すべての点で良かった。グリンデルヴァルト行く時は必ずまた泊まりたい、今度は連泊して美味しいそうなスイスのコース料理を召し上がりたいと思ってます。 Arigato Naturfreunde

良くない点はない。このホステルを利用する前に概要をよく読まれるをおすすめします。ホテルではないので、自分でタオルを用意したり、到着する時に公共バスを利用したり、事前情報を確認して行かれると快適な滞在になると思います。

Surreal scenery

Owmer is good, dpg is cute, breakfast is good, bus stop is at doorstep which is GREAT! Backyard view is amazing!

No private space. Beds are joint so 3 strangers sleep side by side. No privacy in toilet. Men amd women share same bath and toilet.

Amazing location with great facilities! Felt right at home and experienced the beauty of Grindewald nestled in the mount

Amazing location nestled along the mountains - fantastic views but a very steep walk from the main town, the local bus comes by once every hour. Free local bus travel using the guest pass. Great faculties, clean bathroom and shower, breakfast included. It was pretty quiet during our stay in April. Good heating. Friendly staff. Felt right at home.

Expensive to pay for laundry - 20CHF for a large load. No wifi in the rooms, wifi only accessible in the downstairs living room.

Solid place, but could be good to communicate about no soap/shampoo

Good price for the area, and it had its own bus stop from Grindelwald. Free breakfast was very nice, especially in the very expensive city of Grindelwald. Beautiful views from its kitchen while eating breakfast.

We didn't realize there wouldn't be towels or soap/shampoo, only after the reception was gone for the first night. I would have appreciated if this were communicated beforehand. Also, we didn't see any bugs, but realized halfway into our first night that there were lots of reviews of bedbugs on the floor under us sometime last year for a period of a few months, and were afraid that they might still have been there. The bottom bunk bed being on the floor was a bit scary after realizing this. That said, the hotel may have done a very good job here, as we haven't seen any reviews since then, and it seems the hotel was avoiding giving rooms to the rooms that were said to be affected in the reviews. So the fear (possibly unjustified) of bedbugs was a negative experience, but as we didn't encounter this or hear about other folks encountering it, maybe it's a positive thing overall that the hotel handled this.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und es macht Spass, dass der Gastgeber uns mit Freude bewirtet hat.

Das Frühstück war super frisch und und von allem genug.

Das die Betten keinen Lattenrost sondern starre Untergründe Holz oder Zimmerboden hatten.

Para evaluar

La vista que tiene el hospedaje y el desayuno.

Algo lejos de la estación y el bus tarda mucho en pasar, las camas estaban todas juntas(así está en la foto pero no me di cuenta) y eso no me gusto para nada, no tenía un tomacorriente para mi solo. El sr. de recepción no es tan cordial y no ayuda resolviendo dudas sobre el pueblo. Ojo esto es en habitación compartida, no se como son las habitaciones personales pero estuve a poco de pagar adicional para pasarme a una personal por que e verdad no quería dormir en la compartida. El que cerraran por 5 días los teleféricos reforzó mi desición de irme al siguiente día, me fuí a zurich.

Surprised I enjoyed it more than I expected

Amazing views from the hostel. Breakfast was very enjoyable. I felt safe and slept reasonably well. I was surprised how diverse the age groups were of the other holiday makers.

The shower floor was always wet. The property was at the top of a very steep hill. The bus stopped before 9pm and taxis were a little expensive.

Value for Money

Very clean! The Owner and whole staff was so friendly and helpful! He really made our stay worth. I had booked the hostel solely based on reviews and that was good. The beds are comfortable, blankets are kept in the reception so even if you reach late you will get your room. The breakfast was optimal, fresh and delicious. less options for vegetarian or someone who doesn't eat beef or pork. The breakfast had fresh breads, Swiss milk, Muesli, cornflakes, yoghurt, Berry yoghurt, fresh orange juice, apples. Also beef and pork and cheese slices. Hair Dryer is provided and if you need any first aid they will provide that too. Carry your own toiletteries, handwash is there in washroom. Wifi is strong near reception area

For people who are too old or cant hike or dont have a car - You can't stay late in the Grindelwald city without car as bus connection is only till 18.00 or 18.30. We took our car down or hike a steep mountain to reach up.

Greatest views, quiet and peacefull enviroment.

It was a great experience. The views are extraordinary. One of the most beautiful places I ve Know in switzerland mountains. An excellent place to experience peace

This is a wonderful hostel.the location is good and you can see a wondelful viwe from your room window and the owner is very kind and so nice awesome. So I very love this hostel. Would consider to staying here again.

Very good

Staff were very helpful, explained about the transport and gave a ticket that you could use to get to city center and it was for free. Breakfast was simple and very good. they offer some slice of Ham that was not exposed on the buffet, really goods staff.

No Wi-Fi in the rooms what a find a bit weird. and really think that it should change,

More than word can say... it was amazing!

None, I feel like I'm in the comfort at home having breakfast. Every staff and guest were friendly. The home made bread and swiss peppered cheese was amazing! Highly recommended!

None, although soft flannel duvet cover would add more comfort than crumpled styled one.

Exceptional view

Exceptional view of Eiger! The guesthouse is located uphill, but good thing is there is a bus station is just in front of the property. The staff is nice and friendly, open to help with any request. The breakfast was very nutritious.
