About this bed and breakfast
This newly converted south-facing 3 bedroom condo with an open living and dining area provides bright and spacious accommodation for families and friends. Two bathrooms (one en-suite) plus a further cloakroom/utility room, air conditioning, wi-fi and television all makes for comfortable living. There is also a sofa-bed in the lounge which can be used for additional registered guests. There is a terrace leading off one of the bedrooms and a patio garden for outdoor enjoyment. Just 3 minutes walk from South Kensington Underground station and close to the museums and the bustling outdoor restaurants and cafés that abound in the area, it is ideally located. There is a gymnasium just 3 doors away and the street and the surrounding area of Brompton Cross are peppered with upmarket fashion houses and other great shops.
Exhibition road 4 minutes walk is lined with some of the best museums The Victoria and Albert Museum the Science Museum an amazing place for kids and parents alike , the Natural History Museum one of the best in the world, the Geographic Society, Imperial College, The royal Albert Hall, etc. etc etc, all this leading to our most beautiful Hyde Park which in the winter turns into a Winterwonderland and kensington Gardens where some of our Royals live.On the other side, Nightsbridge ten minutes walk offer the smartest shops in town like Harrods, Harvey Nichols an the best designers., whilst Chelsea down the road caters for boutique clients and the young at heart! 4 . to 5 stops on the Piccadilly line will take you to the heart of China Town ,the West end and the world of theatres

For us (two adults and one child just turning 17 during the stay) both the location, Sonia's warm personal welcome (including several small, fresh flower arrangements and a fruit basket, some breakfast basics and also a white wine which we just didn't manage to drink) and the personal touch of the three bedroom-apartment were perfect. All three of us could sleep very well. Of course, you could hear a bit of the street life and the trains - which did not disturb us in the least.
The dining / kitchen area is nicely designed and equipped with everything you need. The living room is very comfortable to sit - and also to watch TV or to read one of the many London guidebooks. You have personalized cushions everywhere and, of course, large paintings in the dining room area and in the hallway.
Our own house is quite old, and we simply love older houses with a character of their own.
On the next occasion we would very much like to come again.

This was a vey comfortable flat with the owner's (Sonia) personal touches which added to its charm. The flat was well equipped and perfectly located within walking distance of several great museums. The nearest tube, South Kensington Station, was also a very short walk away. Sonia helped with directions, dinner recommendations and everything else we needed to know. We appreciated her generous hospitality.

Pros: great location! Close to Underground and many restaurants. Very nice for our family to gather in the morning for coffee and after our busy days of traveling. Kitchen well stocked and refrigerator had some staples for us. Lots of closet space. A nice courtyard in the front where we gathered for cocktails.
Cons: checkout time in vrbo said 11am but owner told us we must leave at 10am. For the price we paid vrbo for cleaning, I expected a very clean house. Floors were dirty (our white socks were filthy on the bottom), bathroom tiles were moldy, and under the bed was dirty and dusty. Linens in main bedroom were stained as well as the mattress pad. Mattress was very thin, uncomfortable, and the bed was squeaky. Other bedrooms had uncomfortable beds as well. Towels in bathrooms were old and rough. Linens and towels should be upgraded to allow for more comfort to the guests.

Sonia was very easy to communicate with prior and during our stay. She is genuinely concerned that you enjoy your stay and her flat. The flat is spacious and we were very comfortable there with our 10 & 11 year old grandkids. The location to the tube and to many shops and restaurants made it very easy to get around. I would definitely return

We had a wonderful time staying at Sonia's lovely flat. The garden out front was beautiful and the house was full of light. We loved the location and talking with Sonia about all the things to do nearby. Thank you again!

