bonne base pour la visite de Pico

Chambre avec vue sur mer et l'ile de Sao Jorge, calme et comfortable, terrasse pour le petit déjeuner ou un petit repas le soir, convivialité du gérant. Vous devrez préparer votre petit déjeuner avec vos produits dans la cuisine mise à votre disposition .

Schöne Aussicht und große Zimmer im Ort neben Sao Roque

Großes Zimmer mit super Ausblick (ist das hier direkt auf dem Bild gewesenen, also Nr. 2). Dusche war heiß und mit gutem Druck. Der Inhaber ist super nett und hilfsbereit.

Die erste Nacht war sehr laut, da viele Hunde gebellt haben und es insgesamt ziemlich hellhörig ist. Man hört die Stimmen nebenan und auch die Dusche.

Experiencia a repetir

Da simpatia do Miguel Angelo que me recebeu, estivemos á conversa um bom bocado, A localização tem vista fantástica para o mar e para a ilha de São Jorge. O quarto era grande e agradável, com cama confortável. WC não muito grande para com chuveiro de agua bem quentinha.

Faz falta um sistema de aquecimento eficaz, o quarto não tem AC, no entanto estava disponível um aquecedor, mas que não é suficiente para deixar o quarto e o WC a uma temperatura agradável. Pela presença da ventoinha presumo que no verão seja bastante quente. Certo que havia cobertor extra disponível.

Beautiful place, nicely designed rooms, friendly and helpful owner. There's a lot of space to park your car or having a meal or coffee outside with a perfect view of the ocean or Sao Jorge island.

Nice place with good host

The host is super. His name is Miguel Angelo and he will help you in anyway possible to make your stay comfortable. Location is good and the facilities as well. It’s a dorm like setup but with good private rooms and some shared facilities.

The beds are good but contain some kind of memory foam which can make them a bit warm.

We liked the room, with a comfortable bed. The host was very helpful and friendly. They have a gallery with a beautiful view of the ocean and Sao Jorge island. Parking included inside the property.

Michelangelo is a great host, very helpful and friendly. The room was big and clean with great sea view. The hotel has a fully furnished kitchen for the guests to use and a fridge. Washing and drying machine available at payment. We recommend the place even if the location is not central has Madalena

Suggestion: make it more clear on the site that the kitchen facilities are shared. It was a bit confusing at first glance when looking at the amenity list.

Stayed one night, had everything we needed :-)

Super short stay (arrive at midnight and left at 7am) but the place got everything we needed. A bed to sleep, self-check in, and a big enough room. Can't give a comment on how it is to spend more time in there, but for one-night sleep close to the airport (15 minutes) was all we needed.

All good. Parking is on the side of the road so got to be careful where you park, but no big deal as the island is super safe.

Inexpensive apartment which could be improved

Great location with amazing views. Very friendly and helpful host. The kitchen was rather outdated, but had basic utensils.

No mosquito nets so you have to keep the windows closed, which was a big drawback for us :(

Easy communication with host

We had a main floor room and it was extremely humid (we stayed there second half of october). You could smell it just by entering the room and the towels wouldnt get dry after one day.

A Bug's Life, in Azores

The host was really friendly and the view from the room was really good, but...

- There were many ants in the room, not just 1 or 2, more like on the 15 or 20, some on the floor, some on the bed and other on me. - There was a smell of wet dog in the room that I figured out came from the bed covers. - The window from the kitchen didn't work that good, as well as some light switches. - The bathroom had a very "humid" feeling. - Definitely too pricey (70€) for what we got, specially the ants, I would not recommend to anyone and I was very happy I only stayed for 1 day. P.S. The host was really friendly, but that can't change the rest of the experience, and I have a feeling this is a recurring situation at the place.

Exceptional

The Village was excellent, clean and comfortable with a great view to the sea and beautiful sunsets. There is a common kitchen with all necessary accessories and dinning room, where you can meet other guests from different parts of the World. The owner of the Village was always there to help us, give us some advices about places and tell us more about the history of Island.
