Lovely place to stay!

Exceptional atmosphere in this property, you'd think you're in Japan. Very nice rooms with kitchen and balcony. Good location to discover the wider Knysna area

Everything was spectacular. From the views to the comfortable cabin. The owners went above expectations to make us feel welcome on our honeymoon trip. Very helpful with recommendations for places to see and visit. We will go again as soon as we can and stay longer.

A tranquil haven with a stunning view.

We absolutely loved our stay at the studio. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming, the hot chocolate during the load shedding was such a treat. The studio itself is stunning, we were so happy to hole up here for a couple of nights during the bad weather.

Be careful to follow the directions provided by the hosts. There are two paradise zen studios on google maps.

Loved the accommodations. Ellie and Francois were the most amazing and helpful hosts. So incredibly thoughtful. The studio was sparkling clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Beautiful views from all the windows looking out over the lagoon. Can't wait to go back!

Our hosts put great care and attention into the property and the experience. Nothing left to chance.

The location was perfect, hillside, just outside the main town. Great view of the coast yet only 15 mins walk to town. Our studio had an amazing view, all of them are built of wood to high eco standards. The rooms are fitted with great care and attention and well equipped. Our hosts were fantastic - met us on arrival, gave us tips on what to do in the area on request and were always available if needed. I would score Paradise 11 if I could and thoroughly recommend.

Blissful stay at Paradise

I loved the amazing feeling of bliss I felt as soon as we checked in. Francious and Ellie were soo thorough and we felt so so welcome. The bamboo trees, bonsai trees and overall ambience really allowed us to have a much needed reset from our busy lives.

Only the fact that we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely be back.

Load shedding in Knysna is worse than bigger cities - 8pm-11pm was common, which is frustrating

Breathtaking views over the lagoon and wonderful hosts

We loved our stay at Paradise Private Zen Studios. The view over the lagoon and out towards the Knysna heads was absolutely breathtaking - we spent so much time just lying on the bed and watching the light change throughout the day and the sailing boats come in and out. The room had absolutely everything we needed for our stay and Ellie and Francois were excellent hosts with lots and lots of recommendations for what to do and where to eat out. We thoroughly recommend Paradise Private Zen Studios as an excellent place to stay whilst in Knysna!

Everything was perfect. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful providing us with tips during our stay and kept us informed of loadshedding etc. The location is great, walking distance down to town if not wanting to drive. The studios are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Nice attention to details made the stay very pleasant.Views from the house are stunning and the location is quiet and very peaceful.

BEST PLACE IN KNYSNA !!!

WOW. Such a stunning place with the greatest attention to detail. It was spotless and had the most amazing view. We wish we could have stayed longer !! Will definitely come back to this magnificent place hosted by the friendliest couple, Ellie & François. They have done the most stellar job to restore their little gem. This place is without a doubt a 10/10 !!

Amazing stay in a beautiful, relaxed and well designed room

Amazing room surrounded by beautiful nature. Ellie thought of everything: from a mosquito net to an umbrella and candles; everything is available. Also the handwritten notes everywhere were very nice!

Small Heaven

Paradise private zen is like a small heaven that allows one to distress. When we got there we received a warm welcome from the owners Mr Francois and Ms Ellie of whom were so helpful regarding our check in process. It felt at home and their studios are so neat and clean, had everything one might need during the load shedding as well. This is one place I can recommend to friends and family.

The two things that gave a bit of a problem was the hot water and WiFi

Fabulous holiday at Paradise Private Zen garden studio!

The accommodation in the garden studio was comfortable, peaceful surroundings and we had everything we needed to have a fabulous holiday. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a special and wonderful experience. The hosts are amazing! We will definitely be going back in 2023.

Romantic tree top experience in comfortable surroundings. Panoramic view that can’t be beat!

Awesome location once there but difficult to find and drive too. I would not recommend combat night. It has a tree house feel and stunning views, peaceful and quiet. They do not have an electric inverter so they loose power as everything is electric.

The drive up is steep and winding. South Africa has power issues which is difficult.

Absolutely stunning and worth it!

We loved everything about the property - from the views and the facilities. The wine and snacks where an absolute bonus. The hosts where also excellent in helping us find activities around Knysna so that's a bonus.

The inconsistency in the temperature of the water in the shower - that can be improved. Beautiful bathroom but the water was not consistent

A relaxing getaway with a stunning view

Beautiful views, very friendly staff, and very clever space efficiency in the studios.

The road in Knysna leading to the venue required a little bit of coordination with other cars due to the roads being rather narrow, but there is very little traffic so it was never a problem.
