Breakfast was incredible , the views were unmatched in Harare and the general service was top notch. You wouldn’t expect such a magnificent chalet experience in a city that sort of thing is normally reserved for luxury lodges on safari b ur the good folk at Amanzi have pulled it off. The staff are outstanding as well and respond extremely promptly to any queries. Finally the rooms themselves and the bathrooms in particular are unmatched in Harare
The only two problems were electricity issues due to load shedding in Harare. The generators on site were turned off at midnight which meant total darkness till 5 that wasn’t the greatest.

Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my stay. Got a room upgrade to the Morrocco suite and made the most of the outdoor shower. The staff, the food and drinks were absolutely amazing. I am certainly looking forward to my next visit.
Nothing at all.

Amanzi is a peaceful oasis. The gardens are beautiful and the lodges are simply stunning and so comfortable. The food is incredible.

I absolutely loved everything about the property. Great service, great food, great greenery, and amazing decor. The value for money was absolutely superb! I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone staying in Harare.
Nothing to fault!

Very nice service . Breakfast was fantastic but we went out for dinner so missed out on dinners at the restaurant
Decor in Uganda suite was not your liking. Room is dark with dark curtains and animals hanging on walls. We requested a change of rooms

The property is set in a nice, lush garden. It is tastefully decorated. The rooms are quite spacious with nice African decor.
We stayed in the hotel for one night on a long layover before our flight home. I chose this hotel specifically as the stay coincided with my birthday and I hoped for a nice day in this beautiful property. Unfortunately it turned out a disappointing stay.
The property is set in a nice, lush garden. It is tastefully decorated. The rooms are quite spacious with nice African decor. It all sounds good, but:
1. In my booking form I indicated that it's my birthday and I would like to get a nice room. We got one of the worse rooms in the complex (while the hotel was not full at all) - cold, dark, at the outskirts of the complex
2. the staff was friendly and well trained but it was surprisingly difficult to get things done as they did not seem to be helpful at all. We asked for help in sightseeing arrangements in Harare and had to follow up a couple of times to actually get something organized. There was very little proactivity to help us in our arrangements and ensure we have a good time in the city and we were left to our own research and ideas to plan what we can do in Harare.
3. The onsite restaurant has a questionable value for money. Again, the place is beautifully decorated, the staff is professional but...the food was nothing special for the price quoted. During the dinner, my husband proactively stated that it's my birthday, hoping for some minimal nice gesture from the staff. Nothing. We ordered our food, ate, paid the bill.
Overall I'm very disappointed and will have pretty poor memories about my birthday stay in this hotel. Very poor experience and very poor value for money.

Delicious breakfast in a lovely surrounding and great service.
Abiluty to chill on the hotel premises and enjoy multiple comfort areas (by the pool or fireplace in evenings)
Pool is not big enough to swim, especially if there were multiple people to use it at the same time.

Lovely lodges, spacious. Set in beautiful enclosed
grounds. The staff were brilliant, helpful, polite and
courteous.
I had a spa treatment from Melody. She was amazing.
I highly recommend booking a spa treatment.
Some of the wall in the bathroom was peeling. It
could do with a small makeover. Plus the cushions
on the bed smelt of cigarettes.

The food at the restaurant was incredible! I highly recommend the fine dining experience.
The staff were also very responsive and quick to make sure I was comfortable.

Upmarket property with a fantastic menu in the restaurant and friendly staff
The bottled water in the restaurant wasn’t free and this wasn’t made clear when we ordered. Free bottled water is available from the reception

It is a very tranquil location and the setting made me feel relaxed and at home. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and the rooms were very comfortable with all the requirements one needs when away on a work trip.
The menu for all meals was extremely limited for a vegan/vegetarian. The kitchen staff did try to accommodate but really all I could eat was a choice of 2 meals for lunch or dinner. How about adding a salad option to the dinner menu for summer.
The breakfast menu was also extremely limited with the choice of oats only. Maybe some fruit could be added to the menu. Not sure when the menu was last updated but ours had Feb 2021 written on it.
The coffee was fantastic which did help.

Loved the breakfast, and the general room service. The location is perfect for those who desire a steal on some bit of silence. Perfect ambience for peace and quiet.
