A wondeful oasis with everything you need

La Conchiglia is the heart of this oasis between Positano and Amalfi. The service provided by the owner family was exceptional throughout our stay. There are good restaurants, trattorias and bars nearby, but Conchiglia’s own restaurant also serves excellent dinner and outstanding breakfast. You can take s swim or just enjoy the sun on the small but very nice beach, watching the taxi boats approaching and leaving from the pier.

Nothing to dislike. However, it is good to check up in advance how to reach the place, for instance bus schedules or sea taxi routes. We should have consulted the hotel personnel in advance. Taking a taxi from Positano where we arrived with a ferry was an expensive mistake.

Overall, we were happy with our stay and would recommend!

Location was great- within 3 miles of Amalfi and Positano, with a bus stop right up the driveway to the property. The staff were also very helpful with arranging taxis as needed. The hotel provides wonderful food and is also within walking distance to several restaurants nearby. We loved having access to a private/quieter beach too!

The bathroom/shower situation was pretty tight, but not a big deal. Communication regarding scheduling a car to pick us up from the train station was slow and we ended up having to find a car on our own (not a big deal, just a little frustrating)

Hotel La Conchiglia in Praiano is the place to stay on the Amalfi Coast.

The staff were fantastic. A good breakfast was included. We stayed a week. Quiet location. Good pebble beach. Return water taxis to Positano 75 euro & Amalfi 85 euro - way cheaper than a taxi. Quite a few cafes/restaurants to choose from.

Our only comment would be that the bed was a little hard. After a week I got a little backache.

Perfect stay in Praiano

Perfect location, lovely staff, excellent facilities and great breakfast. We felt apart of the family at Hotel La Conchiglia. Would recommend to anyone staying at Praiano.

Great amenities, free breakfast made by a family who runs the hotel. Very helpful, the daughter spoke great English. She

in a great area! it had mostly everything needed with beach access

it was hard to walk around to different places and explore.

feels like your in a private beach :) , graet rooms.

the location was just amazing, the beach was so nice with attractions like sup, kayak and many more options. the room was nice and big and the stuff was very nice and helpful.

if you want to go to other restaurants and other places in Praiano there is a long walk with lots of stapes, but there isnt much to do in Praiano so we recommend or to stay at the amazing beach or to see other towns around (positano, amalfi... )

the location is the highlight and the breakfast and service were fabulous

it’s a bit tired and lacks any real facilities, you will need to haul your luggage up and down a very steep hill to get here. As with all amalfi coast hotels it’s pricey for what you get

This is an amazing experience staying at the hotel in the marina. Definitely spend a night or two hete for some peace sn

This peaceful marina has a wonderful beach and great restaurants nearby. The view from the top floor room was stunning. The bus stop is up the hill making catching the SITA simple. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. We started the trail right from the main road above the marina which is a 5k 740m climb to the Path of Gods trail. This is a perfect piece of paradise

This property is on the outskirts of Praiano & you will need to catch a bus to town centre. Also other towns are only accessible by bus , taxi or water taxi. No ferry service. These are not negatives just nice go know.

Quiet, beautiful, convenient stay!

This hotel is located in a prime location in Praiano. There is a bus stop located right above the hotel, and you can purchase bus tickets straight from the hotel which was convenient. There is a private beach just a couple meters away from the hotel, although we didn’t have time to enjoy it much. There is fresh breakfast every morning included in the rate of the room, and the views are breathtaking. It is a quieter location, which is what we preferred. The room was comfortable and we had our own private courtyard. The family running this hotel was super hospitable as well. We asked for hot water one night to make some noodles, and the daughter provided us with bowls, forks, and a water heater. Our room was cleaned every day and the cleaning lady even cleaned the bowls that we used! We had such a great stay.

There was always a musty smell as soon as we entered the room, most notably coming from the bathroom. Our room also had many mosquitoes even though the door to the courtyard was always closed.

2 steps from the sea. Wonderful staff. Lovely to see a family run business with real care for their guest and a genuine "please come back" at the end of your stay. Luisa, 83 , preparing breakfast and helping in the kitchen the lovely Pina is just adorable! We will definitely come back. Grazie mille.

Amazing!!

Absolutely everything! Great location right by a lovely pebble beach/marina. Staff is helpful and very kind. Room was great with a large balcony and air conditioning. Amazing breakfast every morning. Top rated restaurants nearby like the trattoria de armadino. I will definitely come back here!

25€ for parking but prices are high for parking all over the Amalfi coast. We managed to find free parking on the street but it was like a 15 min walk from the hotel.

We loved this family run hotel in Praiano. The staff were amazing and when we needed a Covid test for our flight back to the US, they arranged for a doctor to come meet us at the hotel! What a lovely family and a beautiful, quiet and romantic place to stay.

The best place to stay in Amalfi Coast

-the location: it’s just perfect,on the beach Marina di Praia ( best beach on Amalfi coadt in our view) -rooms: beautiful decorated, clean, comfortable -we had a patio all for ourselves to relax at night or morning -the owners: it’s an entire family business from grandparents to grandchildren, so nice people. We felt really authentic to stay and eat at theirs place. -the restaurant: so good food and limencello, amazing. -close to Positano and Amalfi, with water taxi or buses -many good restaurants nearby Can’t wait to come back!

Location is brilliant,right on the beach, bus snd water taxis readily available,making it essy to get sround...the family run business is my fave...the stsff(family) were excellent..helpful,friendly,reliable..besutiful family...breakfast was veryyy good,with the best croiisants ive ever had...the rooms were spacious,clean and all i could ask for...plenty of restaurants inc theirs with good food, right on the beach...loved this place...
