleboard table, kayaks, ping pong, pool, hot tub everyday. Grandkids loved the toy closet every morning! And pool and hot tub was a perfect way to unwind to end a busy day! And the picturesque beach was only short walk away! Can’t say enough positives!

Turn-key dream vacation property right on Lake Norman! Beautiful, large home with every amenity. Spectacular grounds with a boat dock from where we adventured each day with our pontoon boat. We all enjoyed the hot tub, multi-tiered patio area, pool table, huge kitchen, and the beautiful views. Easy check-in and great folks to work with. We are coming back for sure! This house was spacious, located in a private corner lot with beautiful corner views of the inter coastal yet only a 3 min bike ride to the beach. The house came with everything we needed bikes, game room, multiple tv viewing areas- guys in the man-cave by the pool watching football and women in the main room watching House of the Dragon and kids upstairs playing board games.
We will definitely stay here again. The owner was amazing and kept in touch with us - since we were there during Hurricane Ian.

This house was spacious, well-equipped, clean and convenient to the beach, courts and golf course. Being mid-island, we rode bicycles over to Shelter Cove often. Host responded and resolved a small issue quickly. Highly recommend! We will definitely stay here again.

We brought our 3 adult children and two teens to Hilton Head for the week and I can’t imagine a more perfect house or location. Being on the canal with the pool, hot tub and deck made this week a dream. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home and bedrooms are spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home with several families over Spring Break. We all had a great time. Great location with easy access to many activities. Kids loved the game room. Great to have the bikes available, we also rented e-bikes and our group was able to bike everywhere.
