Réveillon à Bâle

Chambre très propre, bonne literie. Emplacement à quelques minutes à pied de barfüsserplatz, donc du centre-ville de Bâle. Places de parking dans les rues alentours (payantes sauf dimanches et jours fériés)

Pas de plateau bouilloire dans la chambre, prix de la nuitée un peu élevée pour un français 😀

Location is perfect Breakfast superb I like the special additions Olives cucumbers tomatoes meat cheese eggs Beautiful and very nice people

Friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs would have been nice.

A fridge in the room would be useful. And a drinks distributor.

Great choice for those who prefer the personal touch

Quiet but convenient location close to the old town and SBB station Fully staffed hotel including check in / out Staff friendly and helpful - left our luggage at Reception on check out day Room immaculate and modern ( super convenient charger sockets ) Breakfast good The free Basel card - gives reductions on museums etc

The bathroom was a tight squeeze with lots of wasteful individual plastic bottles of toiletries No kettle in the room Tiny lift ! The price, not as expensive as Zürich but nonetheless Basel isn't a bargain

Hotel Birsighof is an ideal base to stay a few days and enjoy Basel and the region.

It was nice staying for a week at a friendly, independent hotel which had all the facilities you might expect from a chain hotel. Hotel Birsighof is really conveniently located for the city centre and the railway station in a nice neighbourhood (although they all seemed nice in Basel). The staff were very attentive to all our needs and we enjoyed having the buffet breakfasts. There is a nice courtyard garden at the back for relaxing.

The room was a little small but that's normal in city centre hotels.

good location, people were fantastic

no Aircon so uncomfortably hot. also very expensive at that time due to Art Basel, as were all the hotels at that time, bad timing on my part.

Tidy hotel in central Basel

good location from restaurants, bars and about 15 minutes’ walk from Basel main train station. very clean room, number 35, suitable for solo traveller. I hear the breakfast here is good but I didn’t have it as I had to leave early.

The bathroom was tiny, you can’t really shut the door when you are in it, but the shower had plenty of pressure.

The water pressure is a bit small for me to wash my hair.

Good location, clean, small, traffic noise

Clean, real down duvets, heated bathroom floor, wash cloths, excellent location for those that love to explore by foot. A family-run operation. Very gracious to allow us an early check-in.

By Swiss standards it might be a good value but is expensive for a small room compared to other places in Europe. Street-facing rooms have traffic and people noise especially on weekend nights (a bit of a bar crowd traversing outside at all hours). Check-in a bit of a long exercise (again may be normal to the Swiss).

Adequate - but not rebookable

We thought breakfast was included as we have genius status - but no. We were staying with family and wanted to cancel but the owner told us we were on a non-refund deal. The room was very clean, but small - and the bed was the smallest we had slept in for decades.

Bigger room, bigger bed.

Very nice hotel a short walk from the historic centre of Basel. Lots of parking nearby. Friendly and efficient staff made our stay excellent.
