Great restful stay

Orla was very welcoming and accommodating during my stay at Tara Lodge. The bedroom was spacious and bright with plenty of towels and extra milk provided for tea and coffee. The breakfast was delicious and a great start to each morning with big portion sizes that would stock anyone up for the day. I didn't really use wi-fi while there so can't comment on that. Location was handy for me as I didn't want to be right in the City Centre all the time. I mostly walked into the City but the 405 bus was close by and worked like Dublin Bus. It accepts leap cards, is viewable on the TFI app and goes to Eyre Square so that was handy.

Amazing hosts and house!

Orla and Mike couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. Our stay was wonderful because of them. The room and location are very good as well. Definitely highly recommended.

Host was excellent, the breakfast was superb and I had a safe place to put my bike … thank you

No bath plug so I couldn’t have a soak … but it didn’t matter that much because the shower was good

Exceptional

The owner was super nice, offered lift from the bus station to the B&B, always asking how we are and if we need something. The facilities were very clean, we felt like we are home. The room and the bed were comfortable. The location was ok, not too close to the center but not too far too. Easy to reach the center with a bus. Amazing breakfast, beautifully served. İ definitely recommend!

A really lovely B+B, very comfortable, excellent breakfast, with fresh fruit , yogurts, full range of cereals, range of breads, and fab cooked full Irish breakfast.Really fabulous value. A great example of a traditional B&B. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic B&B

Orla was very kind and breakfast was just amazing, home prepared Irish breakfast with everything you can imagine. We recommend this B&B with no doubt. A car is needed, but I think there is a bus stop nearby.

Maybe the bed size was a bit small than we expected for a couple.

Superb

Great value for money, beautiful well cooked breakfast included for a very reasonable price. Welcoming helpful hosts. Good location on the outskirts of the city, ideal for short stays if visiting Galway.

I could not recommend this place enough.

The room was very sweet and comfortable. It had everything I could have wanted in it, including a bath tub! It had a hair dryer, a big comfortable bed, closet space, a coffee/tea station and kettle and cold water and fresh milk was brought to me upon arrival. On top of that, it was sweetly decorated and smelled good. Breakfast was amazing, and the hosts were so helpful and kind.

Olda is such a nice and caring host. We have loved Tara Lodge and the days we have spent there. The room was very cozy and quiet with a private toilet. The Irish breakfast was great!

Amazing host, delicious breakfast!

Orla was a fantastic host with great attention to detail - we could really tell that she's been doing this for a long time. We felt extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the bed was cozy. The breakfast really sealed the deal. Overall, one of my favorite stays anywhere!

A comfortable and convenient place to visit Galway.

The attention and care we recieved from the moment we arrived. Friendly, efficient and incredibly attentive. A great place to stay in. Breakfast was abundant and tasty and the personal support by our host was really appreciated.

There is nothing bad to be said about either the place nor the people. Hence I won't ellaborate.

Most certainly will be going back to the Tara Lodge B&B again everything was to our sadesfaction

Breakfast was perfect we have no complaints what so ever every thing about the B&B and location was perfect for us and easy to get taxis without having to drive in city

There was nothing we dident like everything was perfect and out host was realy realy and helpful.
