Very nice and welcoming staff and a beautiful view over the Red Sea :) a very good bakery next door and the beach a few minutes walking distance
The quality of the linen could be improved, bedsheets and towels for example

The Staff and the hospitality was unmatched to most of the hotel experiences I've had. Very forthcoming, very trustworthy, very helpful and really felt at home in Aqaba. The hotel staff even looked after my suitcase, while I was travelling to the nearby Wadi Rum desert, which made moving around much easier. Especially the presence of the hotel manager/main receptionist Ahmed Khalaf Younes Azooz brought a lot of comfort and ease into our stay in Aqaba. In total we stayed 4 nights in the Shweiki Hotel. Also safe for women only travellers.
Booking online, it's better to book your first night via online platforms, after that it is much easier & cheaper to speak to the hotel staff directly.

Apart from the bathroom, the room and the views from the balcony were really nice. It is a pity there is a big fountain running outside, because you can hear it almost all day.
A small elevator for the whole building isn't enough. When you go up the stairs, you can feel how measy are the lower floors. Breakfast should be included for the prize you pay.

I booked three twin rooms, when I arrived to the hotel the receptionist " Egyptian guy" with no tag name! was tough and rude, he said there is no room available, and I showed him the confirmation numbers but he refuse to give them to us, I asked him to meet the manager, he brought us a small guy with no tag name! I told him the story, then he said I'll handle the problem, we were six colleagues waited him about 45 minutes at the lounge without any attention, then I went directly to him and he said there is no room available.
When I told them I'll complain about this service but they were careless.
We were not happy at all, we lost our time cause we were looking for another hotel during the hot weather in Aqaba and paid higher than we expect.
I don't recommend this hotel at all.
Bad service and stuff at Front Desk !!!!

The location was pretty good, middle of the town. The price was fair. It had a mini fridge. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The room was small and hot, the A.C was dripping and didn't cool properly. The shower was warm, just warm lol. The bedsheets weren't that clean, furniture was old and wrecked. The view sucked, Could've had a better view staring at the mirror.

The only decent thing was the shower pump and the water was warm enough.
If i wanted a bad service and horrible accommodation I would have rented a stinky apartment
The sheets had stains, the room was filthy, there is no heater nor a microwave, and the fridge was broken, worst experience EVER !
