A favourite place to stay!

The location, atmosphere, cleanliness, facilities and staff are great! It’s become a fav place to stay!

I wish that they would have some sort of back up during loadshedding - for atleast basic things.

Great hotel for a good price

Rooms are spacious, clean, modern furniture. Quiet place and close to Knysna Waterfront. Kind staff.

Breakfast was good but could have more options. I like rooms with blackout shades and my room qas very bright in the morning. Found a big spider in the bathroom. Kind of scary but it’s part of being in the countryside

Perfect spot to relax in Knysna

Stunning location and peaceful setting, quality throughout. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation, everything was finished to a very high standard. Staff were friendly and excellent throughout. Gardens are superb, a choice of two very clean pools. We had a lunch and evening meal here and both were brilliant.

Alles bestens!

Das Hotel ist wirklich toll. Die Anlage ist unglaublich schön! Wir hatten einen super schönen Bungalow mit Terrasse. Alles sehr neu. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett. Man fühlt sich total wohl und sicher. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Leuke luxe accommodatie met aangrenzende padelbaan!

De padelbaan aangrenzend aan het complex was top! Super grote kamer en voelt allemaal heel luxe aan. Op een paar minuten rijden van het centrum van Knysna.

Voor zo’n groot en luxe complex hadden we eigenlijk wel verwacht dat er tijdens de loadshedding generators zijn die in ieder geval licht op de kamer geven. Er was alleen een soort noodlamp, wat het ongezellig maakte om op je kamer te zitten ‘s avonds.

great stay - would come again in a heartbeat!

Breakfast was great! Rooms spacious, beds very comfortable, great bathroom and shower.

DSTv channel bouquet disappointing - cannot get channel 201/211 in bedroom, only in the bar area, and it is the most basic sporting channel. If it was the rugby world cup it would have been a disaster!

Beautiful Room away from the Knysna hub

The beds in the room were incredibly comfortable, breakfast was tasty and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed time relaxing by the pool

For the cost - you would have liked to have the room fully functional at load shedding. Not just wifi. The location is a short drive to the main Knysna strip

Great property!

This was a wonderful find. The staff was warm and kind. Our waiter at the hotel restaurant was amazing. He was funny and helpful. The food was very good. The hotel grounds were well kept. We have never seen so many stars in the sky.

The load shedding was unexpected. Although there was a schedule for when the daily load shedding would happen, we weren’t told right away. I was in the shower the first night we lost power. Not a big deal. Great hotel.

very comfortable and relaxing

Breakfast excellent, very good location. Comfortable and lekker big bed.

we had a coffee and a smoke on the patio and the door closed and we were locked out, the card, phones etc. were in the room and its midnight. Nobody on duty, no security guy and no number displayed for emergency. we had to wake up our neighbor and she found on google an emergency number , finally somebody came and opened our door. An establishment of this kind should have a night duty person or at least a number for emergency displayed.!

A great relaxing place to stop

The gardens and pool areas are amazing. The bar and restaurant serve food all day Location is excellent Rooms are spacious and airy

3 years ago I said I’d come back and I did. It was just as great as I left it.

Bed is superb. Super peaceful. Amazing staff.

No reception after 11pm.

We had a wonderful stay, and wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay at Knysna Hollow Estate. The accommodation is spacious, modern, clean and the bed is very comfortable (A comfy bed is one of my must have’s). The staff were all super friendly and Cheryl, one of the manager’s, was efficient and could not have been more helpful.

There was nothing we didn’t like to be honest.
