Great space, great location, very clean and nicely decorated
Beds are very soft

The location was excellent for the town centre. There was loads of space and the living room was spacious and comfy.
The stairs to the property were very steep.
4.5
Good central location. A spacious apartment with everything we needed. Plenty of seating. We were a party of five, all family with two people visiting from Australia. They loved Chester
The beds were not very comfortable. The entrance has steep narrow steps.

Property location was amazing. Near everything! The living room was cozy and large. The place comes equipped with all the basics. Overall, very nice!
The beds weren't very comfortable, although that's been my experience at any rental, so it wasn't a negative against the place for me. Also, this may have been pointed out and I just missed it when I booked, but the outside stairs are quite steep and narrow, so I'd give a little more warning in the pre-reads about that.
3.5
amazing location although the access would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues
I felt it was tired, stained carpets and poor quality furnishings
4.5
Ample space for all, nice and clean apartments. Good utensils in the kitchen.
The windows are little old if this was not warm days we might have impacted due to cold.
4.0
The location was perfect
The stairs to the apartment were a little steep with the little ones
5.0
location,clean ,tidy
single glazed windows caused a slight chill but not really a massive issue

The apartment is very conveniently located in the middle of Town if you don't mind the noise that this inevitably brings with it. Right opposite the Slug and Lettuce and above a taxi rank, so noise continues until the early hours of the morning. The apartment inside is comfortable and well-equipped, though a bit run-down generally.
Unfortunately the access to the apartment is via a filthy cobbled street, lined with local restaurant bins, slippery cardboard and broken glass. Also very smelly in the summer! To get to the door of the apartment you have to tackle some very steep steps which was frightening to negotiate with my mother, who is in her eighties and a bit wobbly. My other comment would be that the stairs inside the properly need a rail to make them safe.

Right in the centre

Very clean, very well equipped with all needs, high quality materials, great location in city centre, convenient self check in and out with very clear instructions and plan before moving in.
The only unavoidable downside is the entrance of the flat near bins of the area + unsafe stairs
2.0
The flat was large, clean & nicely decorated.
Great location but as expected a little noisy at night
The flat inside is over 2 steep stairs
The entrance is beyond steep & I would class dangerous
Nothing in the description said it would not be suitable for anyone with even a mild problem with climbing .
You need to be able to climb 3 lots of very steep, narrow stone stairs outside ( which is the fire escape )before you even enter the building.
You are level with the roof of the next door before you even enter.
The stairs we so bad I had to book a hotel as I could not enter safely.
My daughter with toddler stayed with me as it too risky carrying him down in the rain.

Ideal location for the city centre
Having stayed here 3 years ago we knew what to expect with all the stairs, but the decor and furnishings have not been updated in that time. Its in desperate need of some TLC in some areas (recarpetting, bathroom door handle has no screws, hand rail on the staircase) Also needs a good dust in higher parts like light shades
2.5
Location is great and size of apartment is good
access past smelly bins, broken glass and dog fesses and very steep steps. Property is a very tired throughout, in need of a deep clean and lick of paint.
4.0
Location was amazing, right in the centre so everything was within walking distance.
The flat was spacious enough for us all.
The entrance to the flat wasn't great with it being up an alley full of bins, but this was identified before arrival so it wasn't a surprise.
The street outside can be really noisy so bring earplugs!
4.5
Lovely apartment right in the centre
3.5
Good central location for a city break with easy access to a number of good bars and restaurants
Easy to get in and out of Chester and the city is very pretty
Nice large apartment with spacious living areas
Clean and well equipped
No on-site parking so need to park in pay and display car park 10 minutes walk away. Not really that inconvenient but you need to factor in parking costs to the stay
The property is nice but accessible through a cobbled alleyway and then steep stone steps. Wasn't a problem for us but would not be suitable for elderly or disabled party members.
2.5
Central location! Size of property!
Entrance to property very off putting as filthy!
Lack of kitchen equipment!
No bedding for spare duvet and pillows! They were stained and unsuitable for use!
3.5
The property it’s self was fine a few bits we noticed when it rained like leaking windows but other than that fine location is perfect
The property it’s self was fine how ever as others have said the passage way to the apartment isn’t the best crowded with bins and the steps leading up to the property we’re very very step
