Guide To Lincolnshire
Bordered by the North Sea to the east, Lincolnshire is mostly sought after for its beach tourism pastimes based on several coastal resorts, such as Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes. This historic county of East Midlands spans on seemingly endless landlocked countryside expanses, with rural escapes resting amid its undulating uplands.

We had a lovely holiday in Mablethorpe, the property is close to the town centre and has everything in for a comfortable stay, however the property itself could do with a update especially the ceilings, also we was unable to use the TV in main bedroom as it was missing a remote and the washing machine already had water inside and looked blocked so we couldnt use that either, but in all we still had a good time

We enjoy our stay. Just not like the step out bedroom bit high for little but all injoy stay thanks

Very pleased with our stay. The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk from 2 supermarkets and less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. Having a driveway to park on is also a great bonus. The property itself has everything you need, and it’s all clean and tidy. It’s well proportioned and the enclosed garden was great for our dogs; there was plenty of space for 4 people and our 2 dogs. We’ll definitely be keeping the details of this property for future holidays, it was excellent value for money.

This bungalow is very basic .Badly fitted laminate floors throughout so very cold no cosyness at all.Really cold while we were there unable to turn on heating had to sit with blankets round us in the evening and hot water bottle to bed.No teapot so had to purchase one as well as a shaving mirror as nothing by sink. The neighbours are lovely though both sides.

Had a very enjoyable stay. Property was clean and comfortable. Nice quiet location, very close to all amenities. Everything we required was provided.

This is our second stay. Its great value for money. Ideal for the beach and taking dogs. A great no frills stay and we will book again.

Warm, comfortable and clean. Nice short walk into the town. Ideal back garden, enclosed for the dogs.

We ejoyed our stay although there were a couple of things that could have been improved on. There is no welcome booklet advising about things like how to use heating system, shower etc. The hoover supplied does not work. Garden both front and rear are not in very good condition and can be quite dangerous under foot when it is dark at night. Rear garden is full of weeds and slate covering is very patchy in places. General decor in the bungalow could do with refreshing. Looks a little shabby in places. However, overall the accommodation is ideally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. Would prob look for something in a slightly better condition in the future but as a last minute booking it servedits purpose.

It was clean although the bathroom did smell of urine the whole time we were there , it I think if the garden was better it would of made the stay much nicer , overall for the money it was okay would I recommend it to a friend probably not, would I go again , if I was ever going to go mablethorpe again I probably would

It was brilliant and the first time my dog has been away. This bungalow is fully enclosed so our dogs were able to go in and out without me worrying. Hard floors work for me as so easy to clean. Carpets get grubby with animals and its not my property so dirty footprints wipe away. So close to the beach ect and the dogs were out for hours each day.
The sea air and walking certainly tired them out, including myself. Bungalow clean and tidy. Would certainly recommend this property for a lovely quite holiday. The neighbors are very friendly. I put 3 star for communication as there was plenty if info and phone number on booking my holiday should require him. So no we never met. I don't think not meeting him is terrible but it looks like I have to put something in that box so a 3. Would I go again? Most definitely 100%.

The property is in a nice area and convenient for the Beach and Town Centre.
Unfortunately cannot say anything nicer about this property due to the Dirtiness of the property.
Who ever cleaned the property before we went in had certainly not done a good Job.
We even found a dead moth behind one ornament.
Needless to say we will not be returning to the property and will not be recommending it to anyone.

Lovely spacious bungalow. All you need for a seaside getaway. A dressing table mirror would be handy as the only mirror in the property is in the bathroom.

The bungalow is close to all amenities and just a ten min walk to the lovely beach. Would recommend and will definitely stay again.

Our second stay here
Very comfortable bungalow on a quiet cul-de-sac. The garden is perfect for our little dog. Our only gripe is that there is only one mirror in the property, in the bathroom - not great for blow drying hair. We will be returning next year. Thank you!

Basic but comfortable
A pleasant bungalow in a pleasant neighbourhood. Not luxurious but adequate for families and people seeking a base to explore the town and area.

very much improved from last year
we enjoyed out week there property now has a door to back garden from both bedrooms which we found a lot better than last year and the bedrooms have been changed around which is a lot better only problem we found the washing machine was black in the soap compartment so we had to do a 90deg wash to clean it, and bathroom still has badly marked skirting board it hasnt been painted from last year

Holiday

Great bungalow, great location in a lovely resort
We just loved this bungalow and its location near to the beach and to 2 large supermarkets as well as to the High Street. There was fantastic fast wifi, washing machine, a dishwasher, 2 TV's, central heating. It was very homely and the good sized garden was very well enclosed and safe for the dogs. It is a dog friendly property.
The only negative is that there are some maintenance issues and the cleaners are doing a very poor job on change over. I know the owner is aware and going to get all this sorted, so I would not hesitate to recommend this for next year.
We love Mablethorpe. We know it's not for everyone but we met so many people who had come to live in Mablethorpe after holidaying there. It has a very safe feel with an older population. It is flat so easy to walk about if you (like us) have arthritis and are a bit older. There are sufficient shops, a nearby car boot sale and a weekly market. Huttoft beach is great for dog walking, quiet and has free parking.

holiday bungalow
the property is in a good area but need some money spending on it sofa not comfortable, and kitchen utensils of poor quality and crockery not good and the was oven dirty and all the pans in it, bathroom needs decorating I would have never paid extra for the insurance if I had known what it was like, but we enjoyed our week in Mablethorpe

Property
Windows very dirty, when sun out can't see through them as all dirty smearing, bathroom hole in wall due to damp and plaster flaking off wall, front garden FULL of weeds bad look on property, back garden very weedy, you need a real cleaner who knows how to clean a property as we pay extra 35.00 for a clean property and you need to look at skirting boards ECT, overall very unclean, loons ok on top but under cleaning VERY bad and so old fashioned property for price, only good thing was location, will not recommend to anyone as its so old fashioned and unclean

Mablethorpe
A strange experience being away throughout a pandemic. It was nice to come back to a warm and comfortable house. It’s nicely laid out with decent facilities. Everything in the town is within easy walking distance, with a supermarket at the end of the road. I would highly recommend this location.

A Quiet Retreat
A comfortable bungalow situated in a quiet residential location away from the crowd but still within easy walking distance of shops & beach. As keen gardeners, we found the garden a little uninteresting but enjoyed sitting there nevertheless!

Lovely bungalow
Bungalow in a lovely quiet area, very near to town, very clean, everything we needed. No complaints, didn't need to speak to anyone, hence low stars

Unfortunately cut short
Extremely clean and everything there that anyone might need for a holiday. Would have liked to see a mat in the bath - it was very slippy showering.
Unfortunately we had to leave early as my wife fell ill.

Quiet location but only a short walk to everything you need in Mablethorpe
Booked this particular property for a week as felt it was great value for money & for its description and location. Bungalow is situated at the end of a quiet street with plenty of parking. Accommodation was clean & all appliances, utensils, bedding etc were very new. Great WiFi connection & heating easy to use. Back garden was private, sun trap & nice to relax in after days out. You are about 10/15 minute walk away from both the Co-op & Lidl supermarkets & about 15/20 minute walk from the Main Street of Mablethorpe, promenade & beach. If you have dogs & want to eat out the Louth pub is dog friendly throughout. If you want to leave car behind there are lovely long walks down promenade to Sandilands & Sutton on Sea where dogs are allowed on beach. Place is great for family’s or couples of all ages. Owner kept in touch to ensure all was OK. Weather was glorious considering last week of September. Only recommendation would be for blinds in kitchen to make it a little more private & homely with a mirror in the main bedroom. Would recommend to friends.
