Rooms were very clean, with a very nice space, wc was big, the view was incredible and the bed was super confortable. I Guess the girl who gave us the keys is named Tatiana and she was super nice and kind.
I guess the distance from the center its a little bit significante because of the short offer of taxis (at least during my stay )

Stunning location

The room was spacious and quite well stocked.
You had to unlock the door to get out of the room and also out of the building at night. This could be a safety hazard in the event of a fire as even if you have the key it is an extra step before you can get out. The breakfast was well provided for. However as it was provided in the room the day before, sometimes the bread was not all that fresh.

Amazing breakfast put directly into the room in the afternoon!
Amazing views of the ocean!
Very large room!
Great owner!

The room was extremely spacious and it was possible to cook something if necessary. When I booked it I thought it was only a room but they were all small apartments with kitchenettes. The hotel is situated by a quiet road and has fantastic views to the sea. There is a snack-bar downstairs where you can have burgers or other quick bites. There's a car parking and it's fast to drive to Horta. A nice place to stay near Horta.
I would have liked to have breakfast downstairs in the snack-bar with fresh bread, with service, instead of getting it in the room the evening before.

I loved the large windows that let the island enter into the flat and made it very bright with beautiful views! The manager was very kind meeting our requests for gluten-free bread. Daily cleaning, generous breakfast, parking, quiet despite the pub below, very good value for money. I recommend.
Nothing in particular

The ocean facing view was beautiful to wake up to and allowed for a lot of natural light. Windows opened up if you wanted to listen to the ocean. Breakfast included was more than enough, and was replenished daily with juice, milk, bread, meats, cheese, cake, and coffee. The property was conveniently located just outside of the town of Horta, in between the airport and ferry port. There is a restaurant just below the property that was always busy with locals which was a good sign, although I didn’t dine there. You also didn’t hear the noise from the restaurant in your room which was great.
The majority of rooms seem to be two twin beds pushed together which was not ideal as I was traveling with my partner but it was the only room available to book, even though we didn’t see any other guests staying there at the time. Host was not very responsive or around for check-in or check-out, but was okay we had what we needed.

The check-in was easy, the staff was friendly. The ocean views from the all rooms of our spacious flat were exceptional. There was a restaurant on-site which was great when open. The staff stocked delicious food items in our kitchen each day for breakfast, and we had a coffee maker. The table in the kitchen was great to work on. The beds were comfortable, and there was heating which came in handy as it was chilly during our rainy winter stay. There were cubicles to place our clothes in, hangers, benches, a comfortable couch, and additional chairs. We really enjoyed it, and would definitely stay again if we return to Horta.
We had a lovely lunch at the hotel restaurant the day we checked in, but after that, it closed down. It was off season, but we didn't realize it would be completely closed. Since we didn't have a car, we needed to walk into town to get food. Not a real bother, but we were looking forward to a meal or having drinks on-site outside of our room, as it was such a glorious location.

location was perfect, views from windows 🥰
kitchen was well equipped, breakfast was also good.
The owner of aparthotel is very friendly and helpful, Thank you a lot for everything!
cleanliness in the apartment 🙁
windows are dirty, furniture with dirty spots, the shower had dirty glass and mold, bed sheets and blankets were damp and not perfectly clean, dust on surfaces.
However the kitchen was clean!

Large flat with the conforts as you can see in the site's pictures. Good breakfast. Under the flat there is a gastropub where you can eat burgher or salad. The ocean is in front of you. The owner is very helpfull. 15 minute walk to center.
In general, the cleaning of the apartment could be more accurate, especially that of the floor and the bathroom.

The location is perfect just in front of the ocean and 5 minutes driving from Horta center. The room was very nice with three windows with view over the ocean, it was very clean and the breakfast was served in the room and It was very nice.
In the bathroom the light was not enough and the mirror above the sink was probably at a height of 130 cm, therefore, impossible to shave or use the mirror.

Very big and open flat right in front of the ocean. Great variety of breakfast (they put in to the fridge the day before), also delicious burgers from the inhouse restaurant. Owner and stuff are really nice and helpful.
We had a very pleasant stay!

The apartment is well equipped, confortable and with nice views. the breakfast in the room was good.
We expected a more lively place, the café restaurant in 3 days of the peak season was open just one evening and there was no real indication of the actual opening time. There is no real presence even if the owner was timely in answering with the chat. it is not far from downtown - 20 minutes walk -but was IMPOSSIBLE to find a taxi before 7 am to reach the ferry station in a whole day search. Even if very close to the town, better avoid without a car.

Our apartment (on the corner) was really great. Lots of room. Lots of windows. Very good kitchen and bathroom. Comfy bed. You sleep to the sound of the waves hitting the shore right across the road. The staff was great when we needed them for a simple problem. We did not get to try the restaurant but it looked good.
There's some traffic noise during the day if you happen to be home. It dies down to almost nothing after dark.

Very kind staff in the hotel and restaurant. Rooms with incredible view. Very big rooms incl. kitchen with every device you need. Very big bathroom. Breakfast is very good. Breakfast gets delivered to the rooms. We fully recommend eating dinner in the restaurant. Reservation is recommended. Parking is provided very good. Rooms are silent. View to the ocean from the bed, kitchen, and even from the toilette ;) Lots of windows (all of them can be darkened)
Everything accessible for wheelchairs also.

The view was outstanding. We had the corner unit. I moved my bed up to the window and felt like I was sleeping in the sea! Except I was cosy and dry! The food provided for breakfast was given to us the afternoon before, which we liked. It was generous and fresh. The chocolate cruller was delicious! Our lunch was tasty. I really appreciated the minimal, open space feeling of this place. Very clean, not wasteful. I was in the Azores to research family history. The owner, Rui Correia, was very interested, answered my questions patiently and even called his mother for help. He and I might be distant cousins!
For us, this is not a complaint, but we wish we had known the restaurant was closed on Tuesday. We had planned to have dinner (and drinks, of course) and not have to go anywhere else. There probably is a sign somewhare, but we did not notice. But these hard-working people do need a day off for sure!

With a clean, minimalistic design, the apartments were spacious and well thought-out. The kitchenette allows for meals indoors but the restaurant downstairs is superb, with super friendly staff.
Without a rental car all the main attractions are 30mins away by walking, which is a downside. However, if you rent one, there is free parking next to the accomodation.

I cook. I cook tasty (It is not just my opinion:). Usually I do not like hotel meal. I am a little evil snob when I speak about meals. But... Steaks, burgers, sandwiches, salads - absolutely all I ate was great. Yes there is more snacks than meals but it is tasty. Big confortable apartments, amazing ocean view, superb Owner (with the capital letter), a lot of scenic views near, about 20 min to Horta on foot. It is very local place. Islanders love it, and I can see why.
Only one week. We should have stayed longer:(
