The location is in a prime area, close to everything and walkable distance to the nearest mall.
Breakfast is freshly made according to how and what you like ...
I really don't have anything I didn't like

Everything! Good vibe, good people, helpful staff, flexible, well organized.
Light in the rooms is very dim. Room size is a bit small but all this is normal for a hostel.

The best place to stay in Kampala. We always stay here when we travel through Uganda with students for a school project. The staff is amazing and really helpfull! They have great food and also good breakfast choices. The rooms are clean as well as the shared toilets and showers. The hotel has a guard at the gate which makes us feel safe.

Plumbing in single room on 3rd floor wasn’t great.

Everyone on the staff is exceptional. They are friendly, welcoming and do their job well. Gloria at the front desk greeted me each time by name. She went the extra mile to arrange a Bolt car for me and personally talked to and turned away when a driver showed up that did not match the license plate given on the App.
The restaurant and bar are was such a nice and comfortable place to hang out. I met some really nice people there. The breakfast was fresh and filling. And the PIZZA was sooo good. Prices seemed reasonable too.
I reserved an en-suite private room. It was very, very basic - clean but not pretty.

it has a nice laid back bar area, but most of all, thank to the fantastic Gloria on the desk who helped me with local SIM cards and hiring a car. Much appreciated 😀😀
The only draw back was some rave or night club that banged out horrendous bass until 4 or 5 in the morning for two consecutive nights. It may have just been bad timing for me, but if it was a permanent fixture be aware of it if you Book the double en-suite rooms as they are on that side of the building.
I hope it was just bad timing for me as this is a lovely Hostel 😀😀😀

good location, staff were really friendly
the bathroom/showers could have been cleaned more regularly. all our plugs in our room also didn’t work (room 15).

Hostel has a very nice location - it's in a beautiful part of the city. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was rich. We were very satisfied with out stay- that was a great beginning of our trip in Uganda :)

Staff were great.
Food was fine.
Very noisy 24/7 as situated next to a busy road - try and borrow a fan to drown out the noise (though not always available)
Room wasn't cleaned, tidied, or visited once by cleaning staff in the three day stay
Picture of the room misleading - no balcony
No hot water on 2 of 3 days
Room had no wardrobe so nowhere to hang clothes
No bedside light and overhead lights harsh and unpleasant
No TV in room

My stay was great. The staff is very friendly. My room was clean and very spacious with the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. The food in the hostel restaurant was super tasty even though there was no traditional local food.

Friendly staff, great location. Delicious pizza
Breakfast is not as good as it used to be. I was disappointed this time. Previously all good has been great

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The facilities were clean and in good shape.

Excellent location, great and affordable food available, very clean too.
When staying in dorms with others, there is often only 1 or two keys available. It would be great to give each person their own key, as this makes it much easier if you’re just stepping out to use the bathroom & still want to lock the door.

Hot water was not constant, wifi is poor - the regular in Africa :)

the staff were amazing. they helped me organise gorilla trek on very short notice. trivia on tuesdays is great fun.
only mild inconvenience is that the wifi wasn’t working at all during my stay. they told me this is being replaced though so it should be fixed any day now.

Great for the cost, the photos are a little misleading- as it looks like the balconies overlook some sort of garden, not the car park.
It’s a good backpackers, I had a fun evening. But not ideal for work as the wifi was poor in my room. I had a terrible sleep as the place is really noisy.
If a backpackers is what you’re after, this is for you, not for me though.
noisy at night and bad wifi
