Bathrooms spotless AC adequate beds firm and comfortable friendly staff
.
Pictures in booking way too nice compared to reality. The hotel building is in a scruffy neighborhood near main train station. No top sheets

basic but functional and good value to have as base to leave bags etc
shower was warm

Dirty room, bed, floor, terrible bath towels, broken pipe, the toilet block up, can't be flushed . I check in at 10 pm and can wait to check out at 8 am.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome and helped us with the luggage, also after check out they let us store our bags in the hotel until the afternoon as we were taking a train. The breakfast was generous and varied. I would definitely stay there again!
For the price there's absolutely nothing to complain about.

Good location if you have a train to catch from Cairo Ramses station. Right across the road.
cleanliness could have been a bit better but not bad

Because it is opposite the train station I was kept awake all night by train horns, announcements and noise.

Breakfast food and location on the last floor was ok
Location near train station to move between cities.
Not clean at all.
Cockroaches everywhere in the room.
Worst night ever. We booked 2 days but we moved early on the second night to another hostel in Cairo.
Staff English was terrible.
Elevator with bad appearance (sometimes it only takes imagination to transform a rustic elevator into a nice place).

Reasonable room with gentle shower. I stayed in a room with a balcony. Convenient, very, for Ramses railway station. Good wifi.
Quite a bit of noise, from the trains. Though this also adds to the atmosphere.

Quiet hotel, clean, close to everything I wanted to go

Close to the train station. Smiling staff😃
Certainly, the lift. And where are the main stair case between the 6th and first floor? Felt a bit a bit scary in case of fire.
7.1 / 10.0
Very close to bus and train station. Cabs easy to get .
A/c. Doesn’t heat rooms . Chilly!. Only a one star facility but a convenient overnight stop

I hated everything, i can't believe some of these reviewers stayed at the same filthy, dirty, noisy, unhelpful hotel.
My room was filthy, the bathroom had not been cleaned, there were hairs in my bed and dirt on the floor. The sheets were threadbare and there was no top sheet or doona, just a filthy bedspread. There were 2 towels provided, but both were the size of a hand towel. There was no floor mat even though the shower head was angled to spray outside of the actual shower area.
The breakfast room was filthy the first day but on the second day they managed to wipe the tables. Breakfast was OK, but on the 2nd day the man forgot my egg and gave me less bread.
I was not brave enough to try eating lunch or dinner there and contemplated getting my 2nd days breakfast elsewhere.
The lift is hazardous, and I have no idea why a young man was working in it during the evenings but not in the day time. He didn't add anything to the experience and actually just took up valuable room for actual guests.
While the owner / manager was OK, none of the actual staff were helpful. They wouldn't get me a taxi or help with getting a train ticket. When I asked the 3 men at the desk about having 1 of them come with me to buy a ticket ( as seen in these reviews) I was told it was too crowded and too hard for them. But obviously easy for me.
Someone from housekeeping happened to be near my room on the first morning and asked me something in Arabic which I assumed was whether I needed anything. She brought me the toilet paper and clean towel and just left so my room didn't actually get serviced. The towel was also hand towel sized and useless for drying your body. When I was leaving, I think she asked me for money. Obviously I didn't give her any.
The location is good in theory if you're catching trains, but the property is so noisy, dirty and unhelpful it really isn't worth it.

I took a lot of pictures of the filth but could only pick 1 for each area

I liked this place a lot... I had a very big room with two large beds and a small balcony. The furniture is ok, i am a bagpacker, so it was more than enough. A big fridge and good air condition, so it was perfect. The own bathroom was also very big and absolutely ok. The stuff was very, very helpful, funny and very friendly. Especially the manager Mr. Emad Youssif and the people from the reataurant or reception...
The breakfast at the rooftop was nothing special, but absolutely ok, also to have dinner there in the evening, very easy.
It is very close to the Station and with uber Taxi you can reach everything fast.
So thank you very much, i would like to come back.
