Nach heftiger Intervention gegen die Zimmer wurden bessere Zimmer zur verfügung gestellt.

Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal. Das Wlan sehr gut.

Die Zimmer entsprechen nicht mehr den Fotos. Deluxe Zimmer vollkommen abgewohnt und renovierungsbedürftig.

Amazing experience with Sapana

Friendly staff, quiet enough, wonderful breakfast, wide and spacious room, we like amazing hot shower any time. We hired a beautiful car and driver with hotel manager Narayan. Thank you See you next time Namaste

Fantastic place in Kathmandu

I went to Kathmandu on the way to China for one night I booked Hotel Sapana Garden and reached my expectation as money i have paid. The hotel located in a quiet place in thamel, big room which i get maybe because of they upgraded for free to suit room to me and they have beautiful garden views from my room. Thank you Narayan for your service and I definitely come back for longer time.

I have been there in rainy season so i have seen some footprints of shoes at the lobby area.

Fantastic experience in Kathmandu!

Everything about our experience was fantastic. Narayan, the manager, assisted us with ensuring we had reservations for Zip fly at Nagarkot and that we had opportunity to do other activities around the Kathmandu should we like; Bibek the receptionist was extremely helpful in providing us to the details about the property and the surroundings and taking care of any small needs we had (i.e. a cab to Boudha). Additionally, Suman at the restaurant was fantastic - He kept us laughing and suggesting good dishes. At the garden - the main attractive spot where we ate breakfast every day and lunch most days, Anoj, Suman, and Pratikshya were most hospitable and always remembered the small details - like that I work with hospitalized children. And those are just the names I remember! Overall, aside from the views, the staff was the highlight for me. 10/10 would recommend, and would definitely return!

Do not book this hotel if you do not want to climb stairs, they lack an elevator!

The Hotel was fantastic.

Reflecting on my stay in Kathmandu, I can confidently assert that if I were to revisit the city, selecting this hotel would be a definite choice. To kick things off, the hotel's proximity to key attractions, just a short 15-minute walk from the Kathmandu Durbar Square, adds a distinct advantage. The rooms themselves are adorned with charming Nepalese decor and come complete with modern amenities like air conditioning. A thoughtful perk is the complimentary breakfast stocked with an array of beverages, including water, juices, and soft drinks—truly a gesture that goes a long way. The breakfast spread, while not vast in selection, truly excels in terms of quality, which, in my opinion, makes it a perfect choice. The hotel staff, ever eager to ensure a memorable experience, stands out in their warmth and hospitality. There are a few individuals whose exceptional friendliness truly stood out. I vividly recall Narayan from the team, as well as his female counterpart, whose name escapes me. She diligently served throughout the week, shining particularly bright on the weekends. Additionally, I want to acknowledge Sita from the front desk, whose name might not be perfectly spelled here, but whose helpfulness left a lasting impression. A noteworthy incident occurred when I unintentionally left the room service indicator unchanged, resulting in the room not being serviced. It was my oversight, yet the night staff, including a male colleague whose name remains a mystery to me, promptly furnished us with fresh towels, water, and all that we needed. Overall, the entire staff exuded a kindness that significantly elevated the hotel's atmosphere.

Highly recommended place.

Beautiful clean room! Big bathroom and super comfortable beds. Restaurants and clubs in walking distance.

The parking lot is Smaller and there is no elevator to go to the room.

Family trip to Nepal.

Narayan and his team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I needed three items pressed and they had all items back to me in perfect order within hours. I left my laptop adapter at home and they found me one to use. The breakfast is lovely and the cappuccino started my day off perfectly. Just a lovely experience and hotel.

We stayed here for the first time, will not be our last. 30 mins walk to Kathmandu Square , in fact, this place is located very central to anywhere. The staff are top class, make you feel very much a friend, at home and a VIP, and it’s natural. From reception, tour suggestions to the breakfast and room cleaning staff I must rate these guys the best, yes the best and I’ve stayed in many places in cities, from London to Milan to NYC to Paris to many capitals including Rome. I could write pages on how good this place is, but in summary, I would highly recommend, and will be staying here every time I visit Kathmandu. Thank you Sapana Garden ❤️

The most pleasant of this hotel is the manager, who helped with luggage, printing documents, breakfast, getting taxi, information and etc stuff. Very responsible person, who you can trust and who makes your stay in Kathmandu softer and more comfortable. Thank you very much.

Cheap but dirty and lacking maintenance.

Location is right in centre

Bathroom was falling apart literally. Walls were grubby. And the bed had more dust in the duvet then a front door floor matt.

Very helpful and sweet staff, responses quickly. The service from the staff make up the points loss by facilities and surroundings. Location is not bad, at the city center. Room is big with a balcony.

Sound isolation doesn’t exist at all. No soundproofing! The surroundings is extremely noisy. At midnight even at 3, 4, 5 am, there were people walking back to the hotel next door and made very loud noise. This part is what not the hotel can control, but just for those who need quiet sleep worth to mention it here. The staff who work in the kitchen come very early in the morning to prepare the breakfast and we can unfortunately hear all the sounds (open closing doors, taking the plates out, putting the forks and knives, moving the chairs etc.) clearly from our room.

I love the staff, Sudarshan is the heart and soul of this place. I felt at home with the housekeeping staff and the kitchen staff. I would stay here again just because of the staff

Nice place in the middle of Thamel

The staff is quite friendly and do the best they can to accommodate your wishes. The rooms are decent, clean and nice. The wifi is good. The garden is pretty. Besides that, the location is great. It's right in the middle of Thamel, yet offers some peace and quiet in the midst of the chaos.

The rooms look a teeny tiny bit better on the pictures, but it's not like it truly dissapointed us. They are still really clean and cosy. So honestly, there's little negative to say about our stay.

Excellent stay

Everything was perfect. Not only the location or the comfort of the room but all the staff as well. Super helpful, good advice, good breakfast too. Great WiFi and hot shower. Came back a second time because I loved it!