This was a great stay for our family - two adults, two teens, and a pre-teen.
The three bedrooms were great, and the two twin beds allowed all of the kids to have their own bed. Two showers were also helpful in getting everyone ready in the morning. The washing machine and drying rack made doing laundry easy. The kitchen was well-appointed, though we didn't do any cooking as there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
In terms of location, the tube stop is a short, easy walk. With three underground lines at the stop, we rarely had to change trains to get to the popular tourist areas.
Sonia, the host, was easy to communicate with ahead of our stay. She met us when we arrived at the property and gave us a thorough and very friendly orientation. We didn't have any issues during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment in a great location. And Sonia was the perfect host. She allowed us to check in a little early and even supplied some food essentials to get us started for the week. We stayed for five days, parents and adult kids. Was a terrific location and the home was a perfect place to come home to after a long day. You can get anywhere easily from South Kensington tube station which is just down the street. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely perfect, close to the South Kensington Station and within walking distance of sights and shopping. Sonia is the perfect host, even provided some basic staples, wine and fruit to get us started. Good room set out for the family with kids in separate rooms and 2 showers.

Comfortable and homey, perfect location for our party of 3 adults and 2 teens. Very short walk to tube station, museums, restaurants. The neighborhood was lovely.
Sonia kindly allowed us to check in a bit early and had stocked some basic groceries that got our vacation off to a great start, which was much appreciated. We all found the beds to be comfortable and hardly ever needed to use the heating units even though it was a chilly week November. All amenities functioned as described, we had everything we needed!

Sonia is an incredible communicator and was able to accommodate our early arrival from the US. The property is amazingly clean, pics and advertised, close to restaurants, farmers markets and tube. Sonia had the kitchen kindly stocked to get through the first day. One of our best VRBO experiences- would certainly stay here again.

When I imagined our trip to London, I hoped that I could find a place to stay that would be somewhat close to public transportation and have enough space for us to relax after long days of experiencing London. What we ended up with was a perfect home filled with warmth, light, and beautiful art. Three lovely bedrooms and bathrooms (one with a washing machine), a kitchen filled with anything you need to make your own meal or enjoy take out, a large dining room, a cozy living room, wi-fi, tv with Netflix, a front door with extra locks (although we never felt unsafe), and a wonderful host named Sonia who lived downstairs.
What can I say about Sonia that you haven't read in the other reviews? We fell in love with her the minute we met her. She is so intelligent, is curious about the world, and ensuring that your stay is wonderful. We had come to London for a vacation and for my daughter to attend a concert. Sonia gave us excellent advice about transportation, suggested places for us to go eat and visit, and was invested in our having a great time. An absolute dream host and now a friend!
I wouldn't hesitate to book this place. You won't be sorry. You are a block and a half away from The Underground, have access to a multitude of excellent restaurants and bakeries, little shops, and are minutes away from world-class museums and parks. Anything else you want is a train ride away. I can't wait to go back and stay with Sonia again!

excellent location extremely easy to access underground and travel around London. The owner was very helpful and accomodating I feel the beds were a little uncomfortable and the linens and towels could be updated as well as some of the furniture. Overall good value.

We just returned home from a 10 day stay at this flat and have nothing but good things to say about it. Everything was exactly as indicated in the listing, and Sonia was as gracious a host as one could ever hope for. I was in London to celebrate my 60th birthday, along with my wife, my two adult children, plus my sons girlfriend. We enjoyed our stay Brompton & Hans Town condo. The South Kensington location was very good with restaurants and two museums an easy 5 min. walk (The Natural History and Victoria & Albert Museums). But most of all the South Kensington Under Ground station was also a 5 min. walk which opened up all of London to us.
Our hostess was key to making our stay excellent, it was not that our stay was problem free, but Sonia always tried to fix any problem with a smile on her face.

Sonia was a gem and so sweet to us. We were visiting when the Queen passed away. Sonia was so worried we wouldn’t be able to see or do anything. But we still saw plenty and understood the momentous historical event that was taking place for Londoners and all of the UK.

Sonia (the property owner) is gracious, delightful and she aims to please. The property was comfortable, safe and well-located.
Bathrooms are as described but could use some upkeep. Linens are supplied, but these too could use some refreshing. Finally, the property is only 3 minutes from the South Kensington underground station, and while in the residence, one is aware of the trains running regularly behind the property.
