Jungle Wildlife Camp is a great place to stay; right on the Rapti River, you have absolutely stunning views over to Chitwan National Park, and you're super close for any safari activities. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and we organised all our safari tours (with excellent guides, and very reasonably priced) through them; highly recommend.

The location is perfect, right on the riverbank with amazing views of the reserve.
Rooms have a balcony where you can sit and just gaze over the landscape.
All staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the dining restaurant assistant.
Amazing value for money
I'm nit picking here but the toilet wasn't a very good flush, the TV wasn't working very well, these are just small niggles really.
I was disappointed with the buffet breakfast, it needs more choice, and I get the feeling fried food is cooked in old oil.
However, the overall experience and location of the resort is great.

Prachtige locatie aan de rivier. We zagen hier neushoorn en olifant. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

A személyzet rendkívül segítőkész mindenben. A Jeep safarit, meg a dszungel túrát ki ne hagyd. Nagyszerű a túravezető, minden kérdésre tudja a választ. Csak ajánlani tudom ezt a szállást.

The best part of this hotel was the amazing conversations with Sitaram, the waiter at the restaurant and a great friend who will always hold a place in our hearts. He was so attentive and we learned so much from him about the area and his expert topics: birds and football! An amazing person, thank you for everything.
We also have to highlight the breakfast here was incredible, especially with the views of the Rapti River! The best breakfast we had in Nepal and so filling as well. But not just breakfast, we had dinner at the restaurant which once again was amazing, definitely recommend the chicken fried rice :)
Overall the staff and one of the owners are all amazing and the free pick up and drop off from the bus station in a tuc tuc made it even more special. They even welcomed us with a cold lemonade!

There was a big gap under the front door which meant we had some unwanted visitors in our room, we spent a while trying to get a lizard outside. There was also a big wasp nest at the back of the stairs on our floor so we could hear the massive wasps flying outside of our room and one of them came inside, but Sitaram helped us!

This place is in the jungle! Five minutes after I checked in, I literally saw a rhino by the river. And yes, this place has a river and a jungle view! I love sunsets, which made this place perfect for me. It has cottages by the river where you can have a relaxed afternoon listening to different bird sounds, or nature in general. You can easily see crocodiles in the river. I was lucky to see rhinos and elephants having a bath with their caretakers during my stay here. The people working here are the friendliest. The kitchen guy, I forgot his name, he made sure I was well fed. The tour guides, the driver, the receptionists, the owner, all of them, just warm and kind people. I can easily see myself staying here again if I ever come back to Chitwan. Thank You, Jungle Wildlife Camp!
I had no room service when I was there, not a big deal, as I'm not that messy and I also tidy my room before going out. Would have been nice if it was included and I did not need to ask reception for extra rolls of toilet paper. An area for improvement, for sure. Nothing is perfect anyway, and I still had an amazing stay despite this.

the rooms might benefit from some updating

Riverview and location close to center. Good value for money.

We loved the view over the river where we could watch crocodiles and rhinos.
We also liked going on the jungle tours with the same guide from the hotel
The water pressure was very poor so showering was a challenge. Also the aircon unit dripped into the bathroom, so the floor was always wet.

Great location for watching wildlife on the river from the restaurant. Bring a pair of binoculars if you have them as you can see over into the national park when it's clear.
Rooms are a little tired and the showers don't get fully hot (we stayed in January). But for the price this hotel is very good value.

Location was fantastic - right on the Rapti River. Sittram, the gentleman who worked in the restaurant/bar was just the best. Anything you needed, he took care of. Came to knock on our door when a rhino appeared on the riverfront. Incredibly hardworking. Incredibly knowledgeable. Five minute walk into town.
Didn’t like that all incidentals at the property were on a tab. There was no clear signage indicating prices for those incidentals. I strongly suggest that if you stay here, you ask for your incidentals bill to be provided in English - not Nepalese - to prevent any misunderstanding. Also strongly suggest that you do not use the laundry services at the hotel, which I understand are outsourced. The prices are *very* high.

