Enjoy a relaxing vacation in a bright cheerful open floor plan home with beautiful ocean views and easy beach accesses within 400 feet on both sides of the house. The house is located 2.5 miles south of the shops and restaurants of Surf City and four miles north of the shops and restaurants of Topsail Beach.There is more than enough room under the house to park four cars and also room for several cars to park on the grass beside the driveway. There is an enclosed shower under the house as well as an open wash down area. Also there a nice sitting area in front of the charcoal grill. Directly behind the grilling area is a storage room with a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella, beach cart, and 6 bikes.The best feature of all is the wide covered porch with six tall wooden Adirondack chairs and a matching table. The covered porch will keep the hot sun and rain off you while you enjoy 3 ocean views. The back of the house features an uncovered deck with a picnic table shaded by trees. The well furnished living area features a 55 inch Samsung Led TV with cable, Netflix, and a Blue-ray DVD Player. The well stocked kitchen has plenty of counter space and four counter stools. All four bedrooms have Queen sized beds. Three of these have a three inch mattress topper and one is firm.There are two bathrooms, one with a shower tub and the other with shower only.

This property was everything we needed as a family. The entire interior is wonderfully appointed and very comfortable.. including beds! Basic amenities were more than enough..no need to run to the store as soon as you arrive. Front porch looking out to the ocean was great. Also fenced area for dogs was a huge plus. We will definitely be back 😊

Had a nice stay at Tom's Egrets Walk cottage. We loved the layout of the cottage with two bedrooms and one bathroom on each side, which made the cottage seem more spacious. Hanging out on the deck with the ocean view happened every morning and evening, which was great. Really nice beach chairs an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place. Owner was easy to deal with and worked with me on a couple of requests. Very close to beach. It was closer than I read in the disciption. Nice shower and hose to clean off sand. The bikes and beach chairs are really nice. We brought our own but I wish we didn't.

We were only able to stay one night as I had a medical emergency. Tom and Vicky couldn’t have been nicer in any communication that we had with them. You could tell that they went out of their way to make sure that their home was equipped for an enjoyable time at the beach.

We had a wonderful time in Surf City -just a short walk of 2 blocks to the beach . Toms house was a perfect layout for my family of 7 and stocked with everything you may need. My family had a great time my mamaw came she really enjoyed herself. Loved that the house had beach chairs and bikes. We wasn’t ready to go home after 4 nights. Tom aloud us to stay an extra night with payment since the next guests weren’t arriving until the following day. Can’t wait to go back.

We absolutely loved Tom's place. It was perfect for our family to come stay for spring break week. The house had everything you need including Beach equipment and beach towels which was very nice. The house was very nice and well stocked with necessities and supplies. It has a great floor plan and is well applianced. There was a nice ocean view from the excellent front deck with sun all morning and shade in the late afternoon. Beach access was great with miles of sand beach just across the street. Anything you need for stores, restaurants, shops, bars, etc., were all within 10 to 20 minutes, and there are at least four 18 hole golf courses open within 30 minutes or less. We thoroughly enjoyed our two month stay will definitely be going back next year!

Wonderful relaxing vacation as always at this property. Tom Green makes sure that you have everything you need so you can concentrate on having fun and relaxing. Sitting on the porch, watching and listening to the sounds of the ocean was great. The house is perfectly located within two public beach access points and has a great view considering it’s not on the beach side of the street. We spent a lot of time eating and sitting on the deck to enjoy it! The host was very communicative and caring. The home is well stocked and has bikes and beach chairs in great condition. The only part of our experience that wasn’t 5-star was the cleanliness/maintenance of the house, which would have been good enough for adults or families with older children. However, I would not recommend staying with an infant until a few things are upgraded. Despite a very clean kitchen and other areas, the floors were dirty and the tub/shower needed a good scrub vs just a surface cleaning. The tub also did not have a drain plug and the tub spout diverter was broken. Overall our stay was great, and I would recommend the place for adults and families with older kids.

We loved our stay at Egrets Walk and it has everything you need for a week at the beach. It was the perfect location! Spacious living and kitchen area. The bedrooms were also roomy. Sitting on the deck and gazing at the ocean was the best part of everyday! Very easy access to the beach. We loved that the house provided beach chairs and we did not need to take ours. Our family will stay there again next time we plan a trip to Topsail Island.

We had such a great stay at Tom’s place! The house has a clear view of the ocean and had all the beach gear we needed. The walk to the beach was only 2 minutes, this was great because we could easily go back and forth to the house for snacks, drinks, and bathroom breaks. It was practically just as convenient to get to the beach as an oceanfront house.

This was our 3rd stay at Egret's Walk and was a great week. The home is very well equipped and comfortable, and the covered front porch is wonderful with a nice view of the ocean. We actually ate most of our meals out there! The porch is gated so our dog could also enjoy it. Tom is a great host and we are already booked for next year!

It was a nice place to stay. We had some issues when we got there. The back door, the latch was very difficult to open. Our 18th old granddaughter was crawling on the floor,when we picked her up her hands and knees were black. The small shower curtain liner was black so we replaced it. Went to use the umbrellas and they were broken. The set up of the house was great and it was close enough to the beach access.

Our family had an incredible week at the beach while staying at Egret’s Point. The house is well-equipped with everything you need. It was so relaxing to sit on the covered front porch and have a view of the ocean. We even sat out during a storm on one of the evenings. The walk to the beach was just across the street.
