Welcoming, cosy and restful.

Very clean and cosy, nice touches, comfortable mattress: not too soft or hard, good communications with friendly host Lisbeth about our late arrival, she was very accommodating. Nice healthy breakfast with assortment of rolls/bread, choices of cheese, choices of other items. Perfectly boiled eggs, not hardboiled, not too runny.

No capacity for other ways of having egg, but not a big issue. Would have liked more hanging facilities in room & bathroom for bath towels etc.

Goed voor 1 nacht

Badkamer was klein, ontbijt was beperkt in keuze maar wel goed van smaak, locatie is langs een grote weg maar dat wist ik op voorhand dus geen goede locatie maar daar klagen wij niet over.

Slechte wifi op het verdiep, prima daarentegen in de keuken. Bed was vrij smal en de badkamer was wel heel klein.

Perfekt. Lige hvad vi gik efter

Hyggeligt sted og super centralt. Vi havde en god oplevelse. Ved ikke om det er fordi vi er vant til at sove i en stor seng, men den virkede bare så smal. Men ingen problemer. Den var god at ligge på. Pris og kvalitet hænger sammen. Stedet er super centralt og det var lige hvad vi søgte.

Bredere seng. Og måske et spejl man kan sidde ved kunne være fint.

Good value!

It was in a location that suited us for our visit to Kolding. It was a good room with a comfy bed and a small pentry.

The bathroom was very crammed, just next to the bed. Also you had to make your own bed on arrival. Was a little like a hostel. Check out is 10am and no possibility to request a late check out.

Godt og hyggeligt sted, men meget larm fra brandstation

Værten var mega sød, og imødekommede vores ønsker om meget tidlig indtjekning. Morgenmaden var også rigtig fin, og godt udvalg iforhold til det var et bed and breakfast

Der er ekstremt lydt og da stedet ligger ved en brandstation, var der hele tiden udrykning.

The apartment though says for 3 people, is quite small compared. The windows were not well insulated.

Geen ontbijt genomen. Badkamer was klein en de douche was gekoppeld aan de leiding van de was kraan. Dus om te douchen moest de kraan ook open. Zonde van water.

Rekommenderar varmt en övernattning med familjen!

Prisvärd och god frukost! Perfekt med ett stort rum och ett litet rum för barnen! Trevligt bemötande och god service! Kombinerade övernattning med ett besök på Trappholt och hade turen att få fribiljetter av vår värdinna❤️

Bra om det funnits information så att man kunde boka frukost när man bokade rummet.

Super Lage. Mega freundliches Personal. Authentisches dänisches Frühstück.

Zu wenig Parkplätze direkt an der Unterkunft. (Es gibt jedoch kostenfreie Möglichkeiten im Umkreis)

Schlechtes Preis Leistungsverhältnis

Die Besitzerin was sehr nett und das Frühstück gut. Wenn man von den Mängeln der Zimmer absieht, wurde sich Mühe gegeben eine gemütliche Atmosphäre zu gestalten. Ich hätte mir aber lieber ein brauchbares und sauberes Zimmer gewünscht, statt Kerzenschein im Flur.

Das Zimmer war extrem klein und kalt. Zwei Fensterfronten zur Straße haben zum einen für Lärm und zum anderen für Kälte gesorgt. Ich musste bei aufgedrehtem Heizkörper, mit Pullover und dicken Socken schlafen. Weiter war das Bett eine Katastrophe. Die Decken und Kissen waren nicht bezogen, somit kam der schlechte Zustand besonders zum Vorschein. Die Decken hatten Löcher und Schimmel an den Rändern angesetzt und sowohl Decken als auch Kissen waren vergilbt und machten keinen sauberen Eindruck. Wir haben das Zimmer aus Sorge auf Bettwanzen kontrolliert, aber zum Glück keine gefunden. Gewundert hätte es mich jedoch nicht. Das Bett war außerdem sehr unbequem, die Sprungfedern spürbar und man wippte von einer zur anderen Seite. Zu zweit fast schon abenteuerlich. Wir kamen am Abend an, sodass wir unsere Mängel nicht adressieren konnten. Das Zimmer wurde mit „Hafenblick“ deklariert, dieser Blick wurde aber durch die vierspurige, laute Straße eher zu einem Erlebnis auf das wir hätten verzichten können. Ein Blick auf eine Wand hätte uns besser getan. Das Bad war auch sehr klein, es gab keine Haken für Handtücher, wir waren zu zwei und mussten uns irgendwie sortieren. Der einzige Stauraum, eine Kommode, war von innen auch ranzig. Wir haben unsere Koffer lieber geschlossen gelassen.Glücklicherweise waren wir auch nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft. Leider kann ich diese so gar nicht weiterempfehlen.

Good value for money, especially for those with affinity for art and simplicity.

Very friendly owner, being very accommodating on my extra demands. Convenient location and lovely prepared breakfast buffet in a cozy environment. Close to the station, city and the fjord - yet not too centrally located.

Noise transmits somewhat easily in the house - and initially I had to get used to the relatively lively morning outside environment.

Spartanskt boende mitt i en vägkorsning

Lätt att hitta. Bra att kunna låsa upp med en kod för oss som anlände sent. Trevlig värdinna.

Det var mycket ljud och ljus utifrån. Vi hade en hörnlägenhet med bilvägar utanför och inga ljudisolerade fönster. Ett fönster saknade dessutom gardiner att dra för. Vi var beroende av sömn då vi skulle fortsätta vår långa bilresa söderut tidigt på morgonen så detta boende blev inte bra för oss. Vi fick information om att mobilepay eller kontant betalning gällde, men sedan visade det sig att det ändå gick att betala med kort. Överlag ett mycket spartanskt boende.

The rooms were rather noisy (there were a lot of sirens speeding by during the night) and the area around the parking garage seems dodgy. We were actually worried about the safety of our car.

It was a very nice place. A little quirky but good. We got a parking place which was great, but only 3 places. The location is great as very close to centre restaurants etc

I think it was a great place. It is an old office building I think transformed to a bed and breakfast. This was done economically which of course is reflected in the price

Very nice place to stay...We definitely will be back!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was extremely warm and friendly 😀 Awesome breakfast! Very good location, super close to Kolding Central Station.

The noise of the cars was not ideal, but we managed to get some sleep.

Kolding a nice place to visit. Villa Gertrude invites us to stay and be comfortable.

It was a cool Saturday breakfast- simple, complete but all tasteful. It has to be planned, because the space is for 10-12 people.

very rudimentary interior- no effort to make it comfortable and cozy. double bed was very narrow and you had to make put the duvet covers in yourself. weird place.