The Location was relatively central to reach in touristic places.
The Room we booked was smelling with mould (Dhusi ganaune). Although we booked deluxe Doublebed room, we had to change the room. Room was not clean. Bathroom was also not nice to use. Breakfast had really little choice. Specially the Trip we booked from Hotel was the most expensiv. For every Booking they took 500 Rupees more per person. Even the trip which cost 25 Ruppes, they were taking 200 Ruppes. At beginning i had no idea and let them book everything. Later i got to know and did regret a lot. never Again und i dont give recommendation to Stay there.

The rooms and the resort is a real value for money just by the river. The staff is really amazing as well.
The breakfast could have been a lot better it was cold food. for breakfast on a winter morning

Amazing location, right on the river so saw lots of animals like rhinos and crocodiles. Staff were amazing, the waiter in particular was outstanding. Clean good size rooms with mosquito nets above the beds.
Genuinely can’t think of anything.

Staff were so lovely and informative about Chitwan - very helpful when booking tours. Lovely room and restaurant! Sunset was beautiful.
Wifi did not connect unless in reception.

none.
Firstly staff have no idea how the rooms are presented on the platform. The deluxe double room was not as we have expected… really disappointed with the room. We called the venue as we supposed to reach there by 9pm to check that the last call for food is at and staff informed us that the kitchen is closed at 9pm recommended us to eat outside, which is fine we did so. We reached at 9:15pm after having dinner outside. double checked once again and another disappointed that staff told us their kitchen closed at 10pm. Just a honest feedback.

The view on the national park is worth every penny. Also the personell was really kind! Also free transfer to the bus station.
Some things weren't working in the room - too short sheets for us and a lot of bugs in the bed when we arrived. But hey, you are in the jungle right ;) we enjoyed our overall stay a lot.

the Jungle Wildlife Camp has a perfect location right at the riverbank of the Rapti river which separates Sauraha from the national park. from here we had a perfect viewpoint on rhinos which sometimes cross the river to the village or cool down from the heat in water holes, as well gavial and marsh mugger crocodiles and elephants.

Good location. Town is a short walk. All safaris can be arranged by hotel. Scooter hire near by. Hotel is right in edge of river where elephants and rhinos can be seen close up.
Could be cleaner

Hotel on the bank of the river, right across Chitwan national park. From the rooms its possible to see animals like elephants and birds and sometimes rhinos as well. You’re still basically in a jungle so don’t expect a 5 star hotel, but rooms are comfortable and there’s AC too (absolutely necessary in the heat of Chitwan). Staff is extremely friendly and they organize several trips and safaris. We especially enjoyed the walking safari where we could get super close to a rhino taking a bath, but they also organize canoe and jeep safari that are as nice.

Location: right by the river, across from the national park. You get to see the animals, whenever they come to have a drink and rest at the river. We managed to spot wild rhinos, deer, and elephants, right from the comfort of the restaurant and at our room balcony. Plus points for an amazing sunset view everyday.
Hospitality: the staff are absolutely fantastic! They were so attentive, and really made sure we had the best time. Whenever an animal would come to the river, they would come jetting up to our room to tell us to come out and see.
Room: our room was at the end of the 3rd floor, which really gave us the best view possible. 😍 it was clean and spacious for us, as a traveling couple.
Restaurant: they are well-stocked and can cater to whatever you need. Sometimes, they would even go the extra mile and go out to restock, if they know you like something. Everything we ate was super delicious. Never a bad meal.
Experience: Everything was seamless and convenient. They really did take care of everything. We didn't book a package online or anything. We arrived at the bus station, not expecting to get picked up, but there they were. That was free. They also took us to the airport for a small fee. Tours can easily be booked with them. The prices are reasonable and the service is wonderful!

It's first time in Chitwan and we made the right choice to chose this hotel as our home. We really enjoy the river view, jungle, animals along the river. Everything was perfect for us. The hotel staff was very friendly and take care of us and also woke us up in the early morning for spotted the wild animal. We would definitely come again. One more thing, we really happy to see the Rhino for our good memory there.
