Room was very clean, kettle in room, kindly put me a small fridge in the room for my medication. Room 9 was recently refurbished with a firm 12” deep mattress on the bed. Shower, though small, was very powerful. Big tv on wall, only a short stroll to shops, good Chinese restaurant opposite. The bar was good and there was seating outside as well. Only 4 minutes drive from Grantham Hospital or a 15-20 minute walk. Check out was 10.30am but I was allowed to sit in the reception for as long as I needed after check out which was great as my husband was being discharged from hospital at 2pm following a hip replacement.
No lift, and no one to help carry heavy luggage.
Our room was on the front of the hotel and the traffic was noisy on the first night, but better on the second. (Very hot day so needed windows open).
We were expecting breakfast but on arrival saw a notice on reception that due to unforeseen circumstances the kitchen was closed for the 2 days we were there! It would have been nice to be warned.
You need to turn left before the hotel down a side road to the car park- a sign or a message up front would have helped as the info online did not make this clear.

Comfortable clean room very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent with choice of cereals fish fruit yogurt and juice, also tea coffee and pastries. Selection of preserves for toast after cooked breakfast for which there was a good selection and food was cooked to order and arrived hot and very tasty. Hotel very close to town centre but on a fairly quiet side road. Staff friendly and helpful. Recent refurbishment has really helped the look and feel of the hotel.
Difficult to think of any improvement! All exceeded our expectations and price was reasonable too - great value for money.

Martin was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction of the gym and telling me about the main attractions and things to do around town. The coffee machine in the deluxe rooms was a nice treat. All staff very helpful and friendly and the mixed grill was unbelievable with the price, unfortunately didn’t have time for breakfast.

My husband loved the full English breakfast, plates were hot. Our rooms were very warm which was welcoming on a cold day.

The location was great, plenty of stores around and easy to find and access the property. own car park was also a nice touch.
The wifi was very weak on the top floor and the Netflix didn’t work because the tv wasn’t connected to the internet.

Such a great hotel, so clean and great beds etc. Car park great too. The lady was so helpful, printed out something for me that I needed urgently. Location amazing in centre of town .
o make it a 10 out of 10 a breakfast offering would have been nice. But not a deal breaker. I will return!

Value for money wise, this venue exceeded my expectations. Parking was on premises and free. Wifi reception was good. Staff went out of their way to help. Bathroom was cramped but adequate, making it great for an overnight stopover. Room comfort was better than some charging three times the price.
Pub/hotel accommodation has the advantage of adequate parking, but can be noisy because of patrons. You have to expect that. The rooms aren’t soundproof. However after an initial flurry of loud chatter when guests arrived back in their rooms after a night out, it stopped. That’s typical of that style of accommodation and worth a couple of minutes disturbed sleep given the price charged. After that it was quiet. No street noise.

Staff friendly and helpful, beds very comfortable with extra pillows, fans, covers in wardrobe bathroom a little small but manageable, hotel was spotless and close to all amenities I would recommend and would definitely stay there again if in the area

The room was a decent size and had all the facilities that I needed, with a desk, tea/coffee making facilities, a wardrobe and a shower en-suite. It was a bonus to have some shower gel in the shower. Although the front desk was not manned all the time, this was not a problem and access was straightforward. Free parking behind the accommodation was nice to have.
Unfortunately, my room was above the public bar and, whilst not super-noisy, there was just enough noise (music bass beat and occasional shouts, etc) until around midnight to stop me going off to sleep.
There was also a fancy coffee pod machine in the room but it didn't work, which was disappointing.

Location was excellent and the team really helpful when we arrived early. We were able to check in early and leave our car which made our day super easy.
A little dated in furnishing and quite noisy in our room but on our budget it was clean and did the job. Lovely coffee machine but no pods to use it.

The room was large and very comfortable, one double bed and two single beds. There was a large JVC TV in the room. The bathroom has a bath with a shower in it, WC and sink. My only criticism was the mirror in the bathroom was too high for a 5' 2" person but there was a full length mirror on the back of the room door. The full English breakfast with yoghurt, croissants, cereal and toast was lovely although a little bit steep at £12 a head. All the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Hotel owner was great. We arrived very early as we had a memorial starting at 1pm, and needed to get changed. They only had one of the rooms ready but were very helpful and allowed our party to drop our bag off and get dressed. Hotel also has its own bar which is great and very friendly.

Very hot shower and thick towels!
Coffee, tea and kettle provided which was a bonus for the early morning get-up!
