What a great property. Just the right size, quaint. Three bathrooms - awesome. Big Kitchen, very comfortable. Quiet!! We came to Pepin for my Daughters wedding, a destination wedding, and it was great with no worries. Would recommend it to anyone. Family from Detroit, Iowa and Phoenix converged on Pepin and it was great. Can’t wait to come again. Joe

We had a family wedding at the winery. This home was an excellent location - just a couple minute drive to the wedding. The house was clean, and had all amenities we needed. The owner communicated perfectly just before we were to check in, and the process went exactly as described. The location was beautiful. I loved watching the deer in the morning right outside the home! I would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Pepin, and would stay there again if we are in the area again!

We stayed there for my daughter's wedding. We loved how cute the property is and enjoyed visiting on the porch. Everyone commented on how good the slept and how comfy the mattresses are. Loved how close it is to Villa Bellizza! It was nice to only have a short drive after the reception when others drove to Wabasha. Wish we'd have had more time on the porch. Next time!

Beautiful setting, convenient access

We were in town for a wedding and loved how this property gave us easy access to the Pepin area while still feeling like an escape. We had 6 adults, and the house gave us plenty of room to get ready for the wedding simultaneously. Kitchen had the essentials available for us, and everything was clean and taken care of. Our only note is the wifi is pretty awful — had trouble even loading web pages.

The location was clean and accommodating. It had great space for all of us to stay. We didn’t utilize the trails but could see the beautiful sunsets from the back of the property. I would recommend this location to others for many occasions and to accommodate a small or large party of guests.

Great property off the beaten path. Gorgeous views and sunsets! We enjoyed a girls weekend and took in the 100 mile garage sales! The only suggestion we have is that there could be more lighting in the bathrooms and extra mirrors for getting ready in the mornings.

Great location to the Villa Bellezza. Just what we needed for our 3 day stay wished we had a bit more time for some R & R but had everything we needed to have a very enjoyable stay. Possibly long view mirror and iron/ironing board would be a suggested addition for the rental to aid in stays for those with weddings. Overall enjoyed our stay and we would definitely return. Save many deer, hawks, bald eagles and wild turkeys during our travels between the house and Villa Bellezza.

Clean and comfortable and in a lovely location off a winding road sitting high up and very private. We loved the front porch. We weren't there a lot as our weekend was very busy, but would definitely rent this sweet place again. Thanks for letting us stay!

We loved our stay at Pepin House. 10 of us classmates gathered there for two nights. It was very clean, comfortable, and attractive. Nicely decorated. The hosts were great to work with. The road up to the house was paved. We walked up the hill just a little way and could see the a Mississippi River, Minnesota, and the valley. The area was very quiet and tranquil. The towns of Alma, Pepin, Maiden Rock, Laura Ingalls Wilder birthplace were fun to see. There are many good restaurants in the area including Beth’s, Pier 21 and the Pickle Factory. We would like to return one day. We had no complaints or suggestions.

We stayed here so we could attend a wedding at the winery. I would have appreciated a full length mirror in the master bedroom. It was hard to dress for a wedding without a good size mirror. Nice closets. For the price, it was satisfactory.
